View 1 RepliesFor the past week I've been running in high accuracy location mode because, for one I wanted to see if battery saving mode really saved much battery, and, also when I do need gps it's already on. I found that any difference in battery drain is negligible because gps is almost never on unless I'm specifically using it. Also if I have a phone with certain capabilities I want to utilize those capabilities. And what you've found as far as battery drain.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a droid Turbo. I accidently deleted my entire photo's folder instead of one picture. Is there a way to get my pictures back?
View 12 Replies View RelatedI was going through apps and somehow got on the one that describes each button as you use it. i now cannot swipe to the other app screens or the other home screens and the phone talks all of the time and i have to triple tap on things to make them work....
View 1 Replies View RelatedSo I started to notice this in my picture gallery. When I open it to look at a photo and then close the app, re-opening the app brings me right back to the last photo I was looking at. On my Razr M if you closed the gallery and open it again you are back on the folders screen. Now with the turbo I have to hit back a few times to get where I want to be. The same goes with my emails and text messages. If I text someone and close, instead of getting the whole list when I re-open messaging it starts off on the last person I was talking to.
View 7 Replies View RelatedAny way to get rid of or disable visual voicemail on my Turbo? It is getting annoying any time I get a voicemail and the phone tries to default me to visual voicemail instead of standard (non visual) voicemail.
Also, is it now the norm for voicemail messages to be "read" as to the exact time/date/length of the voicemail? Or is that a component of visual voicemail? My messages often take longer to "load" than to listen to the actual vm itself since it is telling me what day it was sent, what time, how long, etc
I just got a droid turbo and installed the recommended updates. It has changed the look of my keyboard and I would like to go back to the original one. How do I do this?
View 4 Replies View RelatedIs there a way for Bluetooth to turn on automatically when the phone is in drive mode? I have already paired my Bluetooth car stereo with my phone. I do not want to use NFC tags or paid apps like Tasker.
View 3 Replies View RelatedAll of the sudden my driving mode stopped working. I checked the Moto settings and it is checked. It just stopped out of the blue.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI typically use my phone on speakerphone when having a phone conversation. It's just easier to hold and talk with it in my hand in front of my body or else I set the phone on my desk. My screen time out is set to two minutes, so after I've talked for a couple of minutes my screen goes black. Then, when I'm ready to say good-bye, I can't figure out how to get back to the phone active screen! If I were holding it to my head it would automatically go to the phone screen, but when on speaker it doesn't. As a result I usually wait for the other party to hang up the phone. Tapping the power button doesn't do it.
How to I return to the phone screen after my screen has timed out and I'm on speakerphone?
Motorola Left Out Guest Mode and Multi-User Support in Your DROID Turbo’s Lollipop Update...With Android 5.0, Google introduced support for guest accounts and additional users on phones. When Google pushed Android 5.1 a few months after 5.0, they didn’t remove the feature. Although, if you are a DROID Turbo owner who recently updated to Android 5.1 (it’s rolling out now to all by the way), you are probably wondering where it is.
View 5 Replies View RelatedMore recently, my droid turbo has been turning rainbow colors instead of black with the time when it's charging. If I press the lock button myself, the phone will lock and stay black with the time. If I unlock my phone and let it be, it'll turn to the rainbow colors. I have my phone on the turbo charger when this happens!
View 9 Replies View RelatedI have had a lot of trouble with my phone, I make a call and it connects with the party. But they say I am connected but they can not hear me and I can not here them! Also I do not here any ringing to the other party. If I reboot the phone it works, but after an hour or so I have to do the same thing again..... (reboot).
View 4 Replies View RelatedI just got my Razr Maxx and have a question about the voice to text. When I talk, it cuts off on me after only a short pause. My friend has this phone and it doesn't cut off on her that fast. Is there a way to set the length on how long it stays on before it cuts off?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI want to take full advantage of HD video camera on my Droid Turbo, and found an external lavalier lapel microphone (Audio Technica 3350iS, which comes with an adapter for "smartphones including iPhone and newer Android phones"). But even when I use the adapter, the video recorder will only use the phone's on board mic. How can I disable/mute the onboard mic? Scoured the interweb, and at one point there was a perfect app "Mute Mic", but the NSA or Google or Motorola decided it was too useful to live.
View 3 Replies View RelatedA while back, I downloaded Google Calendar 5.2. That obviously created duplicate calendars (stock and 5.2). Any reminder or event added to the newer calendar showed up on the older one. I had hoped that with various updates, the old calendar would be removed. How can I get rid of the old calendar?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI updated to Lollipop and even factory reset but I can't receive pictures. I'm able to send them out without an issue though.
View 13 Replies View RelatedWhy does textra use 192+mb? I'm trying different ones out and noticed textra is 192 mb on my app list. Also tried chomp and it's made by same company and its just 15mb?
View 24 Replies View RelatedHow do I delete the "no name" contacts all at once. I have hundreds. I don't want to do it individually.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI just got several texts from a couple of my contacts and another one that I don't know. They said "New MMS message to download: size 1KB, expires on 3/21, 8:54 PM." If i click download, it attempts to download it but fails. I'm using Hangouts, I haven't given my phone number out recently, and if it matters I'm using a beta test version of Nova.
View 3 Replies View RelatedAny way to increase (and maintain) a louder volume from the speaker while using speakerphone or Bluetooth speaker? My Maxx was awesome!! I thought for sure when I got the Turbo it would be equivalent.
I often find myself disappointed in the output. The really strange part is that I swear that it changes somehow. One phone call on speakerphone is great. Same number calls back later and not so much! I didn't change anything. I then try to increase my volume to no avail. My Bluetooth does that as well watching a YouTube video. I can start the video nice and loud. Stop it for a bit to return later and I can't hear the dang thing.
I use all factory Android software without any additional apps, etc. for volume controls. All levels are set to high. No droppage or any damage to the speaker or phone.
I used to be able to just use the side volume control and turn it all down and it would mute the ringer but allow notifications for texts and emails. That, suddenly has gone. I have tried everything I can think of to do. Setting priorities does nothing. The moment that the ringer turns off, the vibration icon grays out. I get it back if I turn the ringer to its lowest setting but I do not want that. At work, having just the vibration running for calls and texts was perfect.
View 3 Replies View RelatedOver the last couple nights I've noticed that my Turbo won't charge overnight. I often read or play games before bed and it seems if I have a few apps open and then plug it in it won't charge. If I close all the apps down then I've never had a problem.
I've also noticed it freezing up at times and then rebooting by itself if I don't close open apps.
The phone is great and at this point I don't care about Lollipop. We've had 2 S5 go bad with Lollipop and until they get the bugs all worked out I'll keep munchin the kitkat.
I have a droid turbo and it won't let me make my own music my ringtone. I've put music in the "ringtones" folder and it wont show up on my phone. I've had music in the folder before and had my own ringtones but when I tried to add more of my music to the folder or completely switch out the songs it didn't show up on my phone.
