Oct 17, 2010I have a W910i R1FA035. When my bluetooth headset is connected, as well as the wired headset to enable radio I cannot receive radio in my bluetooth headset. The sound comes in the wired headset only. I have tried vkp patches from top sony but it did not help.

Nov 25, 2010Before the problem happened, i left my phone on in standby mode.I discovered after the problem happened, the phone was permanently shutdown, nothing i did (trying all the keys, taking battery out etc) could turn it on again.When I charged it, it still refused to turn on.The only thing that happened when it was under the charger was that the top left key and 'main' middle button in the directional keypad light up in red. The other non numerical keys light up to varying degrees of brightness, but the top left and middle key are the brightest for some reason.Could someone kindly advise, I would like to have my functioning phone back.

Sep 3, 2010My phone keeps coming up with error Indexing of files failed due to lack of memory. Delete one or more files of your choice. I have deleted files but the error is still coming up. This seemed to occur after storing a large amount of data on my 8GB M2 card. I have tasken the card out but the phone still has error. Tried updating software but it says it is the latest. Also done a Reset settings from Master reset - error still occurs. Everytime I switch on phone the free memory is sometime 10MB. 6.1MB or 4.9MB.

Nov 4, 2010I have upgraded the firmware in my W910i, and now it doesn't see/recognize the messages (email, SMS, MMS) that have been saved to the M2 memory card, nor does the phone see/recognize the Java applications I'd added. I know all this data is on the card, because I've seen it, via a card-reader, on my notebook.
I have kept a record of all firmware change activity, except I don't know what the original firmware details were, i.e. straight out of the box. I use this SE 'jewel' as a Walkman/iPod, a PDA, and as a serious portable email client, and don't want to lose the ability to migrate my email through any OS upgrade (or phone model upgrade, as I also have a W705a).
I know those 5-6 files (like MSTK_PRO.IND) in the root directory of the memory card have something to do with it, but I don't know how. I have actually seen that the content of the email messages (body.dat files in sub-folders with long numeric names) is simply pure text. I hope there is a way of 're-sewing' the pieces together, using some sort of key formula.

Aug 26, 2010I recenty bought a Sony Ericcson Aino mainly because of the MH 100 bluetooth headset. I love listening to music and I hate the messy wire from the phone to the headset so I loved the idea of MH 100. But after having it for only a week, the MH 100 suddenly stopped working. It won't light up whenever I try to turn it on, or whenever I try to charge it. It was fully charged the last time I was able to use it. Is there some kind of solution to this other than bringing it back to the shop where I bought it? I know that sending it to the service centre would take a lot of time. And it's been only a week since I bought it and still is fairly new so having it opened up already kinda feels bad.

Aug 2, 2010I have two bluetooth headsets, one is HBH-DS200, the other is MW600. The same problem is: If the bluetooth headset was closed first(out of power), You can not hear anything when calling or answer a call. And you'll find the button "Use the headset" appears when calling, actually the headset has already disconnect, meantime the loudspeaker becomes dumb.
Even if I closed the bluetooth function of Satio. The problem still exist. Then if You reconnect to the bluetooth headset, You can hear the sound through the bluetooth headset while playing game, music, video. But while calling, nothing could be heard, the loudspeaker becomes dumb again! You have to power off Satio and restart the phone, if you want to use the call function, not only a media player! The strange is if you closed the bluetooth of Satio first, the phone function works well.
Sony Ericsson :: Naite - Music Volume Level On Headset Is Little Soft
Oct 8, 2010I just bought a Naite yesterday. Used it as usual, drained the battery first, then charged it up till it's 100 percent complete. I went to school. During the trip, I plugged in the bundled headset HPM-60 and played some music. I noticed then, compared to other phones, that the volume level of the music I'm hearing from the headset is a little soft considering I'm, at that time, playing the music at it's maximum volume. I tried changing the equalizers of the phone but still, there is no great change to the volume I'm hearing.
I played the same music on Nokia 7210 Supernova and Motorola W231, with same bitrates, sampling frequencies, and file size, and found out that the Naite's sound is really softer compared to the other two. I even tried to fiddle with the settings (stereo widening, equalizers) but still, the Naite ended up with the softest sound. Is there anyway I can increase the volume of my Naite?

When I try to go to the software updates on the W760a hompepage, it loads a blank page. Oct 13, 2010As the title implies, I need to ask if there are varying kinds of Sony Ericsson LCD screens for the G705 or if there are variations in models made. Nearly 6 months ago I bought a Sony Ericsson G705 phone off eBay that only needed a new LCD screen. Well I purchased a screen off eBaand was good to go except for a few minor issues...
1.) The LCD screen had a thicker screen/border than the original so I had to mod it by taking off the white border around it.
2.) The ribbon that connects the LCD screen to the G705's keypad wasn't aligned correctly causing it to disconnect from the keypad every so often. This too I had to fix by sticking some paper underneath where the connector sits. It worked after the modifications but the end result is the keypad was raised causing issues where pushing the up key would force it to push the left key too. Unfortunately after awhile the screen stopped working likely due to the fact the different layers were separating. I gave in and bought a new screen from an online dealer elsewhere just to get scammed in the end with a broken LCD screen which they refused to replace claiming I cracked it. So now I've purchased a new screen of eBay yet this one has issues too, it's thinner than the first one I got, but has the same problem where the ribbon doesn't appear to be aligned correctly either. This time however, I get some ugly dead pixels in the lower left corner of the screen and the rest is completely jumbled with white lines going through it. I've already contacted the seller for an exchange and am about to lose all hope getting this phone working. Anyway, back to the topic. Do the screens in the G705 vary from region to region or between versions? When I got it I found the phone was from Hong Kong (firmware was HK anyway.) though the manual and included paperwork suggested it was from France. The screens I have purchased seemed to have varying differences between either the thickness is too wide, the ribbon doesn't fit the correct position, or some other incompatibility. I bought this phone.

Apr 12, 2010Please help someone I have encountered my first Elm problem. Over night I charged the phone & this morning it's still charging & will not pass 66% charge. I took battery out put back in & charged with the phone off for another hour. When switched back on it was now @ 65% This was after another hour of charging with the phone off. I then did a master reset of all not just settings. Charged it up again for a further hour & still the charge is not increasing. Please help what the hell is going on? This battery has a mind of it's own. I have a feeling something has occured since I kept plugging & unplugging quite often the phone in & out of my pc. So maybe it's caused this I do not know. Please any suggestions this phone has been reliable upto this piont
