I have an xperia mini and I am having problems connecting to the internet, especially my hotmail account. When I try to connect a lock symbol appears on the notification bar on the top right and then a blank page, this is really frustrating and I have tried everything I can think of (which isnt much), I have just installed the new updates and this hasnt helped.

Since one week i have really annoying problems with my internet in xperia. Problem is that after several minutes of using internet on it for example wifi, it just disconnects from internet. Arrow on wifi symbol is still showing that it's sending something but internet is gone, i have the same problem with 3g too. After couple of seconds it reconnects, or if I restart wifi really fast internet is still on. Is it possible that it happened after i dropped it few times when I moved out.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have now on 2 separate occasions noticed that I have had a small lock symbol next to the phone symbol when making a call. When this is showing there is no ringing tone and the call cannot be made. At the same time people have told me that they have been ringing but my phone is switched off which it isn't. Does anyone know what this is as I have looked for this lock symbol in all 118 pages of the manual and can'r find why it is happening.To get rid of it I do the norm switch off the phone and switch it on again and hey - all's well again.

I had a software update come through recently which told me I needed to go to the Sony Ericsson website to update it.. I tried to do this and it appears I can only update it using a PC as its not compatiable with a Mac computer (which I have).I have tried running the software update on the phone and as it can't connect to the internet it wint update anything.. so Im stuck in a circle now.

I have simple mobile and I called them up and changed the APN settings 6 times and it never worked. I tried downloading the settings and when I click on simple mobile it says cannot download. But when I click on t-mobile it says successfully installed but I still dont have it. Nothing works and I am desperate here. It just stopped working out of the blue. I was on the phone with 4 different represtatives that had no clue how to fix it. I did update the phone to the new 5.0.2 and it still doesnt work and it didnt work before that either.

My internet connection was not working properly, it keeps on loading the apps I am accessing but the contents were not loaded. I already asked this to my network center which is GLOBE/TM and as per their analysis, there is no problem with my sim, it has the correct settings and connection.
