I am having problems accessing my Yahoo mail when i am on the yahoo page via wifi , it tells me that my password is invalid. I have just bought the phone so not sure if i need to syncronise anything with Google?

View 1 Replies View RelatedAbout two weeks ago my Nokia 1020 suddenly stated giving me an error message when I clicked to synch my Yahoo mail account. It worked absolutely fine for over a year. I have made no changes to the phone OS nor added any new apps. I changed my password and then retried - still not able to get mail. All of my other email accounts are still working fine. I can get yahoo mail on my iPad just fine. I have deleted the account, rebooted the phone and created a new instance of Yahoo mail and still it does not get to mail.

View 9 Replies View RelatedMy wife bought me a secondhand BB 8900 [Vodafone] on the internet. She put in the sim from "Talk Mobile" and I am able to use the phone fine. I am also able to connect to my home BT WiFi and the phone shows up on it's screen that connected to my WiFi and it's ID. Is there any way I could access my Yahoo e-mail on this device using my home BT WiFi?

I set up my Yahoo mail account on the native mail app on my iPhone 5 using my home wi-fi network. Everything works well. But when i switch wi-fi networks, it can't retrieve my emails. This happened when I'm on my office's network. I do not use cellular data (3G nor LTE). I'm strictly a wi-fi person, either at home, in the office or some coffee shop, restaurant or mall.Â
I forgot the error message, it said "can't connect to server".

I have installed the Yahoo mail ndroid app and the e-mail is good. However I can only get instant e-mail notifivations when on wifi. I can pick up emails on 3G but only by opening up the inbox. The emails still do not show up as notifications. No reply so far from Yahoo technical help.

View 8 Replies View RelatedThis is really bothering me.I have a yahoo mail account set up on my phone - It has been on there for over a year - it has always worked this way - If I get an email (the phone goes "bing") and i read it on the computer - and responded and delete it on the computer it would be removed from the phone the next time i looked. Recently I began noticing that the message is not being delated from the phone if I delete it from the mailbox, and I can't figure out why.
Basically I want to be able to read the message on the computer and hit delete and for it do the same thing on my blackberry and vise versa. Now it seems to work if I delete the message on the BB then it will not be in the Mailbox on the computer.

1. how to set up hotmail, yahoo mail, gmail accounts along with official company mails which is already set up. important is to received online mails the i am receiving official mails on company account, means it rings when a mail hits inbox, i want the same for hotmail, yahoo mail and gmail?
2. how to play Internet on it, when i click on any Internet video, it asked, do you want to switch to wap to stream the video, when i say yes, it gives error message, if i am on wi-fi connection, even then it does not play any video, simply gives error message.

I have an iphone and setting an e-mail account was peace of cake. Nokia drives me crazy. I did factory defaults and everything but nothing seems to help. I can access internet by wi-fi and by my operator (successfully browse the WEB).

I have set up my yahoo mail account on my Nokia C6-01. I receive mails as they should do. But I Cant send mail. When I compose a mail and try to send it it just stays in outbox. I have set the mailbox settings correctly. While my gmail account works fine to send mails. Mails are sent instantly. Is anyone else going thru this trouble? And I Cant set up the Ovi mail mailbox. It keeps telling me "unable to sign in"

It was displaying "cannot get mail" and couldn't connect to the server, even after I updated my password on the phone. It seemed like it was reverting to my old password, even after I successfully changed it.Â
I switched to trying to access Yahoo through Mail - Other and it worked. I can receive my e-mails, but now it is not letting me send outgoing mails. It says "doesn't accept relays".

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a strange issue with my xperia pro.Since a week back i am not able to access the internet through wifi across all apps except for the Good email application!Xperia pro is not the issues since I am able to access my emails via Good all the time.My router cannot be the issue since on all other devices (ipad, iphine, pc, laptop) i have full connectivity (both Good and all other apps).
Now comes the strangest part:I switched to my neighbors router and lo and behlod everything works on my Xperia pro.I have no clue where to pinpoint the problem.
Since all threads where people complainand ask questions about this are killed by sonyi can really be botered to come here anymore.

I'm using my laptop as an internet hotspot using program mHotspot. I'm connecting to this network using another laptop and my Xperia Z2. I was using it for like 2-3 weeks already and everything were working fine but suddenly it stopped working correctly, I mean my phone doesn't have internet anymore. I doubt it'd be a problem with that program because my second laptop has internet access all the time with no problems.
Every time I'm trying to load some site (google, youtube, anything) I'm getting an error: This web page is not available. I can ony Reload or Show details. I click on "Show details" and it says that the server can't be found because the DNS look-up failed. There are some solutions to this problem but none works, I tried them already.
On the bottom of the page it shows Error code: DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_BAD_CONFIG.
Okay I get it, its something with DNS configuration but I can't figure out whats wrong. I tried changing DNS address in wi-fi settings but it didn't work.
Looks like its a problem only with my internet browsers (I tried using both Chrome and Dolphin browser) since other apps which uses internet connections (like Skype, Facebook messenger) works fine (except for that avatars are not loading at all).
Also I'd like to add that I wasn't changing any settings on the phone before the error appeared. I was browsing the internet at the evening and at the morning it wasn't working anymore.
I just bought this phone today and my wi-fi is not turning on to have access to the internet. It's just not turning on anyway. I updated everything and tried settings, but still it won't turn on.

After setting up yahoo on the Mac Mail program, my iMac and iPad can receive new yahoo e-mails when they check for mail, but my iPhone not only isn't receiving yahoo mail when it checks for them, it will not fetch new e-mail either when I manually tell it check for e-mails. The only way it has received any of the new e-mails is after I shut down the phone and rebooted it. Again, everything was working fine until I set up Mac Mail today.
