Aug 24, 2010I was searching ebay for accessories and came across this listing, for an ITC-60 tv out cable which says its compatible with the w595

Anyone know if it will work? - what im after is being able to show family the pictures and vids stored on the phone, on the tv using the cable is this possible on the w595.

Mar 8, 2010I was thinking if it possible to make 2 sim card work on the k850? I remember in the past there was a small connection cable between the 2 sim card or something like that on nokia phones.can it be on k850? And if yes.dos it need a application or spicale softwear for that?

Nov 6, 2010I just bought my Sony Ericsson Elm (J10i) phone last 2 weeks. I got a problem with this phone. When i put it in my pocket, and after a while i take it out and i found that my phone is switched off. When i tried to switch it on again, it didn't work. I have to connect it to the charger then it can switch on again. And after it can be switched on, i have to reset all my time and date again. This happened almost like every single time i put it in my pocket. Did i press the reset button or i don't know. Please help me. It's really annoying. One thing im confused is that why do i have to connect to the charger to turned it on after it turned off by itself. If i turn the phone off manually, i can turn it back on but not when i put the phone in my pocket.

Oct 26, 2010have recently purchased a Sony Ericsson Hazel and in spite of a software update the widgets and the social networking applications in the phone do not work at all. I can use the same application by using the phone browser but the inbuilt ones keep giving me errors like 'Login failed' or 'Service unavailable'. Especially Face book and Twitter.

Oct 23, 2010had the phone 2 days on 02 and already been told by them that Internet doesnt work on w995 and 02 (great move) now i am having problems with wi-fi i search and find 5 networks near me, 3 are password secure, but two are open, security none and i connect to it. green icons comes up tells me i am connected but then when i go to iplayer or internet get the wifi error (commuication error, try again, turn off wi-fi contact service provider)but if the neighbours btopenword is open surely i should be able to connect through that as its not password protected even thought its not mine? any idea whats wrong?

Actually I only have English and others, but not Spanish for menus and writing. Is there an option? Also, when I turn on the radio I found an issue. If you save the station the RDS option will not work because the station name is showed instead of the RDS information, is there a way to avoid this?

Oct 13, 2010As the title implies, I need to ask if there are varying kinds of Sony Ericsson LCD screens for the G705 or if there are variations in models made. Nearly 6 months ago I bought a Sony Ericsson G705 phone off eBay that only needed a new LCD screen. Well I purchased a screen off eBaand was good to go except for a few minor issues...
1.) The LCD screen had a thicker screen/border than the original so I had to mod it by taking off the white border around it.
2.) The ribbon that connects the LCD screen to the G705's keypad wasn't aligned correctly causing it to disconnect from the keypad every so often. This too I had to fix by sticking some paper underneath where the connector sits. It worked after the modifications but the end result is the keypad was raised causing issues where pushing the up key would force it to push the left key too. Unfortunately after awhile the screen stopped working likely due to the fact the different layers were separating. I gave in and bought a new screen from an online dealer elsewhere just to get scammed in the end with a broken LCD screen which they refused to replace claiming I cracked it. So now I've purchased a new screen of eBay yet this one has issues too, it's thinner than the first one I got, but has the same problem where the ribbon doesn't appear to be aligned correctly either. This time however, I get some ugly dead pixels in the lower left corner of the screen and the rest is completely jumbled with white lines going through it. I've already contacted the seller for an exchange and am about to lose all hope getting this phone working. Anyway, back to the topic. Do the screens in the G705 vary from region to region or between versions? When I got it I found the phone was from Hong Kong (firmware was HK anyway.) though the manual and included paperwork suggested it was from France. The screens I have purchased seemed to have varying differences between either the thickness is too wide, the ribbon doesn't fit the correct position, or some other incompatibility. I bought this phone.

Apr 12, 2010Please help someone I have encountered my first Elm problem. Over night I charged the phone & this morning it's still charging & will not pass 66% charge. I took battery out put back in & charged with the phone off for another hour. When switched back on it was now @ 65% This was after another hour of charging with the phone off. I then did a master reset of all not just settings. Charged it up again for a further hour & still the charge is not increasing. Please help what the hell is going on? This battery has a mind of it's own. I have a feeling something has occured since I kept plugging & unplugging quite often the phone in & out of my pc. So maybe it's caused this I do not know. Please any suggestions this phone has been reliable upto this piont

Jun 6, 2015Today i booted up my phone (Z3) and saw that the screen is awkwardly milky and there are white "strings" on it. I can see everything and my phone is fully working. But that milky thing is annoying as **bleep** since i cant see any image as it is. already did factory reset it. Didnt change anything.
The phone is protected by tempered glass on the screen and the backcover. Its also protected by a rubbercase. It never fell to the ground and it never got wet. There is no damage on the phone. Not even a scratch.. The phone is 7 months old now. As you see i cant figure out why this is happening.. Here are some pictures:

Then I noticed the applications I had installed in the memory card are not longer displayed on the screen, and when I try to take a photo it says there is no memory card and that they will be stored in the phone's memory. Nov 29, 2015Every few days texting takes on a life of its own, starts randomly and rapidly composing nonsensical strings of letters and words which I cannot stop. The X/erase button does not work. Putting my finger within the text results in green trails. I must turn off or restart my phone to stop this behavior.
Have had the phone about 2 weeks; only added 2 apps - weather underground and pedometer which did not affect the phone at time of adding them.
I close my apps faithfully, having learned to do that when my phone started flashing webpages rapidly as well as the text feature going wonky.
Also, some text messages have to be downloaded to read them.

Oct 14, 2010I am having trouble with the GPS on my vivaz.The problem is that it seems to be having trouble finding the satellites and at best only picks up one, giving me a message that says "GPS works poorly indoors and in enclosed areas".I have had the phone for about two months now and it did work perfectly at first, I have fitted a zagg invisible skin to the phone and cannot recall if I had used the GPS with it fitted but have tried with the back cover removed and the invisible skin peeled back where the GPS sensor is located but to no avail. Can anyone help or is it a warrenty issue?

Jul 2, 2010I got my satio in may and didnt even have it for a month before things went wrong. firstly, i was never able to send a MMS to a virgin mobile phone. and then i wasnt able to send a text message to anyone. i called SE and they did all this stuff and called my carrier AT&T and nothing was wrong with my service because i put my SIM in my old phone and was able to send MMS and SMS. so SE said i had to send my satio in for repair(why they didnt just replace the phone i have no idea) and now i am waiting for parts. its been 2 weeks since i sent my phone in. and now i hear there isnt going to be another update? theres slight problems with this phone that if were fixed, it would beat the iphone and droid by a mile. i was just getting used to my satio and then i had to return it. they say i probably wont get it back until the 8th of july. thats just crazy in my opinion. why didnt they just replace the phone? when i looked into the satio as my new phone it looked so cool and when i got it i was so amazed by it. i even got a manuel in a different language, had to call SE and they said they wont send me an english manuel and that i should just look it up on their website since they update the software a lot...well apparently they dont since they havent updated it in months. to say the least, i am disapointed in SE with their future of the satio.
