Got my phone on the 23rd and dont want to remove the screen and back protector that came with the phone during shipment.
Issues I am having:
1) Screen is all linty from being in my pocket
2) Pictures don't come out to great
3) Can't hear very well when making a call
4) Tobacco leafs get stuck
I have a 2G iphone and have like 3 screen protectors sitting around (ordered in pack of 5). so my girlfriend is getting a 3GS, will one of my screen protectors fit the new phone or should we buy a new one?

View 15 Replies View RelatedI'm getting my first iPhone and would like advice on protecting the front screen. I have an iPod Touch 2nd gen and even with babying the thing it has a scratch. It is just a tiny one but it is noticeable because the light shines through that spot differently. I really have babied it, keeping it in a case, not putting it in my pocket with other things, etc. I would be extremely upset if the same thing were to happen to my iPhone.
Have the materials improved enough with the iPhone 4 not to have to worry about scratches? If I need to buy a protective film, which one? I really love the smooth feel of the glass on my Touch, is there a protective film that preserves that feel?
I just logged on to my account and it says shipped. (Ordered yesterday afternoon). I didn't even get an email or anything. Nice little surprise. It'll arrive tomorrow but I don't have a case or screen protector for it. Any recommendations?
I have been trying in vain to remove my screen protector (I think I may even have two on there). I tried a hair dryer on low, a razor blade, a pin, my fingernail, thin paper...I cannot get this thing off!

I purchased an Ifrogz case as well as Ifrogz screen protectors. I just put it on and it definitely makes the screen look worse. Nothing awful but you can definitely tell there's something on it. Should I just go for the Invisible shield or am I just being too crazy about having a shield? Is one really needed?

View 8 Replies View RelatedJust a quick heads up to others buying matte or 'privacy' screen protectors (mine is from PhoneDevil, they're really good quality btw), the ones made for the older iPhones will really dampen the sharpness and pop on the new Retina Displays on the iPhone 4. Also, the cutouts for the speaker and home button just about fit, but the front camera becomes fuzzy because its covered.
I'm willing to sacrifice these for now since I have no one to facetime with and I'm a bit OCD about fingerprints and scratch protection which are dealt with. I'm just hoping a manufacturer produces an updated iPhone 4 version which won't have such a noticeable effect on screen quality. Damn you Apple for your making me accustomise to such an amazing screen so quickly
Now that the new glass is supposed to be incredibly strong and scratch resistant, will you still find yourself getting a screen protector? I don't know about me, i have never really had a scratch problem with my iPod Touch and now if the glass is as strong as they say it is, i doubt it could scratch unless you purposely do it yourself. With that being said i am still nervous leaving the screen unprotected because you can't really remedy the situation if the screen does somehow get scratched. So how about it, will you put a screen protector on your new iPhone 4?

Some what to know the mm size and I think I figured it right 38mm by 64mm. The reason why I only want to cover the actual screen is because I'm getting a SkinIt for it and it covers the back and front but doesn't include the screen to protect, unless I can put a full front clear screen protector plus add the skinit for around the non screen area? Unlike the "how to apply an HTC protector" video, does this part only have one layer to peel off and thus only one tab? Should I apply it or risk my screen? View 3 Replies View RelatedI recently purchased a ZAGG screen protector full body armor for my Milestone. I followed the given instructions and left the phone for a few days for the protector to completely attached itself to my phone. The problem is and im not sure if anyone else noticed but when i turn on my phone. I noticed that the display seems to have that red/orange effect but especially worse on a white background. It seems like a red/orange rainbow crystal effect, like tiny crystallized red dots all over the screen. I decided to leave the phone for a few more days that perhaps it is just the solution but it is still there. So, i removed my ZAGG and replaced with a new spare ZAGG (I bought 2 ZAGG protectors.) and this time, I tried it out WITHOUT any of the solution and still no luck.
I phoned ZAGG customer service and they said that it could be a defective ZAGG product. I am still waiting for the replacement and decided to get another second opinion from another customer service. She mentioned that it could be becuase i put too much solution but I did try it out WITHOUT the solution. So now i wasted 2 ZAGG protectors and no luck. Anybody else here in HF has put on a screen protector on a Milestone having the same effect as mine?

I recently purchased & installed a invisible Shield protector on my Samsung SGH-T749 & it was a bit of a struggle to get it right. When it completely dried, I noticed several small black specks that were large enough to make a bump that can be felt with a fingernail & holds the film up a bit. I had purchased a couple of discounted IS packs for discontinued phones for $2.49 & looked at one of them & saw the same specks under the film. This sample had never been removed from the backing, but had specs on it's back side too. I emailed Zagg & tole them about the specks & got the following response. (Now, they do offer to replace the product, but it is apparent that they don't feel that the specks are their fault, or they don't believe me, as they don't mention the specs at all. I am not going to get mine replaced & am looking for an alternative.) BTW The credit card pre-charges & requiring me to return the "defective" one don't constitute a "courtesy replacement", in my mind. They called it an "installation difficulty!" Incidentally, the product shows a bit of "orange peal" texture that is not very attractive.

I've been using an E72 for quite a while, and now the camera cover piece ( this piece ) has a smal gap on the lens side... I've been trying to press it back, but I can't.What I want to know is if there is any safe way to take this piece out so I can try to fix it. I've forced the piece out and it seems to be glued so I stopped before I got it damaged...
