How do I send multiple SMS to my contacts on Xperia X10? First of all it doesn't give a dropdown list of my contacts So I manually input by selecting the first letter of my contacts names. Only limits it to several, i'd say about 10/12 people. Then when I send the message, in the notification I get a message saying sms failed. Only 2 people seem to recieve the actual SMS.
View 6 Repliesi am reltively new with the x 10 Mine is just 2 months old And recently updated it to 2.1 But mediascape doesnt still have a option of selecting multiple files over bluetooth.... and i am still adding contacts to the senders list for an sms individually throught he addrecipients or edit recipients option...isnt there an option to mark recievers at one go as in normal phones..? this gives a big headache while sending sms to many people..i am currently using handscent sms but wanted to know if sony did provide a bug fix for th same,

I've recently changed my phone from an SE C902 and used the picture messaging facility to send multiple images in the same message (up to 5 depending on size/resolution).I can't seem to find an option to do this on the X10 mini pro, I can send a single image in a picture message but not multiple images.

So the message thread will say "Name1 Surname1;Name2 Surname2" but I have only sent the message to one person. I did send someone I know a text (one) yet as confirmed on my bill a text was sent from my phone to that number as well as seven other people that I do not their names or numbers at the exact same time to the minute. I found this out when a bunch of strangers started calling my phone asking for me by name... How could this have been sent to the other seven people? Did the one person HAVE to forward it to them? (I know he knows at least one of the receipts) Is there a way for someone to hack into my or their phone?

View 5 Replies View RelatedIn september I bought an 8330 curve. It worked great, and other than a few small things (not comfirming bbm contacts) it worked awesome, solid, never unstable. The screen started to have bubbles on the inside of it, so I took it in on warranty, and was given a new one AFTER I was sent home to make a backup. I get the new phone, came directly home and reloaded the backup. The next day, it started randomly rebooting. Even if it was just sitting there.
Sunday it shut off and when it tried to restart it just went to JVM error 102. If you reset it or did a hard reset it would always go to JVM error 102 when it tried to boot. I was out of town, and use my phone for work, so I was tickled pink, since its supposedly brand new.
Monday night they give me a new one AGAIN because nobody at the store can seem to fix it or figure it out. I go home, reload my data, wich is now a week old, and within a few hours it randomly starts rebooting agian. Then it wouldnt start, just flash the red LED, wich it did regardless of how many times I tried a hard restart. Eventualy this morning after 8 hours of flashing the red LED, I did a hard restart and it work.
I don't download apps. I use the phone, text, email, and I email pictures to my boss. Its the main reason i have a BB, so I dont get killed on MMS message charges, I just have unlimited email and I send the pics on email. The odd time I browse. And I don't do any of the things ppl talk about on crackberry where they are farting around doing things they arent supposed to and thier phone crashes. Any idea why my "new" curves keep doing this? 3rd one in 5 months, and 2 of them in the last week.
Apps? The ones that come on the phone from the factory. I live in terror that any thing else will brick my curve. I even talk nice to it.
I have contact list with records for a lot of people (300+), each with several phone numbers each, home, mobile & work, etc, .I can't seem to find a way to have the iPhone announce the name & number or name & type (home,mobile,work) of the caller from the contact list, my old cell phone could do that easily.
At the moment what I've been doing as a work around for a few (important) people is to create a custom ringtone for that caller & that phone number. Since it also seems there's no way to attach a different ringtones to each number in a single contact record I've had to create multiple contact records for each person, each with a different name/number combination such as "John Doe Work", "John Doe Home" or John Doe Mobile" then assign to it the custom ringtone I created for that name/number.
I need to this so that if I receive a call while I'm driving (or whatever) that I can't answer right then for some reason (often happens), the ringtone I created for that name & number helpfully lets me know who & where their calling from. It's very important to know where someone is calling from, if someone's calling from home then I know I've got some time, but if their calling from work then I need to get back to them quickly.
having to make multiple contacts & ringtones for a every person with multiple numbers is a extraordinary waste of time. My old cell phone could do this with no problem but there doesn't seem to be any way to do this with my new iphone.

First, I thought people where crazy, sending me the same sms two or three times in a row. But now I've realized that they aren't, it's just my phone that receives them over and over again. It is the same thing with notifications. If I set a reminder in the calendar, the reminder pops up in my notification bar sometimes five or six times before I get to angry and delete the whole event from the calendar.
