IPhone :: Unable To Send Business Card Through SMS On 4S?
Mar 20, 2012
I have purchased iPhone 4S recently and am very happy with its multitasking ability and most of the Apps!. But, I was surprised to find that I am unable to send contact information as business card by SMS as is possible with other phones.
I am using xperia neo v ICS 4.0.4, I am unable to send business cards using the send contacts, It always converts the contact to multimedia format. I do not want to send the business card via multimedia, I just need to do it using plain message.
Is there anyway to send a business card other than by bluetooth? This phone is the most unfriendly user phone that I have ever owned.Suggestion to SE,before bringing new software update
I have set up a number of e-mail accounts on my Milestone 2 in the UK. G-Mail and btinternet work perfectly (and set up automatically). However, I am trying to set up a couple of business accounts (.co.uk and .eu domains), and althought they work ok in most respects (they pick up all incoming e-mails, and also copies of outbound e-mails created on my laptop), the phone does not seem to be able to reliably send e-mails: they get stuck in the outbox.
Is there such a thing to copy business cards to my iphone contacts? I have tones of cards but I really could use lots of the numbers on my phone, is there a way to copy them to iphone and save them to contacts? (I'm talking 140 at least).
I recently bought SE Xperia X10.I am facing the following problems with it:
1. 3G which is recently launched in India, does not work on my phone. I have taken all possible help from the Mobile phone connection service provider.
There is a business card reader function on the S5 under contacts that seems to be absent from the S6 Edge. Where the business card reader has gone to?
If someone sends me a contact from their mobile as business card, I do not receive it in my mobile. My xperia neo v is running on ICS 4.0.4 build version 4.1.B.0.587. Is this a bug with xperia neo v? Because of this issue I am not able to receive any business card that someone sends.
I am unable to receive email on my blackberry for my business account. I have tried everything: re-entering account information, changing password, service books, reconcile now, etc.
I've been using my E51 device for the last 2 years (about ...),without any problems.Since installing Ovi Store software on the device, it hasn't been able to receive business cards.I can send them, the logs show that I've received them, but they're not there !?! Not in the messaging Inbox, at least.Any ideas, please ? It's quite annoying, really.

I have turned it off And on, re installed message settings, deleted stuff, even reinstalled factory settings and its still not working id much appreciate some help. It did the same thing on Tuesday but was fine when I woke up Wednesday morning. It did it again 10pm Wednesday night and is still the same and its Friday xx I have posted this message on facebook and got told to ask here. recently moved to IT department in my company and part of our job is to support iPhones used by top level executives only. I have been an iPhone user for a long time but don't have much experience with setting up business email etc on it, need to know where can I find information on setting up email etc on iPhone. Also, is it true that if a direct connection is setup to access emails, it is unsecure and there is no way to have a secure connection without using 'Good'. I use a Macbook but also have a Windows PC at home.
I recently lost my SD card to my blackberry 9810 and am attempting to restore the files onto a new SD card to a computer. I had automatic backups set up from the Blackberry desktop manager and Blackberry protect. I was under the assumption that these backups also backed up information on the SD card. Unfortunatley, when I tried to restore my phone using a blackberry desktop no old files where restored to my new SD card.I have read an old post that says the automatic backups do not backup SD card documents but am unsure if that is still true.Is there anyway I could restore the files using the backups?
I got an interesting topic in my school to write about. I have to compare and use either an iPad or iPhone 4 in management and/or corporation. So this is what I learned (the question I'm asking is in the bottom of the post ).
http://www.uxmag.com/technology/ipad...perience-study you can use the iPad as a better cashier than iPhone
http://appadvice.com/applists/show/i...he-businessman - there are some great apps for using on an iPad (iPhone has them too I think)
http://thecomputerboss.com/2010/05/5...-for-business/ - also some ways that you can use the iPad for business...
Now the question I'm asking is do you know of any article, personal experience and/or forum talk that would give me information which one to choose if I was a business-man from a small Telecommunication, Dance or performance company? Or even better for a bigger corporation?
The things I would need have both (the calendar, email browser and internet browser, music player, movie player, connectivity (both can use wlan and 3G) - but I think here iPhone 4 wins).
I would use it in meetings (http://appadvice.com/app/354098826 -great app beside iCal), reading some books (getting information from literature), showing some videos that were made by myself, it would be nice to take videos, connect to email and internet, have as much an all in one device as possible, have personal information written in it, complete connectivity with windows, linux and mac systems (such as working on different floors in a company without any problems), price is bellow 650 EUR (or around it) - live in Europe, and a strong battery (at least for a few days of moderate work).
So any help would be much appreciated. Oh and one last question.when does the iPhone fewer stop in Europe so I a person could normaly buy one?
