IPhone :: Why Does My 3gs Close Apps Before They've Loaded
Apr 12, 2012
Whenever I open apps on my iPhone 3GS, the phone closes out of the app before it even opens. It does this with all of my apps, such as Messages, Safari, and any game or other app I try to open on my iPhone.
I have rooted (unlockroot) my X-Play, but need help uninstalling preloaded software. Can't seem to download Titanium from app store as it stayed at 2% for almost an hour (46 minutes). Where do I start to uninstall?
only had my Atrix2 (first Android phone) since February. One issue I have is that I thought multitasking was supported in Gingerbread? Maybe I just don't know how to use it right? I listen to a radio station stream online and I've yet to find an app that streams it as well as straight from the site, problem is is if I'm streaming it from the site I can't close the window and do other things on my phone. Also, multitasking in general seems like it doesn't really work right. I came from the "evil" that is Apple and sorry to say the multi-tasking on that platform was almost flawless.
Second concern is clunky pre-loaded apps. Specifically the messaging, music player, and camera app. The messaging app just isn't intuitive. There are far to many steps involved to include photos and things into the message. The music player, wow, where to start. It seems like more of an afterthought. Works more like a file manager than a music player. And the camera app, just seems buggy and hangs up on menus and in between taking photos. Well, we'll see if any of that improves when ICS comes out. I haven't played with any demo phones to see if the new stuff is better.
i have a nokia 5530 xm. i had some corrupted music files in my music library so i made a back up-file on the computer and erased everything on the memorycard. Then i loaded all the stuff back on the memorycard. But then almost all my apps were gone, so i tried to download them again. But i can't click the 'download' button (it's dark gray, like if you've already clicked it) so i think the ovi store remembers that i have downloaded the apps before and it's like i have got them on my phone but i have checked all the installed apps and all the installation files in the application manager but they aren't there.
I have opened up some apps, particular two games, and they close while it is starting up. I would think this has something to do with the apps not being updated yet to iOS 4. Has anyone else noticed this on heir iPhone 4?
So I feel like when I have a lot of open Apps, I'm unnecessarily using battery life. I then have to close all open Apps individually. Is there any way to kill all open Apps with one punch? Also, are open Apps draining battery life in the background?
the home button doesnt work whatsoever, but...... phone acts as if someone is repeatedly hammering on it! apps open and close all by themselves, voice dialling (altho disabled) . phone turns itself on after ive switched it off.. also when pressing on/off button phone just takes a photo of home screen. Phone was working fine 2 weeks ago . ive tried re-setting, deleting everything, reinstalling , hoovering, checking headphone port and charging port, but cant get the poxy thing working properly!
I have am x6, and in the main am happy with it. However as previous owner of 3 diff n series, there are a couple of usability issues that drive me up the wall! For instance, i came to rely on the 'menu plus c' shortcut to quickly close apps. But no matter where i look, i haven't found a similar shortcut on the x6. Which means closing apps can only be done by going back in and doing it manually from within the app. Annoying and slow Is it me, or has that kind of shortcut been removed? Can anyone help? Thanks in advance kenty
I expose my problem, since I update my software, when i use apps like Web, e-mail or Maps, It always shuting off after connexion, i try to reset my phone, update back my software but he still wont open.
Just noticed an odd behavior - if I have Groove open in the background (and a few others like News, Weather, etc), when I plug in the USB wall charger, the apps close. Some stay open though. But Groove definitely closes.
I've noted that when I leave some apps, by pressing "home" button, the app doesn't close. In particular, I use 'Ultimate Password Manager'.It's passworded to get into it, but after using it and leaving, if I go back to it again, it's already open, no password needed. What if I had lost the phone in the meanwhile? This particular app doesn't have a "quit" function to it. Makes me wonder about other programs as well.Do they "automatically" close when you leave them?
Every time I want to use the Camera on my curve it says (could not start the camera. Close other applications and try opening the Camera again)? How do I fix this as I am not aware of other app running?
When trying to select my camera, my phone comes up with a black screen then a warning message saying "Could not start the camera, Close all other applications and try opening the camera again". I have gone thru every thing on my phone to make sure there is nothing open or running and cannot find anything.
I have also taken the battery out and started the phone up again. This has happened in the past, it stayed like this for a couple of weeks then all of a sudden one day it just worked, not sure what happened or why, but it would be great to have a quick fix solution to this problem.
Well, my Xperia Z2 foto it's update last week, I guess it's to the new lollipop firmware. And although I don't even care for the new styling (I liked the old one better) I can get use to that. But there are a few things that are really not an improvement.
Where in the last version it was pretty easy to select silent and vibration mode by pulling down the top of the screen. Now I can't figure out how to select vibrate notification anymore.I can't close all the open apps at one time anymore where there was a button for that in the last versionAnd I can't close my browser Window anymore.
I started noticing that this week. From the recent app window, when I Swipe an app left or right to close it, the app hangs/freezes at the edge of the screen before it completely goes away. It's so strange and annoying.
I cleared both app and device cache and still same lag. I'm running everything stock and I'm on 5.1.1
MY CAMERA ON MY BLACKBERRY CURVE 8520 KEEPS DISPLAYING (cannot start camera close apps n try again!) THERES NO APPS OPEN AV TRIED TAKING THE BATTERY OUT! I DOWNLOADED DESKTOP MANAGER THAT IS NOT PICKING UP THE USB CONNECTION, BUT I CAN SEND MUSIC N PICS 2 MY COMP ECT... I REALLY AM AT MY WITS END I WANT A SOLOUTION THAT IS REALLY GOING TO WORK!
It happens all the time even if nokia map is the only app running I think the reason is my phone memory is almost full there is less than 1 mb left and I cant find any thing to delete via phone manager in the phone memory either empty folders or folders which have only hundreds of bytes, when I check the phone memory it says 85 mb used 36 mb sis apps and 48 mb other files and I cant find any of them. Btw I am afraid to delete some of these files cause they may be system apps
I bought Blackberry 9380 on July 9th..suddenly in mid-august the camera stopped working. It says close other applications before using camera. I went to the Blackberry service centre - they are saying water has been detected in the camera socket. I am very sure I didn't spill any water on my phone neither it fell into water. The cost estimate for repairing the camera is around Rs. 14000/-. Imagine a touch screen, 5 mp phone without operating camera.
