According to the specs of the E72 it should have an countdown timer. cannot find it however, did anyone find it? If it is not present, does someone have a good alternative timer for the E72. And the address where to download.
I can't seem to find one in the ovi store and i really miss these 2 applications. I want a decent alarm to wake up on unusual times and such. I also want a stopwatch because i can time how long i'm studying on a certain part.

I've put up with this problem for quite a while, and am starting to really get frustrated with it. There are multiple topics that explain "why" it happens on other Blackberry devices (Storm, 9530)
my timer shows 00:00:00 if I reset it, but if I hit start, it goes to 743:59:59 and begins counting down. If I try to set 1 minute or 5 minutes or whatever I've got the patience to test, it will countdown to 0, then roll immediately to 743:59:59 again. If I add 99:00:00, it shows that on the countdown screen, and then if I try to change the time again it auto-fills with 03:00:00 (it will always use the remainder of the hours I put in next if divided by 24). Another example, if I put 24:00:00, it will add 24 hours to the existing number (now in the hundreds) and the field will fill with all zeroes again. I can only reduce the time shown on the timer by having a remainder and then resetting that to 0. Essentially, I can always get it to show a multiple of 24 hours, but I'm just trying to set laundry reminders, etc...
(v4.6.0.180 Platform 4.1.0.61) I've done a zillion battery pulls since this started and I don't feel like wiping all my apps...
Start the default clock app.Set the timer/countdown to 5s.Choose a sound for the timer/countdown that has a duration of at least 2s.Start the timer.Press the Power key to turn off the screen or to lock the phone.
Result: After about 5s, the timer alarm sounds for about 0.5s and is mute afterwards. If there's music playing in the background (from the walkman app), you may get just a short 'blank' in the audio stream (also about 0.5s long).
How to capture pic by setting the timer in Lumia 1020... I could not find that anywhere..
i always end up taking my friends pictures when we go out for vacation... so if i have this feature, i can set timer, run and be part of all pictures i take in my 1020 :)
i have a 5800 and have installed the sms timer. it was working fine till ysterday when all of a sudden its stopped working. i have no idea why i tried uninstalling and reinstalling and switching off and on. no use.
I went for a run today and noticed that the stopwatch would randomly turn itself off during my run. It happened twice and at first I thought may have inadvertently did it myself, but then I checked again when I got home and after 3 minutes and change it reset back to 0 on its own. I restart every few days and do a partition wipe at least once a month.
So far the images are quite good in quality. I am still waiting for Nokia accessory for Camera Tripod Mount to arrive in my country, Malaysia. Some feedback for you Nokia guys, it will be nice to have a Camera Shutter Timer so that the photographer can be part of a group photo as well don't you think?
I ran a marathon today and when I crossed the start line (stepped on the mat to start the running chip)I started my watch. A few seconds after finishing I stopped it. The watch is about 3minutes off from my chip time. why this would be different? Could the Marathon time not be accurate or is it the MOTOACTV. I have the 8 gig watch...it was fully charged when I started. 3 minutes is a big difference. I didn't lose any signal while running.
The ota update notification appeared last week and it was downloaded and verified.
Decided to update, so fully charged, updated all my apps and back up photos, contacts etc. Also wiped the cache partition.
When I rebooted after wipeing cache the update notification appeared as usual and I selected restart and install. Counted down from 10-0, then got stuck on rebooting now... Phone still functioning as normal. So powered down and manually rebooted, ota notification not appearing anymore but the update still available via settings>system update and still hangs on rebooting now.
I have a BlackBerry Curve 9300 with OS6. When I open the Clock and then choose Stopwatch from the menu and record some lap times, I then click the menu button and press "Send Results". According to the documentation, this is supposed to pop up a dialog to select how to send the data such as:
Email Text Message Group Message Messenger Contact PIN Social Feeds
I have verified by running the emulator that this dialog does in fact appear, but on my BlackBerry, this dialog never appears. Is there a setting that needs to be set to enable this? I can't find anything in the options. This is a corporate BlackBerry, so is there a setting that the administrators may have turned off to disable this functionality?

Does anyone know if it is possible to enable in-call timer in E72? I mean while making a call, I wish to see the call duration.Secondly, is it possible to know the duration of a received/outgoing call, other than the last call.
I'm a pretty old Nokia user and have been using ONLY Nokia ever since my first cellphone.. I recently bought a X1-01 Dual SIM phone...Now the problem is, I cannot view the life timer surprisingly I use the code *#92702689# Shows me all data except life timer, how can this be?Every Nokia device comes with a life timer then why is it not present in this model of mine?
There are a million timer aps, and project management apps, and other variations on time logs. But I have been unable to find one that does precisely what I want to do. Start a timer on my iPhone when I begin work on a discrete project. Stop the timer when I stop work.Have an iCal entry created on my iPhone calendar which indicates that block of time. I do NOT need to manage a large number of projects, create complex reports, do billing, or anything like that. I am just looking for a way to be able to open iCal and get a visual assessment of when and how much time I am actually devoting to three-five priority areas.
Here is what I have been able to find and do NOT want:Manually creating iCal entries with start and stop times, that the app can then aggregate and report time spent.A timer that creates a separate log or standalone calendar - completely removed from iCal.
If I start working on a goal area at 3:15pm and stop 90 minutes later, I want to be able to start the timer. Stop the timer. And have an iCal entry that starts at 3:15pm and ends at 4:45pm automatically created in iCal.
Especially when it always sits on the direction line of WAZE when I drive and when I try to drag it it often moves the street map and I find myself dealing with the phone screen instead of the driving....
I have tried installing various dialer apps, but when a phone call is made - the system phone dialer is at work and I cant get rid of this icon. Nothing in the actual system disables this buggy feature.
I'm on a pre-paid T-Mobile plan that does not support call forwarding of any kind. Only their 2-year contract plans do. The iPhone Call Forward feature is fully unconditional and carrier independent - if I understand it correctly - but I only need it to be active between certain hours of the day - when I'm at work and where there is no reception.
My Curve keeps randomly freezing and bringing up a little square black clock in the middle of the screen that ticks away. I have to patiently wait and no button works, but once the clock flashes off whatever i have pressed during the time it was frozen, the phone carries out quickly.
If I ask GOOGLE to set a timer for 15 minutes, I get a response of, "No timer installed." Prior to getting my 6P, I could do this all the time on my One Plus. I am wondering if I inadvertently shut it off or restricted it in a setting?
constantly got the egg timer when i start to try and do something.i close apps properly, i hardly use the damn thing. when i do a battery pull it still happens when i start the phone. what shall i do?
Ok, so I have read on crackberry that BB's can't get viruses, however something is going on with my 8320. I don't App world, which I read causes the timer to pop up on screen and I don't have Facebook on my phone. I havent added any new Apps on my BB recently, but I am getting that stupid "sand timer" on my screen all the time and I can't go anywhere. I have Quickpull App and it is scheduled for pull everyday and I'm actually pulling the battery every day.
I've been having problems with my blackberry curve 9300 for the past month, quite often now I get the timer come up on my screen and I cant do anything for sometimes hours, I have done a software update and I end all my apps every night but it still happens I've even wiped everything off my phone and still getting the same problem. This happened with my last blckberry as well but I sent that one off and your company didn't know what was wrong with it and it got sent back to be with even more problems than it did have. Is there a way of resolving this without sending it off?
