I have Vivas Pro with Roadsync program to push email. Any advise to setup push email Gmail with RoadSync in Vivas Pro? If Vivas Pro dont support gmail.com for push email, is ther any solution?
View 4 RepliesA while back i remember reading something that someone had wrote about how you can use apps etc for a different phone (i think it was a nokia) that will work on the vivas. does anybody know if this is true and if so which phone is it? I'm really wanting to get more apps etc for my vivas but all i seem to find either cost money, need signing or are not suitable for the vivas.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI may have stopped "google framwork services" last week, but I do not think this is related.Basically, my gmail app no longer gets push notifications or syncs automatically.I have android 5.0.1. nexus 5 and the latest gmail app versions. I have checked all settings in the app, and made sure that all my sync settings are enabled. I can see that the last sync of gmail was over 30 minutes ago, yet I've sent emails to my gmail account since then and they appear on the web version.The app won;t show new emails until I manually refresh within the app.
I googled a bit and saw that some people with a similar issue dod a "factory reset" to solve. that seems a bit extreme. Is there any other way around this. I've done all the usual things, cleared data in gmail app and forced stop and restarted phone.I even removed my google account and readded it. nothing worked.
I have just setup email on my urve 9330, but it duplicate what I get from my Gmail app (which I like better). Can I disable email from arriving on my Curve 9330 and use only the Gmail app?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI bought the SE Aspen couple of days ago and ran into an email problem. Im located in Finland and using Sonera's network (all bells and whistles installed). The Ready to Run app loaded all settings ok and browsing via exploder is ok. SMS and MMS are also working as they should. But for some reason when im trying to access my gmail IMAP account via Aspens email app I get a sync error -message when in 3g/gprs areas. In wifi the folders + inbox load ok (allthough the folders appear to be empty). In my previous devices i've used ProfiMail (which I think is THE mobile email app if you're using IMAP) and I installed it to Aspen too. Same thing here, in wifi everything works (every folders content in displayed properly) but when out of wifi area > sync error.
I've tried to play with the settings (have also set them manually as service provider's web manual instructs) and I'm pretty sure Sonera's settings are ok, since browsing, SMS and MMS work when in 3g/gprs coverage. access my gmail account via exploder also in 3g/gprs so im able to read incoming mail but because of my work (sales) i rely heavily on the information i have stored in my various gmail folders when on the road > accessing these and manipulating them via browser isnt fun/ possible.Also one other "fault" I have discovered in Aspen is that when using network updated time zone, it suggests that i change my time zone few times in a day (im in +2 zone and Aspen tells me to switch to and from +3 zone every now and then). I never had this problem with my previous (non-SE phones).
I just got a SE c905, and I'm lovin it. I used the browser to access my gmail account a few times, but suddenly it stopped working, and each time I try to go to gmail.com it says, " Connection error, try turning off wifi or contact your provider for support"Anybody know what's goin on?

It won't let me delete and eventually changes to a date in the year 2000 then randomly will go away. It just shows up on it's own. Email setup with default gmail account settings.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've just received my Vivaz Pro and I'm desperately trying to set up a mailbox to sync email from my company's MS Exchange server.
I'm trying Settings->Application->Messaging->SyncEmail but after completing all the steps nothing happens. I've read about RoadSync but I don't have it on my phone (got it from Vodafone Italy), and it doesn't seem fair to have to pay for something I definitely expect a smartphone to be able to do for free. Is there any step-by-step guide on how to set up an "activesync" mailbox on the Vivaz Pro?
Does the native HTC Mail app in Sense UI, push gmail? Or any other IMAP connections that support the IDLE command? Or does only the native gmail app push gmail? I ask, because I have multiple email accounts on my phone, gmail, hotmail, etc.. gmail is on the native gmail app, which is currently pushing... but the others are in the HTC Mail app.
I'd rather have 1 app for everything, instead of bouncing between.. IMAP is IMAP.. which the HTC Mail app supports (for moving to and from folders).. but if it doesn't push using the IDLE command (like gmail app does).. then I'm stuck where I am.
I don't know if my thread title makes sense but basically what I would like to know is what are the advantages of downloading the Gmail app vs just setting up a Gmail account through my BIS (Email Settings/Add Account)? My main objective here is wireless contacts sync. I have read a lot of negative feedback regarding Gmail on a BlackBerry but I will not really even be using this for email all to often, although I will from time to time.
What I have done is just added my new Gmail account through the native BlackBerry email setup and then downloaded Google Sync. I downloaded the Gmail app but I didn't really like the UI and I like to have all 3 of my email accounts go into the same folder.
I am trying to configure my Aino to receive POP email. I am able to do it but as soon as I start using it and delete one message, it stops working. I have to delete the account and and configure it again. I must not delete any message otherwise I will stop working again.

I cannot send emails so the outgoing server is the problem. I have tried several different email addresses with no luck. I used the same settings as I use on my PC to set up the SMTP settings. When I try to send the screen doesn't respond and the mail stops in the Outbox.

I thought that Nokia messaging worked the same as blackberry smartphones, so my phone has to use gprs/umts connection only when nokia messaging server sends him a notification of an incoming mail...is is possibile to let e72 work this way?

View 14 Replies View RelatedI switched over from my blackberry bold 9700 to the iPhone 4 and as much as I love it, I can't stand being without my push e-mail. I have my g-mail setup to push my e-mail which works pretty well, but with my bold 9700 I was using BIS and I was able to get all of my 5 different e-mails pushed to my phone. Is there a service or something I have to sign up for that will instantly push my e-mail to my phone? Right now I set it up so my other e-mail accounts are retrieved by my g-mail account but it takes a while for the g-mail to retrieve the e-mails from my other accounts using POP3 and then it finally pushes them to my phone.

I have defined a mailbox but every time I go back into settings like the prompt says the mail box is not there and I then have to define a new mail box, which then disappears again. I have even read the instruction book and gone through the correct steps.
