BB Curve :: Improve Battery Life/long Lasting Battery?
Dec 13, 2011Okay, so I'm on the move a lot, travelling to and from University each day which can take anywhere between 1-2 hours getting there and getting back. I'm always on my phone during travelling as there isb't much else to do and I like to keep in touch with friends. I use Facebook and the internet a lot on their and I understand this is why my battery runs down so quick. Using it for I'd say 3 or so hours and the battery is done, I usually take my usb cable to uni so I can charge it ready for the journey home. Is there anyway I can get the same usage out of it and not drain the battery so much? I am thinking of getting a new battery first off as I'd say the current one would not be able to achieve good life againt, but is there long lasting batteries I can get?

Mar 23, 2012For last 2 days now my iPhone hasn't been holding its charge, even in standby mode.
I took screen shots of it earlier and at 5:54am whilst in work the battery was at 82% then it stayed in standby in my pocket until the next screenshot I took and the percentage was falling fast, by 9:28 the percent was at 1.
Does anyone here know if there is anything I can do? I have restored the iPhone and also let the battery charge up to 100% from no charge in it and to no avail!
The phone is only a month and a half old and nothing has changed since the last 2 days so hard to understand why it has started doing this, brightness has always been at 100% so that's not affecting it.

Apr 18, 2012I am currently using ip4, iOS5.1. The problem I am having now is when my phone is fully charged, it just can't last long. I left my phone idle and without using it, it will automatically turned off. When I turned it on, the battery shown a value (example: 16 %), after a while, it shows higher battery life value (example: 32%). Then after some time, it automatically turned off again. Is this battery problem or software problem?

Jun 28, 2012I was unable to update my iOs by just using my phone, so I plug it to my computer on itunes but the internet connection here is quite poor, so I have to wait for 4 hours to complete my 802.8mb software update download, I plugged my phone in the computer at almost 75% battery charge, so if i wait until the software was fully downloaded my phone will be plugged for almost 3 hours and will be over-charged. does an iphone 4s battery be overcharged? or is it okay to plug it in a long time even if the battery reached its 100% charging level? and does it affect my battery life?

Jun 4, 2014Im not complaining to having 100% it is just that i believe something is wrong and its not accurate or its not showing me the correct percentage...
Phone was on 40%, i plugged my charger in and turned phone off for about 10-20 mins. Turned the phone back ON and now it is on 100, i hadn't seen my phone charge that fast.
I already unplugged charger and have tried to see if i can drain battery by going to full brightness and watch youtube videos, usually with watching one or two 5 mins videos i get to 97-98% but i'm still in 100.

Last night I checked the battery usage and noticed something called 'RILD' was using up 14% of my battery life. What is it? Can you get rid of it? In addition I noticed that it seems to be taking much longer to charge my battery now than it did before. Sep 5, 2012We send a droid razr for repair on 8/22 and it was received on 8/24. Received an email at 11:03 on 8/27 that the problem with the phone is not covered under the warrantee and to contact Motorola as soon as possible to authorize and pay for the repair. I agreed to pay $125 plus tax to repair the screen as long as the overheating and battery not holding a charge was looked into. Today I called to see what was going on and was advised that she (rep) has no idea and would send an email and get back to me within 24-24 hours. I advised that was not acceptable and I was sent to the Repair Escalation Department, Curtis advised me the exact same thing and when i explained that my phone has been with Motorola since 8/24 and they have had my payment since 8/27 and that originally I was advised that the repair would be done and the phone back to me within 5 business days and we were now at 8 and I needed to speak to a supervision he stated that he was the supervisor and there was no one above him to talk to. Someone please explain how I am getting the same exact information (none with a 24 to 48 hour wait time) from customer service and the Repair Escalation Department?
