IPhone :: Reload My Purchased Ringtone After Resetting 4?
Apr 23, 2012
I reset my iphone because of syncing problems. I have a ringtone that Ihad purchased a while back and can't seem to get it to load back on my phone. It shows in Itunes in my purchased folder. I have checked and unchecked the tone, turned my phone off then on and it still doesn't load.
I purchased a ringtone for my iPhone last week and today it's completely missing! I can't find it in my purchases from iTunes, but I do have a receipt for it in my email. When I click in the "report a problem" link from the receipt, I get a message saying cannot connect to the iTunes Store. I can manually go to the iTunes Store just fine... it's only when I click the "report a problem" link in the receipt. I've looked throughout my my iPhone, my iTunes purchases, and nothing....
I just bought a ringtone, and it took the payment from my account, but the tone is nowhere to be found; not in the library or anywhere. If I push the purchase button again, will it charge me again? Or are there any other tips?
I got a new iphone 4 phone a couple days ago bc i was having issues with my original iphone 4. I purchased a ringtone on itunes on the iphone. Can I get that on my new iphone?
I see all the default ringtones and the ones i have created myself in the menu for choosing textones but not the ringtones i have purchased from itunes.
Note - these ringtones were purchased before it was possible to buy other tones separately I want to set the "Yoda - Text Message" ringtone as my textone but it does not appear in the menu.
i bought a ringtone from ITunes on my Iphone 4s but can't find it in the sounds. When I plug the phone into my PC the ringtone shows but a bit greyed out?

I've had an Atrix2 since Mid-Nov.2011, and have really had no problems with it so far except a couple apps freezing and having to reboot the phone. But just recently, when I have had to reboot the phone (y'know just cuz u need to reboot a computer sometimes to make it work better) the ringtones I have set as the main ringtone and the notification sounds get reset to random mp3 songs I have downloaded on the phone. It's a different one every time this has happened, too. It doesn't even reset to the AT&T tone that it came with. I have two apps that may affect it. "Zedge Ringtones" and "MP3 Ringtone Maker." This also happened the other day but didn't notice it till my alarm went off to wake up in the AM. The audio for THAT was not was previously set. So, I really don't know HOW this is happening. I do have an aftermarket alarm app called "Alarm Clock Plus." (I have a separate issue with the factory alarm app for another thread)
I have a problem with my 6p that been bothering me for a while now. Whenever I change the ringtone on the phone to a Zedge tone or one of the defaults that came with the phone, it always resets to "KeypressReturn" within 2 days. When someone calls, the phone only vibrates which cause me to miss a lot of calls.
I accidentally checked the "always" box before choosing Droid Storage Data when selecting a ringtone and now I'm trying to figure out how to undo that choice. I used to have the option of selecting Handsent SMS, which would allow me to pick songs from my music library as ringtones and alarms. how I can get this option back?
i bought a ringtone that was delivered by text from cellsea. i thought it would show up in Ringtones in settings. It didn't. How do you get the ringtone into the ringtone library so it can be hooked to a incoming ring
I downloaded a ringtone maker and i made a few ringtones but i cant figure out how to set it as my ringtone im not that good with itunes either someone said i needed to change the format of the ringtone
This is an unusual situation. I have this ringtone that is a song about a cartoon character. Some kids texted it to me and I saved it in my ringtones folder. Later I tried to text it to a couple family members. On one of the attempts, it didn't attach because I hit the wrong selection (not sure what).Anyway, ever since, the song comes on constantly and plays all the way through. For example, if I receive a text, the normal text alert sound goes off. But afterwards, the song starts to play and I can't stop it until it has played through. If I receive an instant message from someone on Blackberry Messenger, the normal message alert sound goes off, but afterwards the song starts and again plays all the way through. If I make a call, after I hang up the song goes off and plays all the way through. If I send an email, as soon as I hit send button, the song goes off and plays all the way through. Nothing I have tried seems to work.I have checked all my ringtone and contact settings. I have deleted the ringtone/song from my ringtone file and deleted the few messages and emails on phone where I forwarded it to myself or a family member. Putting the phone on silent doesn't seem to work. Once the song starts, I cannot stop it until it plays all 30 seconds. Anyway, I still have the same problem and the song will not quit playing. So, I think you can see my dilemma. Anyone have suggestions on how to fix this problem? I thought maybe it had a virus, but no one that I know who has the ringtone has the same problem as me. I did recently install a new update/upgrade of the Blackberry operating system. Do you think it is a problem with the update?
I removed my Safari to load a web tracking browser that was not compatible with Safari. I removed per the instructions of the new web browser. I want to delete this web browser now and reload Safari. The biggest inconvenience with the other browser is its inability to link with email or messages and so I have to load URL's manually.
My iphone 4s cant start, I have tried hard restart by pressing the two buttons at the same time, the apple icon appears and then the reload sign appears for a few second, then it turns back to the apple icon again, and the cycle continues.
This happens with literally every single e-mail I get! I have to refresh Mail twice to make messages stay in my inbox, else new messages disappear and do the same thing the next time the iPhone checks for e-mails (which is very annoying because if I leave it it'll vibrate over and over again because of just one e-mail).Restoring doesn't do it, and my iPod touch actually does the same thing too.
I read this in a post somewhere on the forums and I just want to make sure. Could someone with a 3GS on iOS4 verify this by opening up Safari, opening up 8 full sized webpages (not mobile formatted webpages), going back to the home screen and opening up the most graphic/memory intensive app you have (Real Racing or something), playing around with it for a bit and then going back into Safari and checking each tab for content?
Trying to start a game app it couldn't connect. Then Game center is now stuck in "loading" mode. Is there a way to reload the game enter app or force quit?
iPhone won't reload. Lost battery power and the phone would not turn on after charging. Tried the restore and get to "Restoring phone" but the status bar on the phone never fills in. Restarted my Mac, did not have a problem connecting with Apple.
