May 15, 2010I have recently bought an E71 in Oman, where I work and live, with an Arabic/English keyboard.There is so much squashed on each key (and the English bit was so small) that I have decided to change to an English only keyboard.I have done this at a cost of 15GBP whilst visiting Dubai.It works fine except that some of the keys do not now create on screen what is pressed on the keyboard.For example if i press the '?' or the 'Full stop' is not where it should be.In other words the phone still thinks that i have an Arabic / English keyboard and not an English only keyboard.Its like an American and UK 'PC' keyboard. The @ is located in different places for example.I believe that I need to change a setting or add some software.Can any one advise (simply) what I need to do to correct this issue if possible.links to software, instructions etc.

Mar 8, 2010I have been trying to backup (Applications>Office>FileManager>Backup) my N97 mini since I got it due to the large number of hard resets being reported. have set it up to backup every Monday, but the problem is when Monday comes around it says there isn't enough space where i'm trying to backup to (it is automatically set to c: drive) I mean I have barely installed anything on to the c: drive, but I knew this would never be big enough for it anyway, but there isn't a way to change the directory. Whats more is when I try and do a manual back up it asks me if I want to use the f: drive but I don't have a memory card in it so that won't work either. Does anyone know if it is possible to change it to save the backup to the e: Mass Memory drive (which has nearly 7GB free if you're wondering)

What baffles me - in the manual I can't find how to change the start-up screen (Nokia) or better, how to block it. This was possible with my old one, but with this one?
To make matters even more complex.it used to be a T-Mobile model (I'm no T-Mobile subscriber) and the menu differs even from the (very short) manual.

Jan 23, 2010I am change the menu to my phone to a left hand side bar, which I found very usefull, especially it gave me an extra icon than when the icon bar is on the top. I can change the shortcut from the menu fast enough, but can't change the icons under. Any body know the settings for it in the phone ? I tried to look in the profile etc.... can't see it.

Is it possible to change the location of these apps to the phone memory without having to re-install?
iPlayer is not a problem but I only have 1 download available from the ovi store for the games (due to phone crazyness)
There is a rather annoying 'feature' whereby if I remove the SD card or plug the usb in mass storage mode; the home screen application icons disappear. Most of the time they will return when the SD is re-inserted or the usb removed. Occasionally they do not return & I have to set them up again.

Oct 4, 2012I cannot understand why a phones camera software does not allow the user to lower the resolution below the max resolution.The Lumia 710 only allows 5MP res. in 4:3 format. WHY?? Jun 5, 2010My name is Ivo and I,m from Bulgaria. I bought Nokia 6303 two months ago. The phone has 20MB memory (inside) and 1GB SD Card. So, may be you know that there are themes for nokia (s40) with .swf calendars and clocks. I,ve downloaded some and put them into the card.
But when I activate a theme the free space in my inside memory decreases. I had 5,5MB free space and when I activated a theme, it became lower (2,4MB). I tried several themes and my free space became 0MB. Now in Memory Status it's written: Telephone Memory: 11MB, Free: 0MB. So, I think that these .swf clocks from the themes are saved in my phone memory, but I cannot delete them, I can't see them. Can anyone tell me how to find them and delete them. Now I can't change my themes. It says: There is no free memory, deleta something!
I,ve read in another topic about "hard reset" with some of the phone keys. Can anyone tell me how to make this on Nokia 6303?
