Connecting E71 to WiFi through adapter on desktop PC. Can any tell me how to use my PC DSL network on my mobile phone. I'm using TP-Link WiFi and using windows 7 on PC. I want to connect my E71 to PC network is their any way?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI face this problem with my new E52: After connecting it to internet through Wifi and usually when i try to close my connection the phone appears the message "System Error" and "freezes" while the only way to start it again is through turning it off and on.
The software version is the 021.013 (3-7-09) and for my mobile network is the last available version (there is no any update available today). Another problem with this mobile is that usually looses it's date or time while it is turn off during the night or sometimes turning it off and on.
having problems with the latest 400.21.013 update. firmware installed fine and data was backedup without any problems. now with the new firmware wi-fi doesn't connect at all. every time i try to turn wi-fi on, an error appears on the screen saying that the wi-fi is used by another app; even though the wi-fi logo was off and none of the apps are using it. after the error the wi-fi logo stays on without any programs even using it and turns off only by booting the device. i haven't also, in my opinion, installed any damaging apps that would use wi-fi without an authrzn, there's only opera mobile, sports tracker, Internet, palringo, and so on. the regular stuff.would anyone have any suggestions to this problem? it would be such a pain in the a** to put it to maintenance.

View 1 Replies View RelatedOn my Nokia 5530 I get the message " wlan connection already active.please close all connections" although I am not connected and I can`t connect to the internet. If I want to restore to factory settings it says "please close all connections and calls". The wifi symbol is on top right corner all the time. I don't have the" disconnect wlan" option on the connectivity menu. What is the problem and what should I do? I haven`t upgraded the firmware or anything. It just started to do that.
View 10 Replies View RelatedI currently own a Xpressmusic 5530, and I can't surf the web on my college wifi network. I was able to for several months until 2 days ago when the error appeared. Now the college wifi network is a public network and requires a webpage login. Before the error appeared, i would connect to the Wifi and then log in through the webpage perfectly with the wifi.
I already tried resetting to hardware settings, reinstalling the firmware, disenabling/enabling the power saving, and setting up the ip4v address like my wifi on laptop. Nothing worked. This is my first Nokia phone and i'm really disappointed that i can't use my wifi anymore. I didn't change any settings and it just stopped working. I even went to the tech people in my college and the network specialist didn't know what was wrong.
I have presently configured three different emails on my email setup on my Nokia E72. However, I'm wanting to setup the email so that it connects to the email server primarily using any wireless network which is available and then, if wireless networks are unavailable, turning to either Contract Internet or Contract WAP for a connection.Does anyone have any idea how to go about setting this up?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have noticed something strange since updating to Anna and the new version of OVI Store application (2.12.042). When I launch the application with 3g connection (over Orange) the application connects to the store without any issues at all. It now has an "Orange Selects" button, which I assume means the application has recognised my sim card as the phone is an operator free version.
The problem is that when I launch the application at home, it attempts to connect via Wi-Fi and is unable to connect to the OVI service. All other internet over wi-fi works fine.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a N97 that charges OK when I plug it in computers USB port or in a (powered) hub.But I also have a USB power adapter that I can plug in a wall socket and it has one USB port (5V/1A) and nothing happens.Same happens when I plug it in my car using a USB adapter.
Since every other phone/MP3-player/device that can be charged via USB works with these, I have to assume that this is something with my phone...
I have the WH 600 headset and actually like it much. I have been using the AD-63 adapter to use it as headphones for my PC and CD player too. For the second time now I have lost the AD-63 adapter though. It is so small and I take it with me everywhere and sometimes I don't know where I put it. Now it seems to be out of stock everywhere.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI would like to be able to use an over-the-head headset with a 2.5 mm plug (the same kind used with cordless phones) with my Nokia 5230 (Nuron). The Nokia has a 3.5 mm jack, thus an adapter is necessary. I've scoured the web and found very little. I tried an adapter called the Headset Buddy that failed to work with the 5230: URL...
It seems that the adapters out there only support the audio going from the phone to the headset, and not for carrying the microphone signal from the headset back to the phone. (In otherwords, only to be used for listening to music.)
I'd like to use my E71 for streaming music via Spotify and I have been using a 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter with various speakers and headphones, but the sound quality is always bad. The sound quality is equally as bad when playing high bitrate mp3s via real player, so I don't think it's just Spotify.
There is also some hiss produced, but this can be mitigated by having the E71 volume turned up to maximum and using an inline volume control on the headphones to turn the volume down. But the audio quality is still bad and seems to be missing a lot in the mid range.
If I were to get a Bluetooth headset or a Bluetooth to 3.5mm adapter so that I could use my own headphones, would this improve the audio quality as it bypasses the 2.5mm plug on the device completely, or is the audio still going to be bad due to some underlying problem in the way the E71 decodes MP3s?
I have a nice audio adapter for my e90 (hs-45/ad-46). I has 3.5mm plug, remote control for music player (play/pause, stop, next, previous), a microphone and answer/hang up button and a 3.5mm socket to plug in your favorite earphones.I tried it on my son's 5230, the music can be heard but the buttons don't work. I would like to use a similar device on the N900 I'll get in few days, but perhaps the remote won't work on it either(?)Is there any wired old-school audio adapter/remote for 5230 or N900? Nokia website lists wh-701 as compatible with 5230 and it even ships with N900, but it has fixed in-ear headphones that don't fit me.If there isn't a compatible audio adapter available at the moment please make one.

I bought one, but it will only let me hear sound from one channel. I can manage it by adjusting the headphones so that they don't go all the way into the adapter, but all that does is to let me listen to the sound on that channel in both earbuds. Also, the sound sometimes cuts out in that mode.
I've done some research, and it looks like Nokia offer two adapters - the Nokia AD-61 and the Nokia HDA-11. Can anyone tell me if either of these will work for the E51 (i.e. have they tried it and found it worked)?

View 4 Replies View RelatedMy husband's iPhone 3GS isn't connecting to our wifi even though the network is showing in his list of networks. Both my iPhone 4s and my son's iPod touch are connecting ok. I've switched his wifi on and off, switched the phone on and off and reset network settings but it is still not working. In my wifi options our network has a tick against it but on his the processing circle thing is against it.
