When I send a file from a phone or computer it goes straight to my inbox and the pictures and videos will save to my gallery but there is no option for me to save songs, yet it will let me set them as a ringtone. Any help please?

On my old 6303 it could be found at Menu--->Messaging---->Message Settings--->General Settings--->Save sent messages Yes/No This option does not appear to be present on this model. I have had phone re-flashed to the latest generic firmware, 07.10, so it is not a software issue (or so I think).

All it seems to be allowing me to do is sych either entire library or cerain albums, artists and genres (ie not songs). I recently upgraded to iphone 4s, didnt' have this problem with previous iphone.

It came with a verizon sim but im using it with another sim now. Is this a sim problem? I can make calls and get messages and otherwise the phone works fine.
I typed in full email address in "To" field and then some text in the body. When ready to send, I press that "Menu" button and got a list of options on the left-hand side. Everything except "Send" Can only save as draft. However,
(1) if I go to contact list first and select someone's email then I can send. No problem.
(2) also, SMS provides "send" option so no issue there either.
(3) receiving emails works fine.
Did "resend service books" numerous times and battery pull too.
I have my gallery connected to my picasa account, however I can not seem to find the option to save an image from my online gallery to my phone. Is this possible? Am i just blind?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Torch 9850 and when I used to send pics to a friend through BBM they would get the option to preview, save or cancel; in turn, I would receive the same option. When I clicked "save" it would download the full 1-2MB version of the pic in BBM, saving it to my picture folder. Yesterday they bought the same phone (Torch 9850) and now when either of us send a pic, neither of us have the option or are given the opportunity to download the actual picture file?!? We simply get a low quality 30KB image with no option other than to go to the BB file menu and click "save" which saves not the full high quality image, but the 30kb one we just received.

Whenever I try to sync my playlists onto my MotoACTV from Itunes only half of the songs make it. I received a message stating that "662 files are protected" so they did copy over. How do I unprotect those songs? I have looked in Itunes and cannot find out how.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have songs in m4a format and while playing albums some songs get skipped. It happens in two situations. Some songs cannot even be played manually, the player shows correct song length and all meta data from song but then it just skips when starts to play and just does that permanently for some songs from same album. Another situation is when the player jumps to next song in album and then I see for a moment WLAN icon showing up and then the song gets skipped. When I manually play this song it plays OK. Any idea?

Now I am having a problem setting songs as ring tones, my previous phone was easy select song goto options, set as ring tone done. Now unless I am being thick I just cant seem to do this new X6 as east as that as far as I can tell you have to go via settings...Personal...Profiles...Options... Personalize.. Ringing Tone. Then yo have to scroll the WHOLE SONG LIST.
Also I have downloaded songs via Nokia and I can't seem to use those as a set ring tone(when I eventally find them!!!) says thay are locked. Somebody help me it is driving me up the flippin wall.
