Jun 17, 2012how the safari histroy on an iPhone, iPod and iPad works? I have children that use these devices and would like to be able to keep a track of them and what they are doing but I can't figure out how the history works, are they deleting it or is the device, I know my iPhone deletes the history on it but I have no real idea how it works or when it does it.

Jun 20, 2012A while back, when texting, the T would not press at all. It cleared up after a few months. Now, several keys will not type or will register another letter. Also, in Twitter or several apps, the button pressed will not connect, but instead another button. It will also move without being pressed as in switching from month view to day view in the calendar completely on its own. The screen will also shake up and down and I lose track of what I am reading. It is very, very aggravating. Has anyone been able to correct this on their iPhone. I have turn it completely off and back on, let it think about itself, etc.

Nov 24, 2010I mean with Xperia X10 and I know that there has to be an update! At least when I connect the phone to the laptop, that's what my PC Companion is telling me. But I can't go past the plug the cable and hold the back button. I tried both the companion and the update service but I can't go past the plug in and press back buttons. If I hold it for a longer period of time, the phone just turns back on.

Jul 24, 2010I have had the Bold 9700 since like the end of May 2010. This is actually my 2nd one because the first one I got was defective (the 3/R button didn't work)..so I got a new Bold 9700 via DOA. Two days ago, I noticed that my phone would restart when i press the two volume buttons at the same time. If I press one of them, it still works perfectly. However, I use a case so sometimes I accidentally hit the two volume buttons together and my phone reboots.I'm not too sure if this problem just started to occur like recently because I never noticed if I ever hit the volume keys together at the same times before. I don't think it's a software problem but I'm running on the original Rogers OS 5.0.0.351. I never bothered to upgrade because .351 seems to work pretty well already.

Dec 11, 2014I just got my new iPhone 6 and can't open safari. Every time it tries to open from either the app icon or within another app it crashes. It is a blank website in safari and then closes itself 5-10 sec later. I have cleared safari data history and downloaded chrome, but all of the apps default into chrome for links.

Jun 27, 2010Having just upgraded to the iPhone 4 from a 3G, I'm so used to everything working so smoothly that I'm starting to expect I can use it more like a computer. So its slightly disappointing to see that there's an 8-pages-open-at-a-time limit in Safari. For example, I like to click a bunch of thread links on macrumors just to read them one by one, but now you can only have eight at a time before the first ones you clicked start disappearing. Don't get me wrong, on the 3G after 3 pages were open, it would either start to get very slow or just crash, so this is a huge improvement, I just thought that with the 512mb of RAM it would be a bit more capable now. Was this the same situation as it was before? (mainly on the 3GS I guess)
