Nov 30, 2011I have a Droid 3 that I'm stuck with until December 2012. Will the Droid 3 be one of the phones that gets upgraded to ICS at some point?

Motorola Droid Bionic :: Embedded Videos Since Ice Cream Sandwich?
Oct 30, 2012Since updating my Bionic with Ice Cream Sandwich I can no longer see embedded videos on any browser. This is not just a flash problem but html5 videos as well. These were playing great before the upgrade and they play great on the iphone and Ipad as well. I have to believe it is a setting somewhere.

Jun 19, 2012So i got the update 5 days ago and ever since then my phone has been acting up. Everytime i open an app up and close it (or just hit the back button or home button) it brings up the HTC logo (which comes up when you restart or shut down the phone and turn it back up) and then says loading and then loads the screen and in my music playlist the cover album is the same for every song! wth. this has slowed down my phone also. New update to fix the kinks required! I've turned it off, reset it, left it shut off but no change. Just didn't try a factory reset so i'm not sure if i should do that but i know a friend who's having issues also so its the update not just my phone.

I was wondering who will supply my update? I cannot find anything that relates to my phone. There is an reference to Orange. Will it come via Orange and if so will it be filled with Orange bloatware? which I do not want or will it come via a different route such as Europe/Poland etc...

Apr 18, 2012after failing miserably with kies to try and get update for ICS (kept telling me there was update but taking hours and then timing out)I finally received the ota update (network vodafone spain) but because I was using packet data at the time I thought I would wait till I got home and use wifi,it give me the option of postponing for a hour. Apr 19, 2012So yesterday I upgraded my SGS2 from Android 2.3 to the the Ice cream sandwich via kies. All went well except that now I can't see my contact pictures in third party applications. My contacts are all linked to Facebook so their pictures are all set to their Facebook profile pictures. Before the update, applications such as whatsapp and Handcent SMS automatically sync this information and the contact name and picture will be displayed. Now only the stock applications can display contact name and picture not any downloaded application.

Nov 15, 2012I had a perfectly functioning Bionic camera before ICS.During the ICS update (which was supposed to take 10 minutes!) the phone showed updating media database for over an hour and I did a battery pull to restart the phone since I needed it later that night. After a few reboots I could play music and see my camera gallery.Since ICS the camera app will stop working -- the screen goes dark but the camera won't load. It happens to FXCamera app and it happens if I call the camera via online banking to take a picture of a check. I can always access the gallery of pictures. If I clear the 8KB of data and the cache in the camera app and reboot I can then use the camera again. If I do a "fast reboot" or just clear data is still won't open. Only if data and cache are cleared then phone is rebooted. The camera will work fine, but hours or days later it will fail to open.

Nov 23, 2012i noticed that occasionaly if i was looking at a Internet video or playing some other sound using native apps for playback, or playing a clip from a webpage on the native browser, there would be no sound. if i exit the playback and tap the volume on the ringer until i hear the up volume beep, and then go back to the source that was giving be a problem, it worked ok.
did not see this till the ics upgrade. my phone is stock and never rooted.
