How do i switch the wallpaper so that it doesn't scroll when i flip thru my home screen panels? I think i had it set like that before the update but can't remember how. Also how do i keep the picture I want to use for my wallpaper from zooming in when i set it as my background? It displays perfectly when I view it in the gallery but magnifies absurdly when i set it to wallpaper.
I cannot scroll (horizontally) in a single line text box on a web page in Safari on my iPhone when the text is longer than the text box. I am pretty sure that I used to be able to do this (before iOS 8). I don't remember the last time I tried to do this. I used to touch and hold to bring up the magnifying glass and then when I would move the cursor to the beginning/end of the text box the text would scroll. Now when I try to move the cursor to the end of the text box nothing happens. If I try to move the cursor past the end of the text box the cursor actually moves outside of the text box where the text would be. If I then start typing the text jumps so the cursor is at the end of the text box. This doesn't seem to work to get back to the beginning of the text. Â
I just got my new sensation and when I flip it during calls it doesn't do anything.I know its suppose to become silent if the phone is ringing and to activate speaker when I am talking but it doesn't happen.
Using windows 7 I cannot connect my XPERIA Neo to my laptop The windows gives a notification that the Bluetooth Peripheral Device Driver is not available, same happens for my friends XPERIA Play too.I want to use a thrid party application to send SMS through my laptop and manage Contacts, etc. Thus the bluetooth peripheral device driver is imperative to connect the device.my recent experience with Nokia Suite was amazing,
1 - The drivers are fully available for all the phones and allow seemless integration with bluetooth on PCs.
2 - It is ultra convenient to manage all media, contacts and messages through your PC / Laptop using the suite.
Sony, is requested to kindly provide a better Suite with capability of Messaging and Managing Contacts also giving bluetooth peripheral device drivers for connecting the phone through bluetooth. This is my 5th phone under the Sony Brand and I do not want to be disappointed. I am an avid fan and recommend Sony to all my friends. These features are very basic and are expected to be available for such high end smart phones.
I've an 8220 which obviously supports Wi-Fi and have no data plan, only using the Wi-Fi feature to browse. The little freaky thing's that it works sometimes and sometimes not. I use Wi-Fi on 2 places: on the university and home. On the university it works great, I use Opera Mini on HTTP mode and it works great.
Here's the weird thing. When I got home, I am able to connect to my network. BUT I CAN'T MAKE IT WORK! Nor in the Hotspot Browser or in Opera Mini. The weird thing it's that, on vacations, when I didn't connect to the university network, it started to work home always, with socket mode configured on the Opera Mini settings.
Now, it connect's to my home network but it doesn't connect in any of the 2 browsers, but on the university it works great.
I have a BlackBerry 8830. The track ball is getting ornery. It will occasionally only function horizontally on the line it happens to be on. It won't go vertically. After fussing with it for a while, it starts working normally again.
My trackball is terrible at moving horizontally..up and down, no problem, left and right, big problem. It doesnt roll smooth (the ball does, but the icons dont). However, when I'm in BB Browser, horizontal works perfect. Go back to the bb main menu, i have to scroll 10 times just to move over one icon.Vertical though, no problem.this thing is like a month old. the track ball is fine, b/c it works in the browser.what gives?
This is getting really old. I've completely wiped my device multiple times and tried every setting and suggestion to stop it from dimming automatically when I turn it horizontally. NOTHING WORKS! I don't want people saying just turn down the backlight and live with it, or it's supposed to be that way. It's not supposed to work this way when I have the auto dim feature set to OFF then it should be OFF and I should be able to choose whatever brightness I want for my backlight.
My 8220 Flip reads a error everytime I turn it on. It reads " Uncaught exception: java. lang. NullPointer Exception" If I hit ok, The phone loads but a few seconds later the error comes again. If I hit ok the phone just freezes basically. What can I do to fix it? I had to move back to my old Behold. The phone is all but any calls do not go through.
I received my Flip 8230 today and have not yet had the chance to activate it and probably won't until tomorrow or Friday. I've been playing with it though to get a good feel for it, and I've noticed that there's no browser installed nor is there any MMS folder or option when sending a picture. I did a search on both issues and found one thread in which it was suggested to resend the service books to remedy the browser problem, so I'll do that as soon as it's hooked up.
What worries me more though is the lack of an MMS folder or MMS option when trying to send a picture. (I can't actually send one of course since my phone isn't activated yet, but the option should still be there.) I did a search on that as well and did find a couple threads about it, but neither really contain an answer to the problem. How do I fix it? I'll be pretty sad if I can't do MMS with this phone.
After i made a call and finished my conversation, i closed my phone and the screen went black and the red light began flashing. I've tried taking the battery out and hooking it up to the charger but nothing happens. Does anyone know how to take the sim card out of a blackberry 8230 flip phone?????? ive looked everywhere and have found no anwers.
I just got my new BB pearl flip and i am getting frustrated trying use it. i`m new to BB. anyway i want to make it so that when i receive a text message or an email the content of those do no appear on the screen when the phone is flipped closed. is there anyone who knows how i can do that? also i want to put some kind of password on the emails so that no one can access them but me.
This has happened at twice now since I have owned my flip.I will leave my phon eon overnight and when I go to use it the next morning, it is dead. No way to turn it on or anything. I pull the battery and the phone comes alive after it reboots. The battery has a full charge so it isn't out of juice.
I really prefer multitap to suretype but my phone is constanctly switching itself back to suretype. It's getting annoying having to switch back before every message I send.Does anyone know of a fix for this?
I call T-mobile to complain about my 45-day-old BB 8220 phone. I begin by explaining to them that:
1) My battery door rattles excessively
2) The keys are beginning to show on the main screen as imprints, and I cannot clean these scratches off
They say they've never heard of these two problems and that it's not in their "knowledge-base." So, I tell them that on a couple of tech forums, people have been complaining about these two problems. They tell me that "going by what people say on forums" is unreliable, and that the manufacturer does not list either of these two things as problems with the unit...
When my mom got her BB Flip this was never there, and today I see it, I have no clue what it can be its on the top left side it is all white and there is a a line as the base and a small circle on each end connected.
I'm still new at this Android stuff.... I've used an iPhone for a few years now. I must say that I was a little concerned about the switch, but am VERY happy so far!ith that being said, I'm pretty sure I'm being stupid and just missing something, but I can't get my homescreen(s) to flip even though the auto-rotate setting is checked. If it helps, I do have widgets on my homescreens, and perhaps this is the reason?
Led doesn't blink and screen doesn't light up, computer won't recognize (Jlcmder, MFI 1.8, DM 4.7, Crackutil, apploader /nojvm). Tried with and without battery. The only thing that does is charge battery (I left a battery charging overnight in the dead phone and use it in another phone and it is fully charged). Led does not do anything even while charging the battery.
