I send a message to my friend in her nokia phone but when she recieved it,a different text message appeared,it looks like a code with no spacing it cant be read..i just wanted to ask if this case really happen sometimes,what seems to be the problem?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Nokia E71 just update to the firmware 410.21.010. I did not recovered backup after the upgrade and I formatted the memory card, so it's completely clean.
Now, Nokia Email has appear as new included application so I would like to use it, but when I configure my email account (form a supported services: ovi, gmail, etc...), the wizard only configures my mobile for the typical IMAP client. It's strange, because I have a different E71 also update to this same firmare and Nokia Messaging works fine and creates the Nokia Messaging account.How could use Nokia Messaging with my E71?. Is there some way to create a Nokia Messaging account form the web instead from the phone?.
Just yesterday I was texting and as i was typing my phone started to put random spacings into my text. It then spazzed out and put 10 spaces consistantly in the message. i tried to turn it off and then restart it but it wouldn't turn back on...

View 6 Replies View RelatedMy N73 worked correctly until 3 week ago,suddenly i see when i press button 2, it write 7 ! and continue whit 887734... !then i reset it by code " *#7370# " but problem not solved !i tried 3rd time but the problem was existing yet !Then I opened the keypad and clean it, and restarted again,it worked and all of keys was correct. i set a lock code, and it was working true,until yesterday. Since yesterday, it didn't work , I get my IMEI to a site, and it gives me a ten digit code that calls master code, and said if I enter this code instead of my forgotten code ( I didn't forget it,it didn't work) it will accept by phone. But when I enter the master code it says "code error" too. I tried to hardware reset , but when i hold 3,* & green buttons and turn it on, phone asks me "continue using the phone in offline mode? " (it asks since when i tried to enter deference codes for several times), and i should to answer this and press other keys instead of these 3 buttons, so it didn't work too, I opened it key pad and clean again,but it couldn't help.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have commented on this many times.. Am I the only one that is seeing this happen.. It doesn't always do it but it will do it in the stock browser and Dolphin HD to.. Instead of the cursor moving backwards to remove misspellings it moves forward.. I've yet found a browser that works with G-Mail properly..Stock browser looks like i'm in a mobile mode but no longer see the dbug function any more.. It looks the same on the browser as using the gmail stock app that came with the Xoom... I hate it.. Not a real Gmail experience to me, too many functions missing.. Anyone have any suggestions as to seeing and using gmail on the Xoom as it would look and perform on the laptop.. HD Browser won't even allow me to reply to an email.. It won't pop up the keyboard no matter what i try, looks good on the browser untill you touch something then everything starts shaking and jerking around
View 4 Replies View RelatedIve been having an issue with the keyboard, where sometimes if i press the space bar, it seems to think i'm holding it, and will first put a period at the end of whatever word i added, then continue spacing untill the next line. It either does this, or will not space at all. Both seem to be sparatic, and i dont notice anything in connection with when it happens yet, but its happened quite alot, and seems to have been happening more the past two days.

View 17 Replies View RelatedI have Yahoo on my iPhone, right? When I read an email in my Yahoo account on my iPhone, and later log into my Yahoo account, it shows those messages as read. Heck, I can even file my emails away in my folders, if I want to; i.e. move them over to my bills folder, or my purchases folder, or my mom folder.Now, here's the deal with my other account tho. I have my work emails going to my iPhone too. At work, I use Outlook. I do not know a whole lot about how things are set up over here, but I have access to answers if you guys can help me find out the right questions to ask. When I read a work email on my iPhone, and I get to work the next morning, there it is, bold and unread. I really want it to show as read. I get an obnoxious amount of work emails. The whole point in keeping up with them on my phone is to save me time in the long run. So, when I get to work and have to re-read them all, I've saved nothing. View 4 Replies View RelatedI have an unusual issue I would like some assistance on since I just got a blackberry, I have the Curve 2 8530. I use Total Call Blocking with my carrier so that when I call anyone my number is automatically blocked / restricted. Therefore, in my contact list, I have my friends or family contacts listed with the *82 in front of the number to unblock for those people. This works fine for phone calls.
However, on Text Messaging / Picture Messaging, the *82 will cause these messages to fail. I am used to LG phones, you have the ability to edit the number while creating a message, before your send one of these messages. The problem I am having is when I send a Text Message / Picture Message it appears from the blackberry as only the 10 digit number (even though the contact has *82 in front of it)...and the message shows it is sent (with the check mark) but it NEVER received.
I get an error code come up when trying to syn my calender code is 0x80040fb3.

It does go lower than the 9th attempt. I already tried rebooting it and factory resetting it and the phone it goes back to the 10th attempts and again it doesn't go any lower the the 9th attempt.

I'm still trying to get my NM to connect by wi-fi but I can't do it. I tried deleting my gmail mailbox and and setting it up as an "Other" account (as I read this on some other forum) but that did not work either.
I am only able to connect by MMS.
I would really like to be able to connect by wi-fi so that when roaming overseas etc I can use NM without crazy data charges.
Has anyone done it?

I think disk encryption it's an excellent feature. I use it in my laptop, but the main problem is: how can I read the encrypted disk in another environment? I have my E71 8GB MicroSDHC encrypted by the phone. it works excellent, but there's a catch: E71 it's USB 2.0 but doesn't mean it supports High-Speed. It only supports Full-Speed so the transfers must be sticked at 1MB/sec. Obviously, after encrypting my SDHC, I cannot extract from the cellphone and try to read in a computer, like I did before. My SDHC is Class 6, so the 15MB/sec transfer is wasted. Anyone knows a software/driver/whatever-you-know that I could use to read the encrypted memory in a PC?

Lately my phone was halfway fell into water, and did not work all the keys. Then, after a while, all keys were operated.
Yesterday, after I installed some software on my phone, messaging one-touch key stop working.
I did hard restart, but have same problem.
I recently upgraded from an E71 to an E72. Before giving my E71 away, I had taken a backup using the Nokia PC Suite (to a .nbu file). The 2 things I care about the most for restoring in my E72 are the contacts and the messages. After restoring them from backup, I could see all my contacts, but when I open the Messaging, the Messaging UI just hangs, until I hold down home and make it exit from the list of running apps (there too .. its doesn't exit immediately about after some time...and while its running the phones not very smooth to use)
If however, it is already running in foreground when I restore the messages from backup, it runs fine, until i exit it and start it again... this has been totally a mood spoiler.. i'ven't been able to enjoy my new e72 at all yet
