Jul 5, 2010Yesterday and today my email accounts will not re-validate (if thats a word). I read all the messages about passwords being "incorrect" which affects validating email accounts and this is my problem. I have done the same thing: changed passwords, tried logging in through the computer and showing the password so i know its correct etc. I have even waited hours before attempting to validate my email again.

May 4, 2012This week I tried to join Itunes in order to set up my new Iphone. When entering my personal information it prompted that ai already had an account set up.I thought perhaps I had done this in the past and forgotten about it, so continued and asked for a password re-set which was emailed to my address. With password and account set up I proceeded to set up my Iphone. It was only when I tried downloading Apps I noticed it was picking up Apps in Australia and not UK.
I went into the account details and saw the details of person with exactly the same name and year of birth as me living in Australia, not in the UK as I do. I had access to everything, credit card details, DOB, security questions, the lot. I promptly deleted all this and replaced with my own details and changed passwords again. As soon as I could I called Apple who said it was probably an error and said that the account was for my email address so now all the details are changed it should be ok.

I've looked through settings but when I get to where I can change it to my apple id it prompts for a new password including a number. My apple id does not have a number in it. I recently installed Apple's icloud on my PC, linking Outlook 2010 with my iPad. Prior to this I would sync my Blackberry with Outlook. Now that I have icloud installed, Outlook has another account, icloud.I understand I can only sync one Outlook account with my Blackberry, via the Blackberry desktop software. I've gone into the Organizer> Configure settings> Advanced, and try to map the folder associated with icloud. When I go to click on the expand box (plus sign), I get an error box that comes up:Runtime error Error Encountered. Error code 0x80043bea. Check documentationI have no way to now sync my blackberry with my other devices which are now sync'ed with Outlook via icloud.

Apr 13, 2012I don't think I have activated iMessage on either my phone (4s) or my iPad (2). I can't seem to get it activated. On the iPad, when I open "Messages," it brings me to a screen that asks me to sign in with my Apple ID to activate iMessage. When I sign in, the next screen asks me what email I want to use, and then shows my mac email address. Then, when I press "Next" it pops the message "iMessage Activation. Unable to verify email because it is already in Use." On the iPhone, under settings, iMessage is on. Under "Receive at" it has my correct phone number. But, I don't pay for a messaging service with AT & T since I don't receive many messages. When I do, it looks like I'm being billed for those to and from another iPhone. So am I really using iMessage on my Iphone? When I click on "Use your Apple ID for iMessage" I get taken through the same routine as on my iPad and end with a message "Unable to verify."
