My name is Ivo and I,m from Bulgaria. I bought Nokia 6303 two months ago. The phone has 20MB memory (inside) and 1GB SD Card. So, may be you know that there are themes for nokia (s40) with .swf calendars and clocks. I,ve downloaded some and put them into the card.
But when I activate a theme the free space in my inside memory decreases. I had 5,5MB free space and when I activated a theme, it became lower (2,4MB). I tried several themes and my free space became 0MB. Now in Memory Status it's written: Telephone Memory: 11MB, Free: 0MB. So, I think that these .swf clocks from the themes are saved in my phone memory, but I cannot delete them, I can't see them. Can anyone tell me how to find them and delete them. Now I can't change my themes. It says: There is no free memory, deleta something!
I,ve read in another topic about "hard reset" with some of the phone keys. Can anyone tell me how to make this on Nokia 6303?
I cann't find the updated maximum microSD memory card size for the Nokia 6303 Classic phone. All the spec's sites and documentation list 4GB as the maximum, but I'm using an 8GB card without any problems. (After downloading fireware update)
I would like to upgrade to a higher size either 16GB or better still 32GB. But before heading out and buying a card I would like to know if anyone has tried using these cards with this handset before successfully.
I cannot change my theme on my Neo V. More so, I cannot even access the Phone Memory on my computer over USB even through PC Companion. Sad!!!! (But I can access the folders on the phone though using few applications like ASTRO) Is there a way I can change my default themes (apart fropm those shity Blue, Orange, Sunflower. Can I access my Phone memory over my computer through this oudated PC Companion? (Nokia was sooooo much better.
I have searched and cant find an answer to this. I am using HTC M9 and using custom themes. Some themes show a custom dialer, most of the time it is just a cool color. When I apply the theme, all aspects of the theme get applied except for the dialer. It stays basic default white.
Since that didn't work, I went to themes.htc.com and made my own. Published it, downloaded to my phone via the themes app and applied. Again all aspects applied except the dialer I made.
I contacted HTC support and they have no answers. I've searched online, I've found no answers.

I recently got a new E63 phone & am struggling to get my contacts right. The problem is the default contact location is phone memory and though i have copied the contacts to phone memory, if there is any incoming call or sms, the name doesnt appear even though i would have that persons contact stored.
Is there any way to change the default location to memory card? I go to Communication -> contacts -> Options -> Settings and the only option available is Phone & Contacts. Currently the default is phone. If i change to contacts, it asks for sign in. Kindly assist.
i want the memory card to be default in the phone, so that i can just put all my music on it and forget about it. at the moment i use ovi player but this just puts it on the mass media memory, therefore filling it up quickly. is there a setting in either the phone or the application to put memory card as default?
I have to admit that I been in love with my C5-03 since the first time I saw it. But unfortunately, the phone gave me real hard time.
1- I can't change the message memory to memory card. It works for a while, and then an error message pops out, statimg that "memory card not found" and that the phone will revery the message memory to phone memory.
2- The phone memory is almost full. I have 11.4 MB left, and I don't know what's filling the memory. I have 3 apps installed, 1 MB each, besides the default apps. Browsing the memory was of no help: almost all folders are empty. I tried emptying the browser's cache, but 11.4 MB is all I could have.
3- Nokia store and the web browser give me the "memory full" message after a couple of minutes of browsing, and then they close automatically, making them almost useless.
4- The battery life is not impressive. I have to charge the phone every 1-2 days even with light usage (15 min of calls, no Wi-Fi or music playing).
I love the phone and I've been having it for 6 months now.I have installed the latest firmware 2 months ago (v.20.0.024, version date 25-05-2011.
I'm looking for a car kit that supports 5800 XpressMusic and 6303 Classic. Can I get the nokia 6303 classic to work with the car kit CK-600? I imagine the screen would make the use easier. If not the CK-300 should work with both phones, right?
is it possible to add a folder to player's playlist? I mean, not select from list of artists or albums but just add a whole folder from my memory card? If there is no such thing in the player, may be there is a third party player application which can do that?
I have Nokia 6303 classic mobile. I updated my firmware version to 10 . I have downloaded gprs settings from my operator and i can browse internet from nokia mobile browser but when i am using opera mini to connect to internet it is not and saying connection error. I use third party applications like fring, mobile banking application they too can't connect to internet.
Does anyone know how to get a free navigation licence for 6303 now that ovi maps are free? My phone has pre-installed nokia maps, but navigation is not free.
For ten days I've been trying to get the maps for Europe on my 4 GB SD card. With the larger country files the DL stops between 40% and 99,3 % (Yes indeed) There obviously is no resume function on the Nokia Server nor inside the Maps Downloader (like FTP servers do have) thus I have to start all over again. It took a lot of patience and even more luck as well. For some countries I had to retry 17 times and for about 1 GB of country files my DU-meter indicates a 5 GB DL traffic. By now I have almost all European countries except: England 89,5 MB (Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland are OK) Finland (of all countries!) 91,5 MB Poland 71,2 MB
It makes no difference whether I start downloading maps from the PC-Suite or directly under Windows XP (SP3). Two weeks ago I had the same problem with another 6303 which I returned to the webshop. The original 1 GB SD card on both models has the same download problem. Some voice files DL's were OK. The LD-4W did find my 'Current location' and I could save. Adresses of friends in Holland and in Spain were found easily.
Data: Phone: Nokia 6303 classic (Map version 0.0.13h) This 6303 runs SW v.10.10 in PC-Suite mode via USB cable. I had NP with the SW update from v.9.10 (out of the box) to v.10.10, but v.9.10 had the same problem. Map Loader version 3.0.28.0 PC-Suite version 7.1.40.1
Posting on behalf of my brother who got a nokia 6303 with vodafone uk in november 2009.He previously has had a nokia 6300 phone with o2.
He has had trouble sending texts to US from UK (the texts are not getting to US person). Tried several things that vodafone have suggested and nothing has worked - today he is out to collect a new sim card from them. And if that fails, its a problem with phone.
I have tried to do an update to the firmware (vodafone suggested trying) but the version on the phone is 8.* something and nokia pc suite (OVI suite and nokia updater) software all say its the latest one available so no update possible.
I have googled to see some pages mentioning version 10.10 for nokia 6303 - if that exists, its not updating the phone when I try.
So really have no idea why international texting is not working with this phone. The o2 sim was also tried in the phone and it too failed to send the international text even the sim works and sends texts ok in other phones.
Where is the call history in registry in this phone? Updated to latest firmware - 10.10 and still there isn't.I also have simple Nokia 1209 model and there is this feature. Can someone help?
I have a nokia 6303. I was wondering if anyone who owns this phone hears a high pitch noise when you put it against your ear. I keep hearing this high pitch noise on my phone everytime i make calls and recieve calls. I also hear the high pitch noise when i have the phone next to my ear even when not making calls. Does anyone else have this problem with their nokia 6303?? or is this phone just made this way?
I had samsung before.Samsung has this great feature in phone-reject list. One number which is calling me 2-3 times per day was in reject list in my samsung.Samsung broke down,I bought Nokia 6303.I'd really like to reject this number again but can't seem to find how to do it?Can someone help with this, please?I don't want to change my number because of one annoying number.

I used PC Suite (latest version) with a bluetooth connection between a Nokia 6310i and a Compaq nx8220 laptop computer. No problem at all. Than I bought a Nokia 6303 Classic and tried to connect to the laptop. The PC Suite software does not recognize the 6303. The same problem with OVI Suite, which works with the 6310i. The Nokia 6303 connects with my Nokia 610 Car Kit, without any problem. I re-installed the PC Suite Software without any result. When I replace the 6303 with the 6310i again, than it works OK.
