I want to recover my files for my ipod?

I had a 1G ipod touch for a while and ad my collection in itunes and the ipod. Then due a hard drive failure, I had to start itunes over because after that point, I finally got an external hard drive. My ipod died during the process (unrelated). This happened a little while ago, and my new iPhone is set to be delivered in a couple days. Are my paid apps lost forever? I am afraid to download any paid apps since I'm not sure if I will be charged for it. Is there any way to recover them?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI used to have an old LG flip-phone and an iPod Touch. I lost the iPod Touch about six months ago. This week I got my iPhone. I had to go to the Verizon store to have them take all the contacts off the LG phone and put them onto my iPod.Â
I had painstakingly pared down my iTunes music library to choice selection of checked items that were small enough to fit on the iPod touch. I didn't want to go through that process again, so I hooked my iPhone up to my computer for the first time, opened iTunes, and synced with the iPod touch backup on my computer. It would have been smart to have backed up the iPhone first, but I didn't. Since I couldn't text with the iPod Touch, it didn't occur to me that the existing texts on my iPhone would be overwritten.Â
Now all the media files and apps from my old iPod Touch are on my new iPhone 5. The new iPhone apps I downloaded yesterday are on there, too. But the contacts and texts have vanished.Â
To review: no iTunes backup of iPhone data. No iCloud backup, either-- I've never used iCloud before.Â
I downloaded Wondershare's iPhone Data Recovery program and used it to scan data on the device. The scan shows 0 contacts and only the 2 text messages that I've received this evening. Curiously, it does have my entire call history from the last week.Â
So is there any way to recover the texts from this last week?

When I updated my 4s to the IOS 5.1 the back up did not work. I had to restore since my phone was going wack and now the back up is saying it wont work and it will not let me sync. Is there any way I can get my backup files, I can not afford to lose them. Do they save somewhere on the computer? I am just so mad that I lost all my photos and memos and all that good stuff.

View 1 Replies View RelatedYesterday, I picked up a new iPhone 4. I went to work, downloaded 4.0.1, downgraded the phone successfully, and jailbroke it. I hit the "Make it Easy" button and figured that when I got home I'd capture the SHSH files using Umbrella.By the time I got home, Apple had stopped signing 4.0.1 - I must have squeaked by just in time. Cydia still says, "Pending TSS request", but I think that means that Cydia didn't get it in time.Is there any possible way to get the blobs off of the PC at work? I know that itunes deleted them as soon as it was done with them, but has anyone ever recoverd them before? I hadn't done much with the PC the rest of the day, so there's a pretty good chance that they haven't been overwritten yet.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy kid locked my LG G3 by entering many times a wrong unlock pattern. Now I can see just a lock screen and I can't use the two available options to unlock it which are:
1. entering a PIN - I didn't set one
2. unlocking with my Google account - I don't have Internet and I cant use this. I can neither turn my data connection on nor enable my wi-fi because I can only see the lock screen.
This is how my phone is somehow soft bricked, because I can't do anything with it. I can only reset it by removing all files and settings from recovery mode but I want to save my files. So, the question is how can I recover my files in this situation? Here are all of the details:
- my phone is not rooted
- I can enter in download and recovery mode
- I DO NOT have usb debugging on, I can't use ADB
- I remember my unlock pattern and my Google account credentials, but I can't use them.
- I don't have Android Device Manager enabled, I can't unlock from: google.com/android/devicemanager
I have a Samsung galaxy s5, sm-g900a. I installed an app "callx call recorder" and accidentally deleted the files. I need these files for a custody battle and cannot find any way to recover the deleted files. The files were stored on the device, not the sd card. The phone is encrypted, and was before the loss of the files. It is imperative that I recover these files for my case.

View 1 Replies View RelatedSo I accidentally deleted files off my internal storage in an attempt to free it up (it said miscellaneous but didn't realise this included all my received whatsapp pics and videos).
So I've read that I need to root my phone in order to try recover these, I've so far downloaded odin and ran the pda which passed. Then I put SUSuper I think on my internal storage and from this point my phone stopped following the tutorial.
Earlier today I decided to have a new wallpaper onto my phone, unfortunately I didn't like how it looked so I decided to delete them. The problem began when I tried to delete them and I found out that the delete option is unavailable due to syncing them onto my phone and what's worse is that the original files are gone. Is there anyway I can get rid of these files?

I had an iPhone 3GS that was no longer under contract. Yesterday, I bought an iPhone 4S from Verizon and switched my phone number from the 3GS to the 4S. After transferring all of my apps and other data to the new 4S phone, I reset the 3GS to the original factory settings and gave it to my mother, to use as an iPod touch. It works fine. She can connect to wifi, check email, sync with iTunes, download apps under her iTunes account, etc. The phone has never been "jailbroken" or had SIM cards swapped out, or anything similar. It still has the original SIM card that that I bought the phone with, in August 2009.
Now that the 3GS is working as an iPod Touch, do I need to remove the SIM card? Should I? My concern is that AT&T will hit me with some nefarious fee at some point in the future for reasons that I don't understand. Should this be a concern?
