A friend texted me and as I was reading the text it said *some text missing* I told if he had sent the whole text message and he did.Why does that happen is there a fix for this?
View 4 RepliesMy new Nokia 7020 can't play the chosen mp3-file, as the sound of an incoming SMS. It tries it, but only jams the sound effect. This happens also, when I choose from the phones own internal message sounds At the incoming calls it plays the chosen music perfectly, the problem is only at the message sound.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently bought Nokia 7020 Flip phone and found this problem with primary display which is 2.2 inches. Problem is you cannot read out the screen when you tilt the screen even 30 degrees. Photos just look like as negatives when you tilt the phone to 60 degrees angle. You can see the correct display on the screen only when it is exactly in front of your face. Is this a problem with my phone or it the problem with Nokia 7020 Flip phone itself.
Nokia Dealer told me that Nokia has introduce LCD screen for this phone and not TFT screen as found in any other model of Nokia, hence this is a normal behavior. You will see the display correctly only when it is exactly in front of your face/eyes.
I cannot check with any other dealer as they do not have any demo model of the phone which I can operate. All are factory sealed and dealer refuse to open the box to get hands-on experience. Even he refused to take back this phone saying this is normal behavior with this model, when I told him that I want to return this phone for this screen display problem.
I still cannot believe that Nokia will introduce this type of screen in this newer model, where user will have to keep the screen in from of his/her eyes without tilting even 30 degrees to see the correct display on the screen.Whether Nokia is compromising on quality to reduce the cost? Could anyone please confirm on this behavior of Nokia 7020 flip screen.
Basically, last night I had a blinking update sign on my N900. I clicked to update as I normally do. The update was 100% successful (Before this, my last update was on 20th April 2010).
As the phone re-booted itself I checked my messages and found that all my new messages have vanished from my Conversations & recently added contacts between 20th April - 28th May (last night)!!! ;0(
I contacted Nokia and they said there is a way to retrieve these but when I took it to a Nokia Centre (in Carphone Warehouse) they said they will need to reboot the whole thing and everything will be deleted!
My Backup reads as follows:
Backup4 29/05/10 This is backup Carphone Warehouse tried (but took me back to settings as Backup 2)

I recently upgraded to Blackberry Torch and at first everything was fine with my emails, but I recently upgraded also my version of AOL, and not sure if it's connected, but now all my emails come though with text missing, it's really random, usually a few words from each paragraph, sometimes whole paragraphs, I go to SEE IN PLAIN TEXT and sometimes this reveals some more, often most of what is missing, but then missing what's in HTML, I've tried clearing the check box for allowing HTML emails, and it makes no difference one way or the other.

However, today I opened my messaging app (stock) and I was looking for the little microphone key beside the space bar, and it's missing.
I use Google keyboard and I haven't changed any settings. The speech to text feature is literally non existent now.
I've reinstalled Google keyboard, played around with all the settings, but I just can't figure out why its gone.
I just got the LG G3 about 2 months ago. For the first 6-7 weeks all was good and normal. About a week ago, I went to "speak" a text msg like I've been doing up until then where the microphone icon has gone missing. I'm sure as I was playing with setting, along the line I must have done something I shouldn't have taking away my microphone icon. I've tried a few things but can't seem to get it back. Seems that the area I need to get to, to turn it on, is grayed out. I've attached a few pics.

I receive all of my emails (from various accounts), however in some messages - portions of text are missing. It's rather strange to receive an email and have one line missing (just a blank space instead of text), and then the next email is perfectly fine.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI haven't found a resolution to my missing text message icon on my BB Torch. It was there a few days ago but it has since disappeared. I read and tried a few things. It doesn't even show up in the menu (device/delete data) after I sync'd. I do receive messages but without notification. Also the character length is only 28 per message (incoming). Outgoing is OK. Contacts are all there.the SMS in the menu there is ticked. Also I do not receive FaceBook notifications.

View 1 Replies View RelatedThe pre-installed Text-to-speech language is English (UK), and when I was first testing the phone, there were two Voice options, "Ellen" and "Martin", both listed as "built-in". Today, upon trying this feature again, only "Ellen" was present. I do not believe that I have accidentally deleted "Martin". I have, however, updated the phone software using PC Suite (to 071.003). I have tried installing the downloadable voice file, but receive an "Update error" when I do. I am able successfully to install other language packages and their associated voices. I got two my mail address that outlook mail and gamil in my iphone. The problem is missing test after viewing about 5 minutes. I suprised that only outlook mail, gmail is still maintained

For some reason I have lost my Text Messaging Icon. If I look in my Contacts - I am able to select a Contact and then hit Menu and am given the option of "Send a Text Message" - which works.When I receive a text message - the appropriate notification goes off (audible or vibrate), but, there is no indication in the status bar that there is a new text message. If I go into "Contacts" and look at the individual that sent the text message, I can see the conversation in their history. Obviously, with a ton of Contacts, even if I do happen to get the notification, it can be quite the task to figure out where its coming from. I assume that any texts that do not have an associated Contact are just simply gone.
The text messaging app gone missing after a soft reset. This on windows 10 build 10536. There was lots of apps in the store listed error and could not install, so I did a soft reset. Everything is backed on and few app still could install with error code.
The main problem now is the text message app gone missing. The button display as 'Microsoft messaging', when I click on it says need to download an app then direct to store, but then nothing happens.
Recently perfomed a system restore on my iphone 4s. Device backup date is March 17,2012 but for some reason the phone only shows messages from Oct 2011.

I copied all the files from the internal storage and my removable sd card from my phone to my pc and then performed a factory restore.I would like to know if there is any way I can copy certain files back from my pc to my phone in order to get all me text messages back?If not is there any other way I can restore my text messages?
