I have just bought nokia n97 but when i am writing sms its going very slow. im writing carahcter and the phone is coming after me. and also when i wanna use navigation to find a place, the phone is giving warning that "gps is waiting" but gps is not connection.. does somebody can help me about it? i try to find a software update to fix it but i could not find it also..
View 4 RepliesMy Torch runs slow most of the time especially when I am writing a text the words take at least 2 to 4 seconds to go on the screen. Also to change screen takes some time as well. Apps open slow as well. I have sufficient free internal memory not much apps just what I need to use, not much for games. What do you think may be going on with this unit. Also I try to connect to BB desktop to get updates if any and back up as frequent as possible, even battery pulls to get a clean restart.

connecting through 3g is fine, but wifi is a no go. the phone does recognise my network, just doesn't connect to the internet.

I have noticed that my phone is very slow connecting to the Internet when it first turns on or after it has been sitting for awhile. It takes about a minute or so for it to finally get going it just hangs there at first. Some sites take longer than others but they all do it. Once it grabs its good until you set it down again
View 10 Replies View RelatedI bought an Xperia Ray last Saturday because my HTC Salsa was struggling to connect and stay connected to my home wifi and also had internal memory problems (not enough internal memory)..Now I'm having different wifi problems with the Ray.It connects but the connection is very slow although nothing else is accessing the wifi and when my husband connects with his Samsung Galaxy it is fine and very fast. Every time the screen light goes out (set to every 10 mins at the moment) it seems to drop the wifi connection and when I "wake " it again it has just the mobile connection but starts to connect again straight away, unfortunately this is not fast.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI don't have a nokia store any close to my place, so I cannot deal with it. It is this annoying mixed up letters when I'm writing. So what happened was that I updated my software on my nokia n97 min to 30.0.004. After the update , when I went to write a message , most of the letters are mixed up - if I press A it's Q and so on..It's really difficult using my phone since all it's messed up, and even worst- if I go on the web browser they are even more messed up then when I am writing a message. I really have no idea what to do. I already reinstalled the software at least 10 times but the same problem is coming over and over again. I don't understand why, when I did it trough Ovi suite, so it is supposed to be the right software. Is there any another place where I can download the software manually and install it manually?

I've got a little problem with my nokia X7 since I've updated it to symbian Belle. Sometimes an error window appear with this message "error in the writing of the disc. Retry or data will be lost" an then I've got two buttons "retry" or "Stop" but no matter what I do window doesn't disappered. I tried to re-install Belle but nothing has changed. When I conned microSD to my computer a window appear telling that data in storage are damaged or corrupt but windows can't repair it.

My phone has gotten to where when I am typing a text message it'll get so slow and almost freeze up and just stop and I got to wait and let it come back before I finish. I am running .131 on my Alltel 8330. Also, the 507 error I believe it is, happens to me a lot & I have had to completely reinstall the whole OS so many times. My battery doesn't really last very long at all. It doesn't compare to many that I hear about & my signal just isn't that great. Sometimes it runs good & won't really be that slow or lag but these past couple days it has been lagging bad & even with scrolling. Memory is NOT an issue I can reboot up with 45 & it'll go down to around 39 throughout the day.
I've tried .127 OS that my phone came with, used .131, used a hybrid before and tried .169 but the notification problem is too annoying.

When i go to Keyboard settings and "Use my writing style", under "My Words" there are none! And I've typed them many times. Tried "Learn from Gmail" and "Learn from Messaging" still none. When typing word by word and also gesture typing, none of my words come up. Why is that happening? I've tried to clear data from Xperia Keyboard app an set it up again, but no luck.
