6 months ago i synced my photos (950 of them) to my laptop. But my laptop crashed and i needed to restore it default, so what i did was i copied all synced photos back to my iphone to act as a temporary storage of my photos. but now im about to sell my iphone 4 and i need to transfer my photos back to my laptop i cant seem to do it!!! and im here and ive spent a good 5 hours researching and downloading third party apps just to do that to no success. Im getting frustrated as this should be a walk in the park but its complicated as **** with this phone. Im starting to hate this phone now as this shoud be very easy (just a copy paste) job for older phones with memory cards. ive used iExplore but it doesnt work it just shows the camera roll pictures which consists of recent ones but not the photo library ones..

I am wondering if there is a way to back up EVERYTHING on my iPhone as well as my Missus iphone but save it all on an external hard drive. The reason for this is my phone recently died beyond repair and I seem to have not backed up my movies songs and apps, needless to say it was extremely annoying. On top of this I am hoping to set it up so it backs up both phones daily over wifi automatically.I have looked on the Internet and can't seem to find the answer I'm looking for.

It would be useful, for instance, for unloading your reflex camera memory while you're travelling!
I am looking to do some traveling and would prefer to leave the laptop at home. I have a flash drive that needs to be used during that time but is locked and the information cannot be extracted or removed. It can only be accessed using the flash drive. Is there any way to make this work with XOOM?
View 2 Replies View RelatedJust bought Nokia Lumia 810 (T-Mobile) and downloaded the maps - the internal memory is ony 8gb. With OS and the Maps it takes up considerable space. Is it possible to move the map to the SD card? If yes any link or steps to do the same?
For using Nokia Drive - is it mandatory to download the maps? Just wondering how Google Navigation / Maps work for Android as I don't recall d/l any maps on Android!
I test drove the Nokia drive on couple of known locations and both times the paths chosen were uncommon - when comparing to the inbuilt GPS in the car as well as with Google Navigation! This was US maps. I hope Nokia Maps / Drive gets better.
I am trying view files on a mirco sd card so I am thinking about buying this:

View 3 Replies View RelatedRooted, kitkat 4.4.4. I like to backup my entire nexus 5 to a large external sdcard using ES file explorer and stickmount pro. After an initial copy of all files it would be nice if I could copy "only changed or new files".
The 32gb sdcard is formatted fat32 and although I can copy files from the phone to it my backup failed when I tried to copy large files. I get an error message saying that there isn't enough space which is nonsense because the external sdcard is almost empty! Not sure why.
I had a MacBook Air and a 6 year old desktop PC. Everything I had was on both of them, so they acted as each other's back up. This Sunday evening just gone, my PC finally died a traumatic death, and I can't even get it to boot from Safe Mode. Then on Monday while I was at work, my house was burgled, and my MacBook Air was stolen, amongst many other things. All I have now is my iPhone 4S which was with me at the time. All my music, photos, videos etc are on my iPhone, but I'm very aware that when I eventually get my replacement MacBook from our insurance company (I'm being realistic and accepting that I'll never see my stuff again), as soon as I plug my phone into a blank iTunes library, I'll lose everything that's on there. Obviously I can re-download everything I've purchased from iTunes, though it will take a VERY long time and I still won't have playlists etc, and I can probably either Dropbox or email what photos I have on there, but I have a lot of video clips from over the last few years that aren't on my camera roll - they're in the phone as proper videos, in the video player app, and I can't get Dropbox to view that location, or figure out how to email them. The videos are very important to me and I really don't want to lose them; so much so that I'm thinking of never syncing my iPhone ever again! Basically, what I'm asking is, how can I copy everything from my iPhone into a blank iTunes library?

I have Mass Storage mode turned on, but when I plug in the Blackberry with a USB cable, Windows does not show the media card as an external drive.
Windows sees the device because when I plugged it in, it said "Your device is ready to use". But no media card.
The Blackberry does see the memory card, and I can save/browse to it.
(I have the .743 version OS, but I had this problem with .630 too. Also, I tried on a Windows 7 and a Windows XP machine).
Is there / Could there be a way to directly plug an External Hard Drive directly to the Torch? Provided you have the right USB cable ends. Technically its a USB file system, so would the Torch read it like a MediaCard? Not for constant use, just media management.

View 8 Replies View RelatedHaving some issues accessing or even finding the photos stored on my device. iPhone 4S iOS 5.1 Image Capture only sees the "Camera Roll" (500 or so pictures in there) but I can't access anything else. Here's how my Photo Library is structured on my device:
Camera Roll (518)
Photo Library (2,385)
Old Camera (741)
Old Library (1,644)
I can't access the last three using Image Capture, iPhoto - can't even find any of these photos via 3rd party file browser utilites. I've also mounted the iPhone to disk but can't find photos anywhere. (I've tried showing/hiding hidden files in OS X - still nothing)

I sync photo albums from my HD to my iPhone using iTunes and the albums show fine on the phone, but I can't get rid of the golly darn PhotoLibrary album. If it has to exist to hold the photos, no problem,BUT I don't want it to SHOW---have tried everything for hours, except something that will work. And why can't I drag and drop images to the phone and not have the pain of iTunes?
