I am trying to download music from OVI PLAYER.I have got a 1 year subs license since i bought and X6 and it comes with it.
The problem that i am facing it cannot download a song and the error message given is THE NETWORK CONNECTION TO THE MEDIA SERVER COULD NOT BE MADE.

Please refer to Troubleshooting guide in Help".I have made a complaint on 30-Jul and still not able to download any music because of the pathetic service of Nokia I have lost more than 5-6 weeks till now (Including the same issue which I faced in March). My Subscription will end in another months time.

Has around 365 songs in it now but when i add new ones it doesn't see them.Have tried refresh, trashed the databases etc. Reformated the card and loaded them back bit by bit and that worked and then added 9 new ones - that worked. Played it this morning for a few hours and tried to ad some more. Doesn't see them in the refresh. Card is a Sandisk 4gb - should be good - no bad sectors etc

View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm using Nokia 701 with music player version 17.2.17 I've around 700 songs in my memory card. In music player, I see the sorting in the order: (i) Artist & then (ii) Album be specific artist. That's okay.
But when I open the album, I see the songs in any random order. They are not sorted alphabetically.
I had a similar issues on " General: System Error " Music file unable to save on music library the second one is corrupted music file unable to deleted on music library.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have upgraded the firmware from v31.0.101 to v50.0.005 and I had the unpleasent surprise to find that the music player is no longer working. It plays only the files stored in the phone memory and is unable to update the library. It shows music files on the memory card that were deleted longtime ago and refresh library does not change anything: always shows refresh complete 0 files added. When I connect the phone to the PC, the Ovi Player doesn't see the phone and even the device manager shows that there is a problem with the portable device (conneced in PC Suite or Media Transfer modes). Done even a hard reset but nothing has changed except that it has lost the applications it had in the phone memory.

I sometimes like to just randomize it all but I DONT like to listen to ringtones mixed in with all the music. The performance is better than before, but I encountered a problem that really annoying me.I love listening to music. It's everything for me. But now the music player can't detect new music files, even it's imported from a blue tooth connection. After I save it from the inbox, sometimes it said "General : System Error". The files is inside the memory card, but can't be detected by the music player although I refresh the music library. The same thing happened when I import some music files from the computer using Nokia PC Suite. In the library, there is the artist's name or the album's name, but after I clicked it, there isn't any music files inside. What happened actually with the music player?About the memory card, I got it from the phone package. It's 2 GB, and still has approx. 130 MB free. Is it the memory card or the update?
