my phone was dead since ysterday and if i connect it to the charger/adapter it will display Connect to iTunes"however, if i connect it to my laptop using the usb it will only show the apple logo and it won't detect.I went to the retail store and my network subscriber which i bought my phone, they said my phone was corrupted. Is there anyone wants to help me on how to troubleshoot?
I just tried to update my software and not only can I not connect to my phone anymore but Itune won't detect my phone at all now, so I am sitting here like a freak with no phone?
Itunes will not detect my iphone. I have followed all the steps on the apple site. Restart, Use a difference USB, I am a macbook pro user. Any suggestions.
I can't find the answer why my iphone 4s got stuck in recovery mode. I think the only thing to fix this is thru iTunes but my PC can't detect it. My iphone 3g and 4 can detect but the 4s can't? I already checked the device manager but the apple mobile device driver doesn't show up for iphone 4s. I reinstall iTunes for how many times but still no luck. Â
I've been trying to connect my iphone to my macbook but it just would'nt be detected. I have tried different cables and computers but my iphone is still undetectable. It pretty clear that its my phone that has an issue rather than my computer. Also, i was using a rather loose usb cable and it frequently detaches itself from the phone with slight movement. When it happens, ill receive some error message for unplugging incorrectly, is that a possible cause for this and what will be the solution for that?
I am a lifelong apple user. I am running the latest IOS software on iTunes and my MacBook uses OS X 10.7.3. All of the software is up to date. I was originally upset because iPhoto and Image Capture would not detect my iPhone 4 but I got over it. Now iTunes won't detect the phone and that is not ok. I searched the forums but I didn't find anything that has resolved the issue. I cannot delete iTunes and reinstall because my computer tells me it is "required by OS X". Therefore, searching finder and deleting then re installing will not work.
my problem is my iPhone 3GS couldn't detect my SIM card. Only when I tap harder and hold it the message pop up saying No Sim installed and No service. I tried re-putting it in but no change.
Before updated to iOS 5.1 and iTunes 10.6, there was no problem for iTunes to detect my phone in order to perform wifi sync, but after updated to the latest firmware for both platforms, the issue occured. iTunes couldn't detect my iPhone even though both were under same wifi network. I ever sync via wifi before, so I've done those settings. Now when the issue occur, I need to reboot the iPhone, then it works again. The issue happened each day. Very frustrating and unreliable and inconsistance. My Mac iTunes has no problem to detect the iPad2 (OS 5.0). The problem only happen to my iPhone (OS 5.1). No such thing happen before during OS 5.0.
Windows 7, iphone 4g, all up to date firmwar, software and operating systems on phone, computer and itunes.Diagnostic on USB ports come back as fine and working. Itunes doesnt detect phone and in my computer the iphone is not showing up as a detected device. I have removed and deleted everyone apple component and software that is on my computer and reinstalled.Still nothing.
My iPhone 4S Bluetooth doesn't detect other devices. I have Bluetooth turned on, but it is continually searching for devices and never seems to find any.
I bought my iPhone last week from a friend, and took it to the AT&T store and it connected to the wifi there. When I brought it home it didn't even detect my network unless I was standing right next to my dad's computer, which is above our router. It will connect in any other area with wifi, just not at home. I have tried restoring it from a recent back up, and as a new phone. I have turned it on and off, I have tried resetting the network settings. Nothing works. I don't the taking it to the genius bar would be much help because my phone is out of warranty and I don't want to pay $200.00.
My iPhone's Wi-Fi suddenly stopped detecting/locating any networks. When I go to Settings-->Wi-Fi, all I see is the "Choose a Network..." spinning wheel and no networks are detected despite the fact that I have my own Wi-Fi network at home and there are additional neighbor's Wi-Fi networks. My MacBook Pro and a MacBook in my home are able to locate and connect to my home Wi-Fi network. Troubleshooting steps: I have restarted the router, I have reset the network settings, and have restored the iPhone from backup; however, the problem persists.
Last evening, the i phone battery had died, after charging my 3g iphone, prompts showed a cable (connecting to itunes) update.
So i connected it and ran the update, it said after updating i could restore my contacts and messages. ( Earlier that day we updated our macbook to the osx lion and moved our moble me account to the icloud)
I was not given the option to "restore contacts, messages, information" ( As is customary when updating my iphone)
Note: After the update was complete, ( updated to 4.2.1) IT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE 5.1. (BUT that may be because I have an old 3G iphone??)
Then all it offered me was syncing options, so I "sync"ed "it". Now, all my iphone messages, contacts, phone history, purchased apps...... are "GONE'
Info: iPhone 3G, iOS 4.2, Phone prompts said connect to itune
