Aug 1, 2010I'm not sure if the developers involved with the design and release of the most recent Jailbreak read through these forums but, if they do I (and everyone else I'm sure) appreciate all the work you've done for the iPhone community. I know very little about coding but am sure an enormous amount of time and energy go into creating a Jailbreak.
Again, I just wanted to take the time to express my gratitude.

It is also pretty laggy in 3D mode.It drains a lot of battery life also.I just wanted the people at apple to know the problems in their beta so that they can fix the problems. Aug 23, 2010Considering the poor performance of ios4 on the iphone4, I'm inclined to wonder did the developers have any phones to test it on. Some of the bugs are so blatantly obvious typing lags dreadful Bluetooth performance and that awful proximity sensor bug. I waited several weeks after US launch mainly to allow all bugs to be ironed out but that didn't work. Cmon apple get your finger out. You dropped the ball on this one.

May 11, 2010Now this is speaking from a DEVELOPER point of view. Would you like to see iPhone exclusivity stop? To me, yes, obviously, because this means the App Store can be in more hands, and my apps can have a MUCH larger audience. Yes I know there is a lot of market share already, but look at VZW, T-Mob etc and if we got their eyes on our apps. you should be able to fill in the rest. Jan 26, 2010When I got my 5800 I was incredibly unimpressed with pretty much every aspect of it. Utter rubbish.I went online and checked out Nokia's Ovi store and there were about 3 apps there, none of which any good.
Thought I'd use Ovi again today. I couldn't remember what password I used so I went through the password retrival service on my phone. To do this you need to type in some letters displayed onscreen. Only the image doesn't work. On Nokia's phone, running Nokia's app, Nokia's password retrieval is impossible. This typifies everything about Nokia - unwieldy and clunky solutions that fail at every step. Nothing is straightforward or simple to use.
Finally logged on (after going on my PC). Logged on via my phone, went to download an App and "Cannot download due to an error".

My daughter just got a new iPhone 4S, and I found out that she never updated her old 3G (which is now mine). At 1.6MB/sec it's alright, but after about 100MB the download rate goes to 2.1kb/sec! And that is just unacceptable!
