View 13 RepliesA week ago my T-Mobile G2 received its long-awaited Gingerbread update OTA. The update installed easily and I can happily report that Wi-Fi calling and other features worked quite well.
What I only learned as a problem a few days later is that now my car charger will not charge the phone at all. The T-Mobile branded car charger had worked previously and still works with other Android 2.2 OS phone just fine. But although the phone clearly recognizes the presence of the charger [because it switches to "Car Mode" when plugged in, a nice new feature in itself], it will not charge with the car charger at all. The T-Mobile G2 does charge fine with wall charges, just not in the car.
I have called T-Mobile and they are guessing this is a bug in Gingerbread.
I have an iPhone 4 It recentley started acting up on me the touch screen stoped working and it stops charging other than that it all works. Charging- When I plug the charge on it has the "thunder" logo on it but doesn't charge.
Touch screen- I know 100% its not the digitizers fault as I have changed it to another one and it still the same thing #probably logic board problem I tryed hard booting and itunes doesnt reconise I t was water damaged but fixed, when the water damage was fixed the touch screen still didn't work.

last night my phone just stopped recognizing every android wall fharger i have. 3 other android devices all work fine, only thing not charging is my x2. As of now the only way to charge it is by plugging it into my computers usb port.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI got this unit as gift little while ago and just opened it. plugged it in and was receiving traffic and charging. i plugged in couple days later and now not charging and no traffic. the little green light is on at the cig plug and there is power to the end of barrel plug via test light. I looked over the cradle and pins all looks fine. i cleaned them just in case. so it would seem to be a cradle/dock issue. I cant find any issues with the unit and it charges fine on usb. i dont have a spare cradel to test it.
View 15 Replies View RelatedI usually plug into a computer whenever I am at work or a lot of time at home, but I have recently discovered that I cant charge off my wall adapater anymore. I have tested multiple wall chargers, as well as multiple cables, and while they all work on a computer USB port, and the chargers can charge all my other devices fine (including a HP Touchpad that has higher power reqs than the phone), the phone refuses to charge off the wall. I have gone into the Android recovery and did a factory reset as well as clearing the cache, but no go.

I brought it home and it was charging again at home too. I thought it must have been some fluke. Only now it is doing it again. I have tried dozens of outlets, and they work for any other device but not for the Xoom. It won't charge.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've had a strange, but very frustrating behavior on my phone twice recently. My alarm will go off, but it will not make any sound whatsoever. I have the app alarm clock extreme and the regular android alarm. During this time, neither will make any sound. The default alarm will vibrate, but alarm clock extreme will not - although it should. A soft reset will fix the problem. Additionally, my ringtones will not make any sound when someone is calling. I'm trying to remember how the behavior was this morning, but I feel like pressing the volume up and down keys while the alarm was going off first snoozed my alarm, but then beeped to let me know the volume level.
View 3 Replies View RelatedMy Admiral freezes/lags when dialing/redialing and the Touchscreen is unresponsive. Its really bad on missed calls. I can hit the green dial icon 20 times in a row and nothing happens. Finally wait for about 30-60 seconds and it will dial.
I routinely reboot. Not running alot of apps. Latest firmware. I've also noticed the browser is slow to render webpages no matter how fast the connection is.

View 15 Replies View RelatedJust got a Sprint Admiral, paired my bluetooth with it easily enough (Blueant T1), but at random, the phone will disconnect and reconnect bluetooth.I have actually watched the bluetooth icon go dark, then light back up so I know it is not an issue with the earpiece itself. It is becoming very annoying, and talking to others who have this phone, they have reported the same issue with other bluetooth earpieces.

However Google Play states that the Motorola Admiral and the MOTOACTV app are not compatible. And while the latest release states that the MOTOACTV app should work with all Android 2.1 and higher, the Motorola rep that I called (level two, ID 5545142) states that the app will only work with the RAZR, which is contrary to everything put out about the MOTOACTV. I'd be interested to know if this is correct.

I unplugged the charger from the phone and checked the battery - it was at 20%. Normally, this phone would have charged 100% in an hour.
I plugged the charger back in - the phone charged properly.
