LG G4 :: Unable To Open Textra From Recent Apps Listing?
Aug 26, 2015Not been able to open Textra from the recent apps listing? I had it happen with Facebook messenger too but I'm more concerned with Textra.
I get a toast message saying could not start Textra and nothing else it drops me back on my home screen.
Is this a G4 issue, a Textra issue, or something I can change?
Nokia :: N97 Mini Unable To Open List Of Installed Apps
May 10, 2010In the 'application management' menu on my N97 Mini, I'm unable to open the list of installed apps. The system just returns to the 'application management' page. I've looked around a bit on the internet, and found out that it may be due to the number of installed apps on the phone being too large. I do admit, I'm not really restricting myself with regard to that, but I also think I should not have to be. And of course, there are workarounds, but for some functions, like changing the settings of some applications, the list of installed apps is necessary.
Questions:
1. Can the problem be resolved? After all, I didn't pump the thing full of Micro-SD memory for nothing.
2. Does Nokia know about this bug? Is it or has it been taken care of?
3. What's the limit on the number of installed apps for the application management to function correctly?

Jun 14, 2015A few months ago, I dropped my phone (the day before my case came in the mail, of course) and the screen went fuzzy, much like an old box tv for several minutes, then rebooted several times before catching up to itself. I'm not sure what on earth happened because of this drop, but since then I have had a huge amount of issues.
First- I cannot complete certain updates on my phone, including some system updates such as for "extras+info" and "Lumia Camera". I get the error code 80070539 on these failed updates, but I do not believe that is the real reason these apps will not update. One method I used to fix this was to make sure I accepted updated terms and conditions for Microsoft, which completed some updates, but I still have several left waiting.
Second- Several apps and processes just do not work at all. Example: settings>applications>photos+camera the screen begins to flip over to the photos+camera menu, then abruptly stops before returning to the applications menu. This exact scenario happens to several other processes throughout the phone, including the calendar app, adding new emails and accounts, etc.
Third- I cannot backup my phone. This is a major problem as I have an abundance of files that I desperately need on my phone, but whenever I attempt to backup my phone, it may make it up to 97% maximum before it says the backup failed. This is the primary reason I haven't attempted a hard reset yet, and I would prefer to avoid doing a hard reset unless we can manage to fix at least the backup issue.
Fourth- My computer will not recognize my phone. I am running a laptop with Windows 8.1, all my drivers are up-to-date, I've uninstalled/reinstalled drivers, etc. but the computer doesn't even recognize that I plug the phone in, even though my phone still charges at a normal rate. I have also tried different computers and different cables. Nothing has proven useful. There is not a place in my computer that I can find a trace of detection of my phone, not under devices/drives/anything.
I will try just about anything that doesn't involve losing all of my data.

Apr 11, 2012I cannot open all the apps i downloaded (when i press it, it flashes and then closed) I tried to restart the iphone many times and all the apps are updated. However, it still doesn't work. I have the same problem for many times and the only way to resolve it is to restore it using iTunes.

Apr 21, 2012I have downloaded games to my new Iphone 4S 8 and when I try to open them, they won't open. I believe that this began when I downloaded I-tunes, moved my music from my computer over by using genius. After this is where I believe my problem may have began, my husband offered for me to load music from his I-pad to my computer and add it to the music that I had loaded to my i-tunes. From this time on my games will not open when I try to open them, and all of his apps have been added to my iphone. It appears that HIS apps will open on my phone, but mine won't.

Apr 30, 2012All downloaded apps do not open. When I click the app to open, the app flickers and then returns to the home screen. I reset my settings, no luck. However, after I download a new app, re-authenticate my password, the other apps work. I just don't want to re-authenticate every time i open the app.

May 16, 2012When I click on the app, it looks like it's going to open but then quickly goes back to the screen. I've tried turning off my phone, restarting it, and resyncing the apps on iTunes (where you check and uncheck the apps). Because I downloaded most of my apps on my phone, not the computer, the checking on iTunes only fixed the apps I bought on iTunes. I'm currently downloading the new update, 5.1.1, but still have 2 hours left. How can I fix the apps I bought on my phone?

Jul 1, 2012I have restarted the iPad many times. I have restored the iPad, both from a backup and as a new iPad twice each. I have downloaded a bunch of free new apps or reinstalled old ones from the App Store directly. All of my apps are updated of course, and work fine on my 4S. They will not work on my brand new iPad. The apps that I have loaded from the App Store, so not the ones as part of iOS 5.1.1, have not worked since the first time I booted up and synced the iPad.

May 26, 2012I just got my iphone 4s today and synced up and my apps wont open. Ive had this problem on my ipod before and just downloaded an app and redownloaded but it didnt work for my iphone. I tried everything. i went to my local store and they didnt know what to do they tried hard and soft shutting it off. they told me to call apple so i did and they told me to restire my iphone on my itunes and tried resetting all my settings and nothing works. My apps that i purchased have still remained un open and im getting very frustrated. I just spent $400 on this phone and its not working! I have no idea what to do! ive spend hours on the phone with the apple people and i get no where!

Open Apps Are Sideways On IPhone
Jun 22, 2014When I double click the home button to view my Apps that are open on my iPhone they display sideways, like landscape orientation (see image below).Â
Why has this happened and how can I change it back to the correct orientation again? BTW my iPhone is not jailbroken or anything and is up to date with the latest software.
