Recently bought a Sony xperia X10. Very nice phone so far. I just made an update for the operating software on the internet. Just afterwards when click on the calendar, this was not working and this message appeared.
the process com.android.calender has stopped unexpectedly. try again. I was forced to close and when I tried again and again it didn't work out.
when I got the phone I could open the calendar in monthly view and when I clicked a day it would open in daily view, so I could see all events for that day.
What is currently happening is: when I open calendar it starts in task list view, and i can switch to monthly view, i can browse the calendars, but when I get to a day I want to view, I click it and it shows the event list view, from today, its so frustrating because I want to see details of the day I clicked, not today.
I have tried flipping all sorts of settings and the phone has been restarted since this.
I downloaded the latest update and everything works fine. But now i noticed that i can´t open the calendar in the phone.When i try entering the calendar a popup message comes up : "com.android.calendar whas unexpectedly stopped"

Before updating the phone, I syncronized my calendar with the one on my google account as a backup, since I use my celendar all the time to help me remember stuff.
My calender crasched after the update, ( com.android.calender" failed") How to do to get it back ? How to make MW600 + mediascape to work together ( start/paus, fwd , bck will not work )

I have tried rebooting, doesn't help.I sync my calendar with outlook through google. There are some semi-advanced entries there, ie meetings with replies. However, problem persists when I disable that calendar from my outlook.Calendar data is accessible for my agenda widget. Data shown on the widget is even updated when I add data to my google calendar.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI just recently noticed that the notification LED would no longer work or blink if there is an incoming message or missed call IF THE SCREEN IS OFF. I am confused since the it will work if the screen is on (which is the opposite before the update).Before I got the update, the notification LED works as it should. This is clearly a bug, and needs to be fixed. It isn't something that can disable the total functionality of Xperia Ray users?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI allways had sony ericsson phones,allways considered them top quality phones,untill i bough a xperia neo,the phone is great and offers a lot more than other brands at the same price and performance,but when i updated my neo i allways had problems,with wi-fi,networks,Sd card,sound quality,when i updated it today at the last 4.1 android version a probleam apeared with my network,it says invalid sim,after a restart it worls a few minutes then the error apears again.I read on forum and saw that many people had this problem,my bottom line is SONY has to solve this bug,cant they see every one who updates his neo has this problem,im tired of this honestly and starting to doubt sony;s quality,to bad i really liked this brand
View 1 Replies View RelatedLast night I did the update to my phone as i kept getting a msg in the drop down tab telling me to do so.Anyway half way through the update i got a msg saying an error has occured pls restart update.......however the phone is now not working at all.When it comes on i get the sony ericcson across the middle and it then goes to a half black, half green (with slight pattern on the green section) screen and turns itself off after a few seconds.I am LOST without my phone. Have tried connecting it back again, but once it automatically turns on and this strange screen appears it turns off.

I get the same error and I have tried several email clients from the play store, and none of them was able to connect to the email server.
I have a Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 and tried to use the Update Service to get the latest firmware for my phone, but after the new phone software was downloaded and started to install onto my phone it only got to a few milimetres of completing before it threw out an error saying that that it couldn't install the new software!!Now my phone doesn't want to work anymore! Every time I start up the phone it just shows the x10 picture with an exclamation mark in a yellow triangle!

The vutual sticks now seems to have stopped working, games don't even register they are there. Also the screen is playing up too, when it screen closes down, no matter how hard I press power button screen hardley ever comes in to life. Sometimes I can swip to unlock and can feel the phone vibrate as if something happaning but screen never comes alive. I now have to remove battery to restart.
I've tried doing a complet re load and took everything back to default but nothing.
I'm getting near the end of my tether, as I don't want to ahve to send my phone off for 2 weeks as I've got no replacement! Stupidly I sold my old phone.
I tried to sync up the calendar between my calendar and the gmail calendar. Since the sync -up my normal calendar does not open saying there is a process error. Also Moxier calendar does not show anything in the calendar though I have given the right server name for google.
