IPhone :: Downloaded An App When It Was Free And Deleted It Accidentally, Now It Is $.99
Apr 19, 2012
I downloaded an app when it was free and deleted it accidently. Now it is $.99. Can I download it for free since I've downloaded it once already? Just to be clear, I didn't syn my phone with my computer when I had the app. The particular app I want to download again just have install button instead of $0.99 then Buy App.I also have a question on how to pay apps. Itunes require you to put a credit card information to creat an account, but I took off my CC information after I created it. Since my account doesn't have any credit card information, how does apple charge me if I buy an app? Is it even possible to purchase one unless I put CC or giftcard on my account?
I accidentally deleted cydia. I have an iphone 4 and i have SSH installed as well as ifile and mterminal. Any idea how i can get my precious cydia back.
It's called "ea" located the main place which also contains "System".I deleted it and my phone boots into safe mode.Would somebody be nice enough to send me this file??
I just bought a friend's 2g iPhone (cheap!) and I've loaded several apps, pix and podcasts, but somehow I've deleted the default 'Compass' app (I'm directionally challenged). I have tried restoring several different ways, but nothing I try works. It looks like it's pulling info off of an Apple database on what basic apps I have (and what I've deleted), even though I've told it to set it up as a new phone. If this is so easy to do accidentally, it's definitely hard to find info on how to fix it!My wife has a 3GS, and hers has almost the exact same apps, but she still has her Compass. Is there a way to copy hers onto mine?
I accidentally deleted a contact off my Iphone 4S about 15 hours ago (I only had the contact on my phone for about 12 hours). I havent ever synced anything other than music with my Itunes account, and had not synced my phone while having this contact on my list.
I accidentally deleted a vociemail. I go to deleted messages and click the voicemail there and then click "Undelete", but it just disappears for a few seconds then reappears in "Deleted Messages". How do I get it back with the rest of my voicemails?
I had an iPhone 3 that was backed up on my PC's iTunes. It broke, so I got an iPhone 4S. Because of computer issues, I was not able to sync my new iPhone until tonight, about a month after I bought it. I already had some contacts and pictures on my iPhone 4S that were not saved to my computer or on my old iPhone 3. When I synced it for the first time, I restored the data that was on the iPhone 3 and deleted everything on the 4S. Even though my iPhone 4S data had not yet been backed up, is there any way I can get it back?
I've read the previous threads on this topic but none quite fit the bill. I need to re-install the Photos icon, which has disappeared.
This happened while I was holding my phone but not paying attention; when I looked again the icons were all shaking. I don't know how the icon disappeared because the factory defaults don't offer a delete option, but the icon definately disappeared at that time. The app itself is still there and, because it was running when I deleted the icon, I can currently still access it by double clicking the main button, where app (and icon) is still accessible there at the bottom of the screen. But this is not convenient for general usage, and if I hard close the app from there then I will have no way to open the Photos app.
I can't re-download the app because it is a factory default app and not available anywhere (and as such shouldnt be deletable!).The icon isnt hiding anywhere amongst my subfolders, and I've checked for restrictions but there arent any.Restetting the home screen layout to factory defaults presumably means I will lose all the other app icons I have, and their sub folders etc, which I dont want to do either.I have now backed up my phone and all my photos etc, but if I restore my phone from a previous backup, I will lose the data and messages I've acquired isince then. All I want to do is re-install the icon and make sure it links to the photos app that is still installed - surley that can't be so hard?
I accidentally erased and deleted all data from my iphone. In the process all the built in apps dissapeard so I now have a blank homescreen. Is there a way I can restore/download the built in apps via itunes?
I was using Opera and accidentally downloaded a large file to the root of C:.
Not a problem I thought, I'll just go to the file manager and delete it, but while the usage is there, I used up space on C:, the file can not be seen. It was a .png file.
Is there any way to delete that file? I use a Mac so I don't have Ovi software.
It seems that the entire calendar of my brand new iphone 4 (i.e empty calendar) has replaced my previous MS Exchange calendar. There are no items in the deleted box items. Any other way I can retrieve my previous calendar?
My one year old son accidently deleted one of the video clips saved in iphone 4s, which hasn't been backed up in itunes yet. Is there any way to recover the clip?
