View 3 RepliesHow to I delete apps that i have downloaded and uninstalled in the past. I had a update notification for some of the Razr apps and i see old apps that i have uninstalled when i had my Samsung Vibrant. Do they stay there indefinitely even though there uninstalled and not running?
I have like 15 updates already. Is there a way to delete Netflix? I'm guessing only the Downloaded apps that are in "Applications" can be deleted right?

When on my BlackBerry I click on BlackBerry App World.. then I click on My World
It lists my installed applications at the top... at the bottom though it lists my uninstalled applications. I do not want it listing my uninstalled applications... I didn't pay for them, I don't use them, and I'm never going to reinstall them.
I tried the ALT+r,s,t thing and it did refresh my app world... but my uninstalled apps. are still showing up. I also did a battery pull, and yes... they are still showing up.
Is there a way to remove this annoying uninstalled list... I know I can collapse it... but that's the thing... I don't want anything showing up in that list... that list is pointless to me.. if I uninstalled something which is free I should have the option to clear this list.
Both of which are now on the uninstalled list of my devices history. I cannot access them and never had them official install on the phone. Why did I pay for something I never had the chance to use?
View 3 Replies View RelatedAfter my recent SD card swap, I've run into a problem. I have a few apps that show as not installed, and are no longer on offer at the play store. Unfortunately, the icons for these apps still appear in my app drawer. If I hold one and try do delete it, I'm told that system apps cannot be deleted. Trust me, Cookie Crush is not a system app.
Any tips for getting rid of these icons and cleaning up the app drawer?
I was hopin someone would be able to tell me how to delete those apps which I have uninstalled? They show under the uninstalled section of my app world but I would really like to clear them completely.

The issue is when I click BlackBerry App World... then I click My World..It lists all of the applications I have installed... but for some reason it's listing all of the applications I have UNinstalled also....
I have tried to resolve this issue with a technician.My phone was getting an uncaught exception 6 or whatever upon startup.The technician had me do hard resets on my blackberry... that didn't help.He then had me install the desktop manager program, and I went to the spot where it lists all the apps installed on my blackberry.... he had me uninstall all of my apps.
So that took forever to do, then my phone restarted and my apps were gone... he then had me go to the us cellular website and download a file named "9650_512AMEA_PBr5.0.0_rel1367_PL4.2.0.363_A5.0.0.810_U.S._Cellular_.exe
Which is supposed to redo the stuff on my blackberry... so we ran that file, it removed stuff, then redid all the stuff that originally came with my blackberry.... but yet when I do a hard reset, soft reset, or uninstall all my apps, and run the "9650_512AMEA_PBr5.0.0_rel1367_PL4.2.0.363_A5.0.0.810_U.S._Cellular_.exe"
BlackBerry App World is still displaying my UNinstalled apps.... why is it doing this, and how do I make it stop?
I am trying to find a way to remove an app I uninstalled from the listing of apps in My world for the Blackberry App world. Other forums I have visited have suggested using the alt + rst key combination to refresh the list but this does not work for me. Anyone solved this problem. A call to blackberry tech support for my carrier was not helpful

I click update, the app shows to be downloading, finishes and then shows 'update unsuccesfull.' New applications will not download either. I have rebooted several times. i have stopped every application that i felt could be affecting this.
View 4 Replies View RelatedRecently, I have tried to install newly updated/created apps on my ICS XOOM WiFi from Tivo and from AMC Theaters. Both apps tell me the same thing when I go into google play, and also when I use a direct download QR Barcode. I get a message saying that my device isn't compatible with this version of the software. Could this possibly be becuase the apps are not tolerant of ICS yet? I figured that since the apps were newly released/updated, that they would be compatible with the latest.

When I first got it, i did not do a factory reset and it downloaded some apps but not all.I then did a factory reset and it shows all the apps to download, but it is not downloading. The apps are just stuck on "downloading."I left it on over night and no movement. I have 3.1 update, and 9.5 gb free on internal storage. It happens with on device MP3's as well.Not a wi-fi issue as it happens with wi-fi off. Any thoughts fellow Xoomers? View 2 Replies View RelatedJust want to know if anyone else is having this problem or is just on my Xoom. I can access Market but when I try to access My Apps I regularly get a FC. What it says is (process.com.android.vending) has stopped unexpectedly.
I have tried the Vol-Up-On start and cleared the Market cache with the same result. Would uninstalling an reinstalling Market be the next step.
Searching through the thread I have found many questions about office apps but almost none devoted to drawing, painting, diagramming (visio), and/or other graphics creation (other than camera pic aps). That being said, one know of any good ones for the Xoom?

1] I can't install ANY apps from the market place, free or paid (they download SOMETIMES, then just hang with thart green status bar that slides to the left)
2] I can't update ANYTHING (not even Google Maps!!!)
3] I can't install/update ANYTHING from the web version of the Market place

View 7 Replies View Relatedi bought a xoom (wifi) while in the us a few weeks ago. after arriving back to vietnam and setting-up my google and android market accounts a number of apps that i tried to download advised me that they are not available for download in "my country". how can i get these apps (e.g., amazon kindle; riptide, etc.) loaded in to my xoom wifi?also ... the android market doesn't even show "books" or "movies" within my android market, nor can i access google books for purchasing! do i have to change my location on my android market account to the us ... can i even do this after its been set-up?i did some further trouble-shooting including the following:
i have contacted various app developers .... all of which have confirmed to me that they allow and support free & paid app downloads in vietnam.i have had multiple friends in the us attempt to access and download numerous android apps to my android market account from their us-based web servers, but they receive the same comment i.e., "this item cannot be installed in your device's country", even though they are on a us server.
it is therefore clear that the problem is with my google/android market/xoom set-up, so can anyone assist me to confirm whether i can either:delete my android market account from my google account and "re-start", setting my location as the united states. (while retaining all my gmail; Internet; etc. account settings and files.) fix my current google/android market account settings to indicate i am in the united states so that i can download apps?

View 2 Replies View Relatedi have the timeout for my screen set for two minutes. this is normally good as my major use is checking e-mail or surfing the web. if i am watching a Internet video longer than 2 minutes or using navigation the xoom shuts off and i have to press the power button and then play (if i was watching a video) to continue for another two minutes until it shuts off again. here's my question.. am i missing something in settings or do i just have to adjust the screen timeout time every time i want to use an app that doesn't require me touching the screen for 2 minutes?
