However when I plug in a microphone the sound does not come out of the built in speakers. Is there an app I can use to amplify my voice coming from the inserted mic by changing the sound output to the built in speakers?

If someone was to ring my ringer is not working The phone is not in Vibrate mode!When the ringer is turned up, i cannot hear the clicks when i dial a number When i play music it does not play through the speaker I can make a call but the loudspeaker does not work.Siri is turned off I have restored my phone rebooted it It is on iOS 5.1 and was working on iOS 5.1 If i connect a headphone i can hear the music or dialling of a number.

So my HTC One is only about 6 months old and today the loudspeaker just stopped working. Nothing has happened to the phone.
When you click on loudspeaker however all the person who rings you can hear is loud static. Ive gotten 4 different people to call me and it's always the same. I can still play music and everything just fine.
How do you activate the loudspeaker in the C3-00? I cannot hear the other end of the line?

Also, I cannot find anywhere what the symbols represent on the lowest right button. I figured out by chance that I can enable silent or normal mode but have no idea what else might be possible. I also don't know what the symbols on th 0 number key represent. Since I don't use internet access and don't text perhaps I don't need to know, just curious.

When I call someone and I'm in a private environment, I like to hit the top left loudspeaker icon at once so that I can do other stuff with both my hands until the other end answers. But with the Sony Ericsson Xperia, the loudspeaker icon doesn't appear until the conversation has started.
Which means first that I have to hold the phone next to my ear until the other end answers, and second that the screen has gone black, and if I still want to use the loudspeaker I have to tilt it or press a button or something (which always feels like it takes forever) to wake it up so that I can access the loudspeaker icon.
Can you make the loudspeaker icon appear at once the phone number has been called, instead of, wait for connection, wait while ringing. Btw, can you also make the phone wake up faster while during a conversation. I brought the Samsung Galaxy S6 in April 2015. From day one it has been defaulting to LOUDSPEAKER every time I either take or make a call! (I have to press the speaker picture twice to make it quiet again and resume my conversation). I have tried the usual "mode" settings and because there isn't a "car mode" setting on S6.. I guess it rules that one out. Don't want to do time-consuming perils of the dreaded "Factory Reset?" I have my phone just the way I want it now.
I contacted Samsung direct but no luck. They had never heard of it before so they just said do a factory reset as a result.
Here are some of the Google apps that I have downloaded to use, I guess my last resort is to delete some of them and re-install, perhaps due to conflicting software?

Just purchased a C2-00. Whenever I make a call normally, the voice can be heard on the earpiece & very clearly on the loudspeaker also - AT THE SAME TIME...When I turn on the speaker phone on, then the loud speaker gets activated & is loud, which is normal of any phone. Is this a problem with my handset or a feature given by Nokia that the Earpiece & loudspeaker will function at the same time?

I've solved it by switching the phone automatically into the pager profile when the headset is recognized by the phone but I would prefer it if the usual sound would be played by the headset only so I can differentiate between phone calls and messages without looking on the screen.
I've tried the WH-701 that came with the phone and the AD-54 I use with my own headphones.

View 15 Replies View RelatedI recently installed a 4 MB software update through the 'Update software' service in my phone.
I`m facing some major issues with it:
1) The reception has become really bad now! Earlier i never experienced call drops but now they are so frequent.
2) The flash remains on even if u switch it off in the still picture mode. This means when u click a pic, till the time the autofocus is running the flash will remain on.
It is very uncomfortable as everybody around u comes to know that u are taking a pic. Very embarrasing if u want to click secretly.
3) 'Flash Auto' has also become unresponsive. In the same lit room in 1 direction the flash would auto on, in another it wont.
4) The loudspeaker cracks at max volume. This wasnt the case earlier.
The sony ericsson website says sony phones cannot be downgraded. Is it true? Can i never get my original software again?

Now this is speaking from a DEVELOPER point of view. Would you like to see iPhone exclusivity stop? To me, yes, obviously, because this means the App Store can be in more hands, and my apps can have a MUCH larger audience. Yes I know there is a lot of market share already, but look at VZW, T-Mob etc and if we got their eyes on our apps. you should be able to fill in the rest. What do you think from a developer point of view?
