Jan 29, 2010i had copied my 6300's contacts to PC suite. Now, i have a 6700 and i would like to restore all those contacts to this new phone. On my pc, under "PC SUITE" directory, i still have a directory with the serial number as the name of the directory. When i start the new version of PC SUITE, i could not find my old contacts.

May 28, 2010I have a problem with viewing the maps in nokia ovi suit. I just bought a new Nokia E72 I installed OVI Maps but when I connect device to Ovi Suit click on maps and click for Europe, All, Asia or whatever it does nothing, it doesn't give me a choice to install the maps of particular countries. How shluld I fix it?

Nov 4, 2011Yesterday I upgraded my Bold 9000 to Bold 9900. The transition went smooth, with one exception - the Notes field size in Contacts is much smaller than in Bold 9000 and the text in that field got truncated.. I keep customer service logs in that field and the major reason for upgrading was the possibility of fast scrolling to the end of the Notes field to add new records. Now this purpose is irrelevant since the data entered in this field in Bold 9000 doesn't even fit in it in Bold 9900. If I don't find a workaround, I will have to revert to my Bold 9000 and return the new device.

Now i want update the Firmware on my Nokia 5800 Xpress Music, the Ovi Suit takes long to find the Firmware update on the Update Screen. Then i click the "Install" Button. Then it tooks some time to determine some infos from Phone. Then i see the next screen with the Infos that current V 31.0.101 is on the phone and V 40.0.005 is the new firmware that i want to install. After click "next" i agree with the Terms and click again "next". Now i make a Backup of my current Phone Settings and Data and after that i Click "install". Now i have display something like "prepare download" (on german version: "Herunterladen wird vorbereitet...") but nothing happens, no network traffic or similar no change also after 1h waiting. I tried with disabled Firewall and AV but no effect.
Has someone a idea what i coul'd do?

When i install pc suit and click on the box "click here to connect phone" a wizard starts it goes till third step when it asks to connect mobile via cable it searches then says shows an error problem with usb connection. 2. Once the installed maps are read from the phone, Ovi tells me that 'Updated maps are available'. Clicking on this message Ovi the pointer changes to a combined left-right arrow and stays there.
3. Now Ovi goes and reads the phone again, looking for installed maps - this time it takes LONGER, before I have the option to update my maps. This process of course takes forever too, but at least this is understandable - loading large files takes time.
4. I have the maps of the US; Canada; UK Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland installed. Which one(s) will be updated?
5. Also I am back from Europe, I no longer need the Irish maps. Why can't I selectively delete/de-install them? Why do I have to delete ALL maps and reload the US and Canada?
