Feb 10, 2012In Anna I could find pictures in file management in order to move/copy them to memory stick, but that seems to be not possible in Belle. Also the phone guide tells you can select where to save the pictures by going to Settings - Application settings - camera - Photo or Video. Unfortunately in my N8 Belle there is no possibility to select any folder for saving the pictures. So I can not find the new pictures anywhere to remove them from the phone without using computer.

Mar 18, 2012I have a problem with continuous playback of video, Before with Anna I couuld go into gallary and my pictures and video were all in same place, in proper order. Since Belle photos are in one folder and videos in another. If I want to share these by plugging into tv instead of clicking slide show I have to play each video and pict separate. Also is there a setting for how many sec the pic stays before switching to new one. My pictures have like a good 5 to 7 sec before switching to next photo.....seems too long. ultimately I would like to have my videos and pics all in one area so I can play them all at once

Feb 9, 2012I remember back when I upgraded from ^3 to Anna, my pictures got separated out to Photos & my videos were separated to Videos. I do not remember what I did (I think rearranged the files on my memory card) but somehow I got pictures & videos to show up under PhotosNow that I have upgraded to Belle, once again only photos shows up in Gallery. Anyone know how to get videos to show up there as well? I do not like how the previews are so small in Videos & all the detailed info is unnecessary when I am browsing

Dec 30, 2011i think i have done all the googling and forum-searching i can do and still no luck answering my question so i hope someone will help me here. I bought my e71 (straight talk) in march '11 and up until about 1 or 2 months ago you tube and other sites w/ flash video worked just fine. But one day i just started getting msgs popping up saying 'you need to upgrade adobe flash player to view this site' and this happens with every single website i've tried even sites that i had no problem with before. I'm assuming i have flash lite 3.0 from what i've read online but beyond that i have no idea what version firmware or anything my phone has and i can't find the info anywhere on my phone or how to update anything. My device manager says 'no server profile found' and i can't figure out how to make one, if that would even help. I'm completely lost. The main reason i bought this phone was because i wanted to watch videos online and i only had it about 8 months before it seemed to become obsolete! I read horror stories about bad firmware updates so if there is a way to just update flash player i would prefer to do that rather than the firmware update. So my simplified question(s) is/are what should i do and how do i do it? Flash player upgrade? System update? Firmware update? make a device server profile?

Sometime I carry with me a tape measure and I lay it along the lenght and/r height of the item just to get a rough measurement of the item's dimension.Is it possible for Nokia to develop a camera with a built-in measuring tape that shows up in the pictures taken? The measuring tape should be able to adjust to the distance between the camera and the object so that the actual dimension of the object is measured accurately. If I take a picture of crawling snake from 20 feet away the picture taken should be able to show the actual lenght of the snake.

Nov 7, 2012I have an N8 and haven't upgraded it to Bella. I can't access to my pictures in my phone. If I go to the pictures gallery and select albums it says "837 captured items" but when I select the file it shows nothing, it says "no images or video clips"!!!.
I know they are in E:
but when I use File manager and enter to E: I can't open the images file, it says "unable to open, file not supported". I don't know what to do, I don't have the cable to connect my phone to my computer and even if I had it I cannot enter to Ovi suite because I have a Mac.
Nokia Nseries :: Upgrade N8 To BELLE?
Jun 18, 2012I own a N8 for 1 and half years and very happy with it. I did not upgrade to Belle because I read lots of people that were not satisfied and wanted to go back to Anna.
Problems I read in the forum in various discussions:1) Camera performance in low light has deteriorated, I love my N8 mainly because of the camera
2) Battery life is worse
3) Applications will be lost and I will need to reinstall them all , plus could never get back the Nokia ones I had free through offers
4) The useful and effective Nokia clock/calendar/profile switcher has been showed the door in favor of a Andoid-style clock
5) Widgets are worse or less effective: the email and music widgets are very big that I don't think I will be very happy wasting lots of space with no alternative.
6) Widgets do not change with theme, I have my nice Anna email/music and other widgets that gets transparent or just adapt to the Theme I choose, I haven't seen that on Belle. That ugly email widget for example is always the same , white on blue.
So basically I feel that I give up lots of useful and efficient features just in order to get a OS that is more fluid , has more homescreens and I can move the widgets and shortcuts around??
I have looked around the forum and there are still people not satisfied but most comments are now old.
