I know it kind of defeats the purpose of "hands free" having to hit the button on the side but it really defeats the purpose if I can't use Sync at all! Sometimes I can get the first alert but then I can't hear anything, not even if i hold the phone to my ear.

Jun 24, 2010I replaced 3 iphone 3g's with 3 new iphone 4's on my family plan. 2 of them are working just fine. The other one is unable to send or receive texts or mms. Anyone else having this problem? Or anyone that can suggest how to fix this? I wonder if I might have misstyped in the ime or SSID info on the at&t page incorrectly on that one unit. This is a non jail broken phone. Just a regular 3g.

Mar 31, 2015I have not had any trouble sending text just receiving them. I have only been notified by one person using an android that they had sent a text which I did not receive. All other text issues have been sent from iphones which my children have. I contacted Straight Talk which is my carrier and they told me that if I could send a text to myself and receive it then it was not my phone. I had a Samsung Proclaim previously and did not have any trouble. I have sent a text to myself as Straight Talk suggested and I received it fine. Both phones were/or are on the Straight Talk plan using verizon towers.

I checked my voice mail, but the symbol did not go away. Since then I have not received any text messages. The text messages I send are getting through, but the ones other people send me aren't. Thinking my inbox might be full, I deleted a few conversations, to no effect. My phone is basically new and I haven't made any adjustments to it. Apr 29, 2012Just got the 4S iphone. When I sync it to my ford touch I can call out no problem. When the phone rings, it does not ring on the ford touch only on the iphone. I have to answer the call and manually transfer it to the ford each time which is dangerous when driving.
