Dec 7, 2015So ever since yesterday I've been able to use WiFi. I was chromecasting something and while it was casting my phone went through a reboot, thought nothing of it since its happened lately. Well i think it did it a few times. Well I check my phone after my show is over and my WiFi is off., and I can't turn it on. I rooted my phone last night since it was unlocked already from when I had it rooted before. It's on Android 6.0 right now. I was getting a logcat error in reference to the wifistatemachine.

Sep 4, 2011I've been using my blackberry bold for quite some time and suddenly I just can't connect to the wifi. I mean whenever I check the box for turning wifi on, it wont turn on and when I do wifi setup wizard it says "unable to turn wifi on". I did clean reload of BB OS, I even did a downgrade for BB OS, I erased all the data and set everything to default but yet no results. I am already subscribed for BIS plan, its just frustrating to watch myself upgrading and downgrading and erasing datas for the past 4 hours just for turning on the wifi....

Jun 29, 2010So as well all know, AT&T uses a ridiculous set of cellular frequencies that not only produces a lower signal (compared to Verizon,) but also puts a lovey "DA DA, DA DA, DAT DAT DAT DAAAA!!!!" sound in my speakers! (GSM interference) I've tried the tricks with the little things you put on your speaker cables to catch the stray RF noise but they did not help and I am SICK of this stupid sound that gets transmitted into every set of speakers I have.
The only way to fix this is to shut off the cellular network by putting the iPhone into airplane mode. Then, I can play music from my iPod and not have the stupid interference playing as well. The only problem is, now I can't stream online music like Pandora, etc because Airplane mode shuts off my WiFi? So is there any way I can shut off the phone, but leave on the WiFi?

Jun 17, 2014The USB ports on the laptop (MBPro) that my iP5 syncs to have stoped working (have reset PRAM and SMC - that didn't work), so I'm wondering if it's possible to turn on wi-fi syncing on the phone and in iTunes so I can back-up and update the music/pictures?Â
The MBPro is mid 2009 and has a few hardware issues - USB, DVD and headphone port are all not working, so am expecting to be up for a replacement soon, but in the interim, I'd like to see if I can get this sorted out.Â
