Motorola Admiral :: Error Message "Your Camera Has Been Disabled By The Administrator" When Trying To Use The Camera?
Dec 30, 2012
For the last 6 weeks I have been receiving an error message "Your camera has been disabled by the administrator" when trying to use the camera. I have tried resetting the phone to factory settings and still cannot get the camera to work.
I buy the blackberry bold 9900 mobile and after 1 month when i use the camera it showing the error message could not start the camera close other application and try opening the camera again i remove the battery from the mobile and restart so many time and i not able to capture the picture . and also update the software.
When I try opening the camera on my phone I get the error message: " Could not start the camera, close other applications and try opening the camera again". I did a reboot, did OS update from Blackberry Desktop Software, checked menu button on phone for open applications..How do I fix this?
I'm getting an error message when I try opening my camera the message is : " Could not start the camera, close other applications and try opening the camera again" .. I have deleted most 3 rd party applications, checked video camera, pulled the battery and getting the same message.
Since I made the lollipop 5.1.1 update on my Xperia Z2, I cannot use my camera. When I take a picture, it's automatically deleted and my phone displays an error message. I tried to force stop and clear data in the setting menu and restart the phone but nothing worked.
So, the first day with my new Z3+ - and the camera app won't even start. The phone is not too hot, I've tried the Norwegian reset (turn the phone off then on) and the camera app still won't start. All I get is an error message telling me Camera has been stopped.
I am having the same issues as a lot of you where i am unable to use my camera, when I try to open it I get the following error message 'Could not start the camera. Close other apps and try opening the camera again'. I have closed apps, rebooted the phone and all to no avail. I have read through some of the posts but still cant find an answer, is there anyone out there that can help me please?
I just bought this phone a few days ago. I am very excited and start playing with the camera. after a few shots and a few mode change, the phone freeze and restart. then i open the camera app again it shows only black screen and a camera failed message
i tried using other camera app but it's no use. the phone has no warranty in my country so i could not have a replacement.
been to the samsung service center also but still no luck.
My phone frequently returns a message "Error! Camera not Available!" when opening any application which uses a camera. This happens specially when the applicatons that scan barcodes are used ("AT&T Code Scanner", "OK Scan"), but not exclusively. Among the apps bringing the camera to a crash there are some of good reputation, like for example "Perfectly Clear". In the emergency mode the camera works OK.
The issue is the same as in this thread for Z1, however it disappoints me that the same happens in Z3 which is so much newer.
The support advised me to clear the data for the camera (Applications menu) and restart the phone. No dice, so they advised to reset the phone to factory defaults. I did it twice, due to after the first time I found exactly which apps caused the problem. It took me a day to restore everything to the original state .
Afterwards, the camera was stuck by "Perfectly Clear", a decent app written by a "Best programmer". I was depressed.
However, there is a solution: simply clearing all the apps running in the background (["three permanent keys in the bottom" | "two rectangles" | clear all], or [an icon with a green brush]). This works without a restart.
I keeop getting this error "could not start the camera. close other applications and try opening the camera again" I don't know what to do. I have tried to pull the battery and close apps but nothing seems to work.
I got a BB Bold 9700 as a present from a friend of mine. Everything works fine and it's a great smartphone. Except the use of the camera. When I want to use it I get the message that the camera is disabled due to IT policies. How can I enable the camera use?
I was recording with my phone last night and when I went to check back on the video, it wasn't there? I'm on Carbon ROM and disabled the camera app, tried google camera from play store thinking it would be useful, but it hasn't.
I used my Droid Turbo a month ago to shoot some outdoor pictures and the camera worked great. Today, however I attempted to use the camera and the app froze and the phone rebooted. I uninstalled the built-in camera updates and reinstalled them and the result was the same - load the app and the phone reboots. I tried installing another camera app and the result was the same as the built-in camera app.
I am unable to update Apps because everytime I get a meesage to say that 'Your Apple ID has been disabled'. I have tried resttig passwords and have rechecked all security information but withour success?
The zoom feature was initially working with the touchpad button, however it stopped working abruptly and I am not too sure if it was a setting somewhere that I accidentally disabled. How to enable it or does this sound like a hardware issue?
My camera will not let me turn on review duration option (or turn on self-timer) for some reason. Probably a simple fix but I can't figure it out. I've tried resetting the camera to default options but to no avail.
I did the software update on my Admiral, now when I lose 3G I get a hotspot tethering error display. I don't have this enabled. Called service, was told the update didn't take properly. Went to a Sprint store, was told all was correct. DC works better, but phone keeps trying to do the hotspot connect and it's eating my battery like there's no tomorrow.
The text-messaging app or underlying UI aggressively corrupts my messages. For example, if I enter "/tmp/" as part of a URL, this is changed to "/top/". The software fights to maintain this corruption, so that I have to enter a blank-space and then delete it to maintain the actual string that I want. I want to disable this corruption.ne of the first things that i did with this hand-set was to change the settings for the hardware and virtual keyboards, to disable auto-correction; those settings appear to be as I left them.
I like this feature especially when driving, however, could it be modified to first wake the screen if it's blank then wait for a second press to end the call? If a notification appears during a call, there's no way to see it without hanging up on the caller.
I've had a strange, but very frustrating behavior on my phone twice recently. My alarm will go off, but it will not make any sound whatsoever. I have the app alarm clock extreme and the regular android alarm. During this time, neither will make any sound. The default alarm will vibrate, but alarm clock extreme will not - although it should. A soft reset will fix the problem. Additionally, my ringtones will not make any sound when someone is calling. I'm trying to remember how the behavior was this morning, but I feel like pressing the volume up and down keys while the alarm was going off first snoozed my alarm, but then beeped to let me know the volume level.
My Admiral freezes/lags when dialing/redialing and the Touchscreen is unresponsive. Its really bad on missed calls. I can hit the green dial icon 20 times in a row and nothing happens. Finally wait for about 30-60 seconds and it will dial.
I routinely reboot. Not running alot of apps. Latest firmware. I've also noticed the browser is slow to render webpages no matter how fast the connection is.
Just got a Sprint Admiral, paired my bluetooth with it easily enough (Blueant T1), but at random, the phone will disconnect and reconnect bluetooth.I have actually watched the bluetooth icon go dark, then light back up so I know it is not an issue with the earpiece itself. It is becoming very annoying, and talking to others who have this phone, they have reported the same issue with other bluetooth earpieces.
I just recently bought the Motorola MOTOACTV because I have the Motorola Admiral, and they are supposed to be able to work together. However Google Play states that the Motorola Admiral and the MOTOACTV app are not compatible. And while the latest release states that the MOTOACTV app should work with all Android 2.1 and higher, the Motorola rep that I called (level two, ID 5545142) states that the app will only work with the RAZR, which is contrary to everything put out about the MOTOACTV. I'd be interested to know if this is correct.
