Everytime I disconnect the phone for the charger or USB I get a message about how important it is to remove the cherger from the outlet to save the planet. How can't I get rid of the message?
View 2 RepliesMy c905 phone will not save the photo's from my phone to my computer.When I download the photo's, the amount of photo's comes up, however they do not stay or show the images, when I try to save them to my computer.This is only a recent as I have never had this problem before.

I have saved music on the card with an SD adapter on my computer and this is usable on the phone but sometimes disappears and says folder empty.Removing and replacing the memory card rectifies this but only for a short time.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI had to reprogram my K800i and lost all my settings. I've got it all set up except for the earpiece volume which is typically low in this model. The fix is to set it in the service menu. When I go to the secret service menu to raise the earpiece volume, it allows me to change it, I hit ok. If I go back, it is at the old level, not the one I just set.
So is it really not saving it or just going to a default level? If it is not saving it, what could be wrong? I have updated the service to the latest one and my phone is not a locked version. I would test it but it is midnight here and I don't wake anyone to have them give me a test call. (no land line either)
Can anyone tell me how to crop and save a personal video as a screensaver on my W995i? And does anyone know where I can get the walk mate application from?

When I try to go to the software updates on the W760a hompepage, it loads a blank page. It just says on the tab "Sony Ericsson Support Phones Topic Updateserviceapplication W760a", and loads a blank page. Please help me with this problem as I wish to continue using my new phone.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI don't know whether this problem is with the phone itself or whether this is a common problem, the screen goes black when left for a minute and when i try to unlock it i can't do anything at all, it doesnt even come up with the option to unlock the screen it just stays blank.I can receive calls when its black by pressing the green call button but i cannot look who it is or who is texting me. i have only had this phone for 4 days.

I dont know why buy my phone screen has started playing tricks on me, it either stays black (I can see that there is power to it but its not showing the normal screen), or it goes a bit muddled (lines though it, or it is off to the left or right, or only half screen is showing). Strangely, when it is staying black I can tell that it is working behind the scenes as if i tap the power button twice the screen powers off, then if i tap it again and press the bottom left it unlocks the screen (the screen looks like it has power but is still black) I can tell the phone is working as if i press the menu button it vibrates when i touch places where the menu options are. if i keep turning the phone off and on or locking and unlocking it will eventually work - but this can take anything from 1 attempt to 20 or 30 Then when the phone comes on properly it can go back to being black or garbled again in seconds or minuits, ocasionally hours.I got the phone less than a year ago (about 7 months - not long after it came out i think) - i have the box but no receipt.

last night while going to the movies,I grabbed my phone and noticed it was just showing vertical lines of colors. the phone still functioned.I'm pretty used to A200, that I could still navigate the phone, without seeing anything on the screen.I thought the phone was just bugging out at first, so I thought it was just my phone bugging out.I took out the battery and restarted it. unfortunately, the problem was permanently, and I was convinced it was a broken screen (although there were no cracks.I just left my phone sitting on a table overnight screen facing down. when I looked at it the next day, I noticed a small droplet of water on the inside of the glass. the drop is pretty tiny.I was wondering if anyone else had problem with moisture in their k800, specifically with the screen. I'm not sure if I need a new screen or a new phone. I'm afraid that the moisture just got into the LCD connector to the main board and now its all screwed up. im hoping the moisture may have just screwed with the LCD, so i can just replace it.as far as replacing goes, im stumped. where is my candybar c905, or why the heck doesn't the c901 have wifi. id love a fairly modern phone w/ a good camera/xenon flash/ and wifi. im pretty iffy as far as touch screens go. sholes tablet/motoroi looks really interesting though. should I hold out for MWC before I consider replacing?

View 2 Replies View RelatedAs the title implies, I need to ask if there are varying kinds of Sony Ericsson LCD screens for the G705 or if there are variations in models made. Nearly 6 months ago I bought a Sony Ericsson G705 phone off eBay that only needed a new LCD screen. Well I purchased a screen off eBaand was good to go except for a few minor issues...
1.) The LCD screen had a thicker screen/border than the original so I had to mod it by taking off the white border around it.
2.) The ribbon that connects the LCD screen to the G705's keypad wasn't aligned correctly causing it to disconnect from the keypad every so often. This too I had to fix by sticking some paper underneath where the connector sits. It worked after the modifications but the end result is the keypad was raised causing issues where pushing the up key would force it to push the left key too. Unfortunately after awhile the screen stopped working likely due to the fact the different layers were separating. I gave in and bought a new screen from an online dealer elsewhere just to get scammed in the end with a broken LCD screen which they refused to replace claiming I cracked it. So now I've purchased a new screen of eBay yet this one has issues too, it's thinner than the first one I got, but has the same problem where the ribbon doesn't appear to be aligned correctly either. This time however, I get some ugly dead pixels in the lower left corner of the screen and the rest is completely jumbled with white lines going through it. I've already contacted the seller for an exchange and am about to lose all hope getting this phone working. Anyway, back to the topic. Do the screens in the G705 vary from region to region or between versions? When I got it I found the phone was from Hong Kong (firmware was HK anyway.) though the manual and included paperwork suggested it was from France. The screens I have purchased seemed to have varying differences between either the thickness is too wide, the ribbon doesn't fit the correct position, or some other incompatibility. I bought this phone.
Got one problem, when calling, my ear always will touch some button on the screen,Hope Sony Ericsson can make some adjustment on next firmware.

BUT on the home screen there are lots of boxes for different things, can i alter these i.e remove them. i know how to add them but don't seem to be able to remove them . hope that all makes sense.

It came today and I refitted it but it is still like this which tells me this is not a hardware problem can someone shed some light on this please as I'm eager to get this phone working again.

You can see pictures of my screen attached with this post. I bought it from Asia when I was on vacation and brought it back to Canada with me. It is not covered under warranty in Canada. I've tried calling SE Canada and the repair facility and they refuse to fix it even though I told them I'm willing to pay for any charges. I know it's covered under warranty in Asia and I'm willing to ship it there to get it fixed but only as a LAST RESORT. Is there anyway I can fix it? Also, does anyone know if it's a software issue or a hardware?

The display goes blank at times. If you wait for an hour or so, it suddenly comes back up and works without any issue for several hours. Then, you wait for a little bit and the screen goes blank again. What do I need to do to resolve this issue?

I have to slide the display to unlock the phone. when i unlock the phone Menu items are automatically selected(some times sends a message to a contact some times calls a contact) without my intervention. I thought it as software problem and updated my vivaz pro via software update but to no use. Its behaving the same.I have set default settings in the phone settings. It has change all icons(shapes and colors) but phone's condition is same. Can any one please advise what should i do?
