View 2 Repliesgetting very frustrated with this now. I have given my dad my N95 to help him get around but just cant get the map navigation to work. I downloaded the Nokia Map Loader (I had to go to a third party website as the Nokia links were all broken) and have the map/voices but when my dad tries to use the navigation it tells him he has to pay.Obviously, I know that Nokia have now made these services free to complete with other company's devices, I'm just being stupid and not going to the right place to download them. When i go to www.nokia.com/maps on the phone it doesnt do anything. I've been trying for over a day now and the phone has almost made contact with the wall a few time

I have tried to remove the older version of maps that was on my phone but instead of being uninstalled, the icon of Ovi Maps was only vanished from the Applications' list without actually being removes from the phone; I can still access it using a shortcut I had made.

I made a hard reset to N8 running Symbian Anna 25.07 and I'm unable to install Nokia Maps. Software Updater doesn't show any Maps related updates, I cant find any installer in Nokia Store, installation of Ovi Maps 3.06 and Nokia Maps 3.08 found on the Internet fails as well.

I had free navigation but my license has not expired so I would like to install the free update. ANYWAY, I was using the GPS when it failed on me and decided to restore my phone. After doing that, I tried to install maps and now my phone tells me that there is not enough space on my phone. I says it needs well over 3000MBs of space. My memory card has at least that much on it. How do I get Maps to download onto my memory card?
What else could I do? I don't think my phone has enough memory with nothing installed on it to get all of the USA (but I had it all on my phone before I restored it, in addition to Mexico and Canada).
I have been in Kuwait for four months now. I have used Nokia maps without any problem. But a few days ago, i was updating Kuwaiti map and voice guidance via Nokia suite and I lost both the msp snd the voice guidance. I tried to download them through Nokia suite but with no success. View 9 Replies View RelatedI just received a Lumia 900 and updated to the latest firmware and am having troubles downloading maps on nokia drive, both on the 2.0 and now 3.0. It says I need to be on wifi to download, however I am on wifi and I can access the web, email and every other function on my phone, except download maps on Nokia Drive as it doesn't recognize I am online on wifi however drive does work only it updates the map in realtime so I can't use the maps offline as it does not allow me to download offline maps. When I uninstall drive and then reinstall the app I can download from the maps for countries that do not have regions such as hong kong, however if I select US or China, a large country where you have to select the region the region/state page is blank. I have already tried soft and hard resetting to no avail and also tried different wifi networks with the results.

I would like the users of my application to use maps in offline mode.
So If I use Nokia Ovi Suit , it will take hours to download all the maps (approx 9 GB of data)..more importantly ovi suit refuses to download maps if my phone is not connected to the pc.
Is there a way I can download the maps as a zip file or something from my pc and then later install them on my phone? If yes..where can I find the downlaod links? I am using an E7-00 with Symbain Anna update (round icons..cool!!)
i want to buy an app but when processing payment it says there is an error. Evthng is ok with the credit card, I use it all the time and al the filling data is ok, so i dont understand this error, besides, now ive been charged 2 dollars from the ovi store but dont know why because that isnt even the price of the app i tried to buy.

I live in a small town in Denmark that is extremely popular with foreign tourists, and a good few of our bars, restaurants and cafes have either changed ownership/name or closed. None of the new places are on City Lens, whereas most of the old ones still are (several closed more than 18 months ago).
Just because I want to, I'd like to be able to download the entire Ovi maps database - every detail of every corner of the Earth, not just all the cities/countries available in Nokia Software Updater, which I've already gotten. I figure that if all the roadways of every country in the world only occupy about 7-8GB on my 32GB drive, adding the terrain of the remaining unpaved/uninhabited regions of the world shouldn't add that much more.Or, at least less than I have available room on my drive.

After update I decided to update my Maps too. But during update it said " no internet connection" and stopped to update process. There were no internet connection loss at that time because I was surfing internet. I tried again. View 4 Replies View RelatedI recently got a nokia 7210 supernova for my '3 mobile' sim but I can't send any MMS. When I try it comes up with the message "multimedia message settings not defined. Message not sent." I've looked in the user manual and that's told me to come here and download free configuration settings but I can't find that on here. I also read somewhere to go to my server website and download settings from there (in my case three) which I did but I can't access them because it comes up with the message "invalid web settings" which I also don't know how to fix?is there any chance of getting help or am I better off calling someone?

From what I can see on the Ovi Store, you can download it by the "Send to mobile" button.Is there a way to download it into PC first and install from PC into the phone?
