May 13, 2010has always worked fine, i view on the phone and they stay til i either delete or view on my computer. but today they have just started vanishing from my phone after i recheck my mails and when i go onto my laptop they are not there at all. I've checked and its still set to ask me before it deletes but it is and i cant find out whats happening . I've not changed any settings either . it just started of its own accord. help please as I've lost some important mails already.

Feb 2, 2010I am having problems with my email in my 5800 can anyone help?it has worked perfectly since I had it until January when it suddenly decided to download every email I have ever kept on my server (several hundred) I then had a fiddle with the settings and now once it picks up my emails and I've looked at them it automatically deletes them from the phone and the server without asking even though I've checked the 'always ask button' I have lost several very important documents this way. I have previously not had this problem in fact when I deleted e-mails before this problem and hit the 'delete from phone and server' the e-mail still remained in my home computer. I have gone through all the settings on the phone many times and cannot see why this should be happening.

Jan 1, 2010I just bought a 5530 & mostly it works as intended.But I am having a problem trying to connect to a lot of websites, using wi-fi, not mobile phone network.I am on my home wi-fi connection, playing alongside my PC, which allows me to compare simultaneously.My usual method of finding sites for the first time is to Google the name, then click on the best link, then bookmark for later. (This is my normal PC approach.)
Mostly that works, but I find with the Nokia that many sites do not connect.
One example is "travelodge.com"
If I Google that, I see a first hit with green address "www.travelodge.com/PHONE SYMBOL."
Clicking on that link gets me nowhere, except a time-out message.
I tried entering the address "http://www.travelodge.com/" directly, but get the same result.
The next hit down on the Google page is "travelodge.co.uk" with a green address "www.travelodge.co.uk/"
Clicking on that link gets me right to that site OK, like many other sites.Other sites which similarly will not connect are "super8.com" & "ramada.com".
It sems that when the Google hit shows a PHONE SYMBOL in the address then I can't get there, whether I try via Google or directly.

Some of these sites I can view using Opera mini, but others return mobile specific versions.I'm aware there is some kind of script that the smartphone browers ( iphone included ) use to request mobile versions. Is there any workaround or another browser that can overcome this ?

Jun 30, 2010I have an issue with my e72-1 at the moment. It's either the phone, the ovi software.I have the following: Nokia e72 < acts as modem via cable or bluetooth > laptop..When it acts over modem via either cable or bluetooth, I can only access certain sites eg.I can't access google, or msn messenger for instance
I can access wikipedia, and my ISPs website as an example.Originally I thought it was because it was only able to access australian servers, but this isn't the case. My browser just seems unable to get a connection to certain sites/servers ever - it times out when i try to view google - but only when my phone is the link to the internet.On the phone, I can access every site/server that I want. But not on my laptop via the phone. When I'm on another internet connection (home or work etc), I have no issues connecting to those sites/servers from my laptop.Browsing google over other connections has not helped me find a solution yet. The connection to the net is stable - it doesn't drop out and can remain connected indefinitely.I'm running:
Laptop version: windows7, with ovi 2.2.0.241
Phone version: 031.023
The results have been the same on earlier versions of the phone and ovi software. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

May 21, 20122 days ago my phone (htc explorer) showed a notification about a system update stating "The update will support Hindi & Tamil languages"..I proceeded with the update.For more clarity I googled about the same, and there were many websites where it was written that HTC has released this update only for HTC customers in India and after applying this update they will be able to view and compose content in Hindi and Tamil languages, but sadly I was unable to find any option for doing that.

May 7, 2012I have Yahoo on my iPhone, right? When I read an email in my Yahoo account on my iPhone, and later log into my Yahoo account, it shows those messages as read. Heck, I can even file my emails away in my folders, if I want to; i.e. move them over to my bills folder, or my purchases folder, or my mom folder.Now, here's the deal with my other account tho. I have my work emails going to my iPhone too. At work, I use Outlook. I do not know a whole lot about how things are set up over here, but I have access to answers if you guys can help me find out the right questions to ask. When I read a work email on my iPhone, and I get to work the next morning, there it is, bold and unread. I really want it to show as read. I get an obnoxious amount of work emails. The whole point in keeping up with them on my phone is to save me time in the long run. So, when I get to work and have to re-read them all, I've saved nothing.
