May 24, 2010I dropped my W395 in the bathroom so it got moist and started to malfunction so i took it to the repair shop, and it was repaired under warranty. It was reprogrammed and the flex was changed. So before it got repaired, I'm am sure that my cell was only able to download 1,040 MB max. So i cant download mp3s with better bit rate. But after it got repaired, (the firmware was changed from R1DA015 to R1FB001) I tried to download a 3 MB mp3, expecting that at 1.040 MB it will stop downloading and say, 'page too large to be loaded. Choose another link'. But lo and behold, it didn't stop and now i can download without any size restrictions. I was pleasantly surprised at the improvement so i just wanna ask you guys if its normal for that to happen when you update your firmware? Cos I'm assuming that updates don't affect the RAM of your phone, it only fixes the bugs. Or maybe the technician replaced some hardware inside the phone?

Nov 7, 2010Having bought a SE Spiro a few weeks ago and up til now not having any problems with it, I'd like to know if it's possible to change the clock colour. The reason I ask is that I have a wallpaper/screensaver with a mostly white background and as the clock is also white and only has a thin black outline it is almost impossible to read.My wife also has a white background on her W595 but the clock is black which makes it easy to read.

Sep 13, 2010i have just purchased a sony ericsson spiro w100i after having had a k310i for many years. On the k320i was a word suggestions option which had "display as list" or "dont display"selecting "dont display" meant that i didnt have the box showing up with a list of possible words i was typing in. On the new phone (w100i) I found "word suggestions" and "next word suggestions" both of which i set to off.However i am still having word suggestions displayed.I would like to know if it is possible on the w100i to not have the list of words displayed as it was with the k310i? any help would be greatly appreciated and of course if it isnt possible to have it not displayed i will just have tp get used to it .

Nov 22, 2010Recently I have purchased a new handset of Walkman series W100i, a slider phone. From the day beginning its memory card is not functioning. If I try to store songs or some other files like wallpapers, its showing the memory full. And the shopkeeper told me that the card is of 2GB, but it shows me the no space everytime and not able to upload any song or anything else. I have argument with the shopkeeper and he just lingering down.

Jul 23, 2010why does W395 has no software supports? The phone is really slow,and most of the jar(*.jar)files doesn't support the phone. The phone doesn't support multi tasking either,i tried call recording and got this message that it doesn't support multitasking.
The phone is cute and all but with no software support and being really slow,its a real pain. I hope sony ericsson team comes up with a software update for this model. I'm really looking forward to it. The phone also supports motion gaming and it would be nice if the site provided some games supporting this feature.

Sep 4, 2010I have bought a Sony Ericsson W395 but cannot transfer music files - or at least I can transfer the files using Windows Media player (connecting via a USB cable and using the 'Mass Storage' option) but although the files appear on Windows Media Player I cannot find them anywhere on my phone! I have the same experience using Windows Explorer. I cannot download the Sony PC suite as it is not compatible with Windows 7.

Jul 25, 2010I have a W395 with a smashed screen. I've been trying all sorts to get the text messages off it but to no avail. It usually involves sending me a text message with a verification code or something, but I can't read the text. I was going to try forwarding the messages to O2's bluebook but I can only see the bottom, left half of the screen faintly and can't quite see which buttons I should be pressing.

Sep 24, 2010I downloaded the PADDYPOWER mobile app onto my Vivaz and it works fine up to a certain screen. When it's downloaded it looks like half the phone screen are the "web" pages and the lower half is a "navigation pad" with a central "select" button. When I go to place a bet via this app, the "select" button is supposed to make the keypad pop up so that amounts can be entered but nothing happens. Any sent AT Commands from PC are echoed back to PC, but never get the expected "OK". Instead T68 send "ERROR" appx 20 sec after last AT Command is sent from PC. Have tested two T68i with same result. Baudrate = 9600. Tested with other standard baud rates too in desperation. No parity and 1 stop bit is used. What am I missing?

The problem I have is when the phone locks me into GPRS, it becomes a virtual paper weight. It works great if I can get it to lock onto Edge by walking around enough. I want to be able to manually choose Edge. Why can't I do this?
