The camera application is not starting on my n70.Every time it shows " unexpected error occured, power off the device and restart."But restarting does not solving the problem.

the Camera Application starts but the shot button (optical mouse) does not allow me to take pictures as it is light grey. I can select options, I can go to gallery, I can geotag, choose flash, Picture mode...but not take pictures. the same applies to Video Camera. It shows all black on display..

Is there any convenient way to simply establish a connection to the internet (either WiFi or 3G) without starting an application? I know there's an icon labelled "Internet" but it's actually the browser, not a simple means to connect to the Internet.
If this isn't supported by the E51 directly, maybe there's software that can get it done?
Soon after update software to 40.0.005 (Russian language 40.0.005.05.01) my photo camera stopped working (nothing was change in software set which I am using).When I press camera button it becomes to start (red sign is appeared in up right corner of screen) but camera application is not loaded and nothing is happened (red sign is disappeared this time). Second button press doesn't have any effect.

View 4 Replies View RelatedHad my 1020 for almost a year now. No issues. Has all latest updates. Last update was sometime back. Had it in my shirt pocket while cycling fir two hours and it was running sports tracker.
I have done this twice a week since I had the phone and no issues. Last night finished ride and took phone out of pocket to see camera led light on. Turned sports tracker off. Tried soft reset. Had a hard time getting it to reset.
Screen was blank/black after reset and took multiple tries to get phone on and working. Finally got phone working but led light still wont go off and camera wont start. Tried starting camera with button and through multiple camera aps with no luck.
After the 8.1 Cyan update, the camera randomly starting up while you're using the phone? I'm positive I didn't push the camera button. I'm seeing this behavior on my unlocked Lumia 1520.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI'm a newbie at Crackberry, but reading and learning since i got my BB, but got my account today because i really need help. Since a few days i have some strange problems with my BB Curve 8900;
- E Key is broken
- Alt Key is only functioning when using it in single use (so not possible anymore to hold the ALT key and type the symbols at the same time).
- Right Convenience key is not starting the camera anymore. I don't think its broken, because when my BB is asleep, and when i start pushing the right convenience key the screen does light up.
I tried a battery pull, but it doesn't solved my problems. I don't have any warranty anymore. So anyone with solutions, does a upgrade of the OS maybe works?
I bought a x10 mini pro this week and the same day the phone arrived i updated to 2.1 with SE PC Companion software. I didn´t noticed if this happens to 1.6 duo to the short usage of this droid version.
Every time i starts the camera application or any application that uses the camera (like Google goggles for example), the phone aparently crashes and suddenly reboot. After the reboot, the camera used to work for the first times but about aprox 30 min. or less that the phone has been rebooted, when i try to start the camera, the phone crashes and restarts again.
I´ve tried to Repair the phone in pc Companion software and the issue continues the same.
About 5 times now, when I double tap the home button to open the camera, the phone vibrates and the viewfinder "distorts". By distorts, the best way I can describe it, is think of the surface of a lake and a slight breeze creating tiny waves. This lasts for about 3 to 8 seconds and then all is fine. Or, if I don't want to wait, I can go home and come back to the camera. Also there seems to be a slight audio tone like a "hmmmmmm" but I can't tell if it's actual audio out of the speaker or from the material of the phone because of the vibrating. It has only happened about 5 times, this just started 3 days ago and it seems to be happening more frequently.

My question is that is it normal to hear such sound or something is worng with my camera hardware. This sound is coming siince I have purchased the mobile, but never took it serously though I am afraid now if its a hardware problem.Also is there any way to improve the image quality, I can see that the by default Android camera app store all the images with 90% quality, can we make it 100%.

This happens specially when the applicatons that scan barcodes are used ("AT&T Code Scanner", "OK Scan"), but not exclusively. Among the apps bringing the camera to a crash there are some of good reputation, like for example "Perfectly Clear". In the emergency mode the camera works OK.

The support advised me to clear the data for the camera (Applications menu) and restart the phone. No dice, so they advised to reset the phone to factory defaults. I did it twice, due to after the first time I found exactly which apps caused the problem. It took me a day to restore everything to the original state .

Afterwards, the camera was stuck by "Perfectly Clear", a decent app written by a "Best programmer". I was depressed.

However, there is a solution: simply clearing all the apps running in the background (["three permanent keys in the bottom" | "two rectangles" | clear all], or [an icon with a green brush]). This works without a restart.
When I select the camera function on my phone I get the message 'Another application is using the camera. Could not start the camera. Close other applications and try opening the camera again'I have tried removing the battery and sim and replacing it, but the problem continues.

A couple of days ago the Nokia Map 3.0 program just failed to start.
Earlier the same day it worked fine. But suddenly just the startscreen loads and disappears. I've tried to reinstall the map program. I've tried to reset the phone to the original factory settings, but the problem persists.
In this process I have lost most of my settings for voip, email, and more, so now it is less work to buy a new, non-nokia phone, than to get this **bleep** set up again. Both the N85 and N82 have been very unstable and with poor support from nokia.
Of course this happened at the most inconvenient moment, for Nokia, since I'm about to buy new phones for my family. I hope I can get a good answer from Nokia, on how I can get the map and phone working again.

View 14 Replies View RelatedI've had the Lumia 920 for about a week and a half now without any problems, and after the complimentary wireless charger came in, I used it. But now some of my phone's basic apps will not start. When I tap them, it shifts to a black screen (time still visible at the top right), and after a couple of seconds of nothing happening, the phone brings itself back to the start screen. Apps that still work are one's I've downloaded myself from the store and Music+Videos, but just to name a couple, apps like Messaging, Camera, Calculator, Calendar, Contacts, Settings, Mail, Internet Explorer, all give me the problem I've described.
I've tried turning the phone off and on several times, including a soft reset, but no luck.
I have not tried a hard reset yet as I was hoping there might be a solution without having to resort to that.
I have had this phone since December 2009. There have been no problems of this occuring until today; my phone just turned off suddenly and will not turn on again. I would press and hold the power button as if to turn it on, it would vibrate and the center light would light up as it always does, but it just stays stuck on a white screen and will not go any further than that.
