A fellow I work with owns a Xenon. He received a .jpg from someone that he wanted to move into a file folder. So he creates the folder but then can't figure out how to move the file INTO it.Menu options, touch-dragging, holding down the icon for the image hoping for a menu nothing. He sees that he can move the file between phone memory and his SD card... but he doesn't want to do that. JUST wants to move the file into the file folder he made.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a factory unlocked version of an HTC One M8 on AT&T running 4.4.3. I noticed a week ago I was having issues with Pocketcasts freezing. It stored its files on the SD card so I moved them to the phone storage. It seems to be working fine now. This week I have been taking pictures with my HTC M8 and the gallery freezes and the picture will turn blank with a triangle in it. The camera stores pictures on the SD card also. If I touch the picture the phone locks up.

View 14 Replies View RelatedI have just purchased a shiny new Xperia PLAY a week ago, it came with a 8GB microSD card and within a few days I filled the card up. So, I thought I would get a bigger card and bought a 16GB microSD card as I would like to put more games and alot of my music on it as well
How would I go about transferring or copying all the files that are on the 8GB card to my 16GB card without losing any downloaded data i.e large game files and game saves? CAN THIS BE DONE? As I am new to Android, any step by step advice would be great by the way!
One thing I did try was copying all the data on the 8GB card to a folder on my PC (whilst enabling the 'view all hidden files and folders' option in XP) and copied the folder contents to the new 16GB card (pre formatted to FAT32). I put the new card in the phone but cannot access the games without having to re-download the GBs of data needed and all my games progress has disappeared along with a few games and some needed game data. e.g NFS Hot Pursuit starts but will not play!
I would like to move my MOG downloads off of misc. on to the external SD card. How do I do this?
View 4 Replies View RelatedHow to install .xap files in L1020?? From what I know that if we manually install .xap files, we need move the files to SDcard & the files will appeared in the Store with "SDcard" option.
This was what I search from the internet & the step was explained on the Windows Phone Store also. How about L1020 which there's no SDcard support??
And then play either certain albums or just random shuffle play all.

View 4 Replies View RelatedWhen I plug in my phone via USB and try to transfer files from the phone to the card I get:
Waiting: Samsung-SM-G900V is busy.
I can transfer them to a temp folder on my PC, then move them to the card. But, can't do it directly from phone to card as I used to be able to.
It still works fine on Win7.
I received the 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) OTA update for my Droid Razr on Tuesday morning July 3, 2012. The install was uneventful. One feature of the previous operating system I use frequently is File Manager. I noticed that after the OTA update to ICS that the feature to "Move" does not work, or at least doesn't allow me to move files from Internal Storage to the SD Card. I searched the Forums and didn't find any discussions about File Manager not working the same in ICS as it did in Ginger Bread. I read the numerous marketing guides and preparation documents that were published on the Motorola Razr website and didn't read anything about File Manager changing. I downloaded the new Razr Operating Guide for ICS and found no discussion about File Manager being different.
I tried Motorola Live Chat and ended up getting referred to Level 2 Tech Support. I have powered the device off and on numerous times in the last 48 hours. I have also done a Power + Volume Down restart but the Move option is still not working. Specifically, I can select a file from a folder in Internal Phone Storage and select Move. I can press the Back arrow-key but as soon as I am back at the File Manager main screen (so I can select SD Card), the option to Move disappears. If I press SD Card (like I did before with Ginger Bread) the Move button does not reappear at the bottom of the page.

View 6 Replies View RelatedMy iPhone 3G is being recognised perfectly happily by iTunes, but absolutely nothing else. It doesn't appear in Finder and doesn't open iPhoto when I plug it in, so I can back up my photos.
I've tried restarting both the Mac (which is running Snow Leopard) and the iPhone. I've tried several cables. The result is always the same. iTunes spots the iPhone (it did use to automatically open iTunes, but I stopped that) and nothing else. No icon on the desktop, no appearance in Finder and won't show in any searches I do.
How can I fix this, and start backing up photos again?
Is it possible without root to get rid of these from the notification drawer? I thought initially that s finder was handy but have never used it and what quick connect is (when i click on it all it does is turn bluetooth on??) which is stupid because the bluetooth toggle is directly above it!
