Sony Ericsson :: Spiro - How To Change Default Number On Phone?
Oct 4, 2010Actually I have 2 questions first one is anyone know how to change the default number on the spiro phone, it says my default number is a totally different number to what my number actually is, don't know how it managed that! Also I want to create a phone lock password and even though my phone is brand new and I've not set one there seems to be a password set as when I try to input a new one it says incorrect password entered!

Sep 20, 2010Last night my phone started acting weird and asking if I wanted to copy contacts from the USIM any time I tried to look at my contacts. I ignored it most of the time, but earlier today I tried turning it off and on again to see if that would sort it. Now it literally won't do anything, apart from display a message saying "Insert correct USIM". I haven't done anything different with it that I can think of that would have caused this. I've already tried removing the battery, sim card and memory card but nothing seems to work. Any ideas whether it can be fixed, or what could have happened in the first place?

Nov 23, 2010I need to transfer my phone contacts from my C903 to my X10 mini before the 24th but bluetooth isn't working - "paired but not connected" mesg - and more importantly, the C903 will not connect to PC Suite or PC Companion. When the phone is connnected via USB, the PC finds the Camera aspect of the phone but not the phone itself. When the phone is in Mass Storage the C903 connects to both PC Suite and PC Companion ok. I've tried the standard fixes but to no avail.

May 19, 2010I've find this wonderful website yesterday when I was looking for flashing my SE C903. I've seen very interesting things as acoustic mods (to increase the sound if I've well understand) and camera drivers. The most important things for me actually. But like every times for every things I've got problems x). I've seen Brazzuka's Camera Drivers, and I've tried to install it. To do that I've search tutorials, of course I've found them. I've tried "Far", but after my phone is connected, I'm said that a problem occurred and that it's not possible to connect my phone.

So it do not work with my phone. I've tried with A2Uploader, but I had again a problem. As you can see, I've connected my phone, and after this A2uploader load, but after a few seconds it say time elapsed and ready. Nothing else.

May 25, 2010I never used foreign phone when I was in Korea, even I never used Motorola. Recently I bought Sony C903 and it was my first foreign, Sony phone and I like this so much. It was Australian centus(?) branded one so I debranded it. I found information how to debrand from here and there and mostly esato.com here
Now I am having fun modifying my phone so I changed my acoustic setting (thanks to hiro) and changed font. So now I can see my Korean MP3 and Video files. While I was seeking information for those, I slightly saw there was the way to separate SMS and MMS now its all mixed in same category and no way to sort MMS only. I remember, it was way to change some text on some file. I remember he said, it is going to back to old style of SMS, MMS view.

Aug 24, 2010Just wondering how I silence an incoming call on the C903? I know I can press the hang up button but this immediately sends a busy signal to the person calling. Most phones allow you silence the ringer so the incoming call continues and you can still choose to answer it or leave it to go to through to the answer phone. Is that possible on this phone? I've search the manual and can't find anything. Any help would be appreciated.

Oct 9, 2010I have just bought C903 and noticed that there is something wrong with the camera, actually there is something like dust or missing pixels when I turn it on and they appear on every photo or video. They are visible only if zoomed or when I put them on my PC. I've tried to clean up the lens but nothing changed. I am really worried since it's not just 2-3 but hundreds. They are very non technical and I am afraid I think these phones are not really what they should have gotten, but never mind. They don't have data bundles and don't want to use GPRS / 3G / internet. Feb 13, 2010I have a new silver C903 now, this for a while is the last of my phones I now have 3 mobiles I think its enough now. The phone is lovely much nicer than expected not bad build although very plasticy lovely screen & nice camera. The flip down camera cover is pretty robust. Will report more later as I just updated latest firmware although I have noticed the speed of the phone is fast I really like it . Here is a rough photo taken with it.

I have tried a couple of ways my friends have suggested; Menu>Inbox> Press right arrow key. But there seems to be no option still of threaded view? Feb 2, 2010I can renew my contract and I'm able to get a C903, C902 or W705 for free. I actually want the C901 GreenHeart, but I'm not really keen on paying extra money for it. Maybe by the end of the month it's price will come down so that I can get it free, but else I'll have to choose between those two.

But i do have a problem with some of the apps included with the phone for example: The facebook app (included) just says "Wait" The twitter app (included) never signs me in if i press: "Sign In", but it works if i press "have an account?" it logs me in? WTF? Google maps, Ebuddy and more doesn't work either of pretty much the same reason.I checked with my phone company (Telia DK), and we have full 3G support where i live.
