Oct 4, 2011How do i switch the wallpaper so that it doesn't scroll when i flip thru my home screen panels? I think i had it set like that before the update but can't remember how. Also how do i keep the picture I want to use for my wallpaper from zooming in when i set it as my background? It displays perfectly when I view it in the gallery but magnifies absurdly when i set it to wallpaper.

1 - The drivers are fully available for all the phones and allow seemless integration with bluetooth on PCs.
2 - It is ultra convenient to manage all media, contacts and messages through your PC / Laptop using the suite.
Sony, is requested to kindly provide a better Suite with capability of Messaging and Managing Contacts also giving bluetooth peripheral device drivers for connecting the phone through bluetooth.This is my 5th phone under the Sony Brand and I do not want to be disappointed. I am an avid fan and recommend Sony to all my friends.These features are very basic and are expected to be available for such high end smart phones.
BB Pearl Flip :: 8230 Received Flip Today / Has No Browser Or MMS Option?
Jan 27, 2010I received my Flip 8230 today and have not yet had the chance to activate it and probably won't until tomorrow or Friday. I've been playing with it though to get a good feel for it, and I've noticed that there's no browser installed nor is there any MMS folder or option when sending a picture. I did a search on both issues and found one thread in which it was suggested to resend the service books to remedy the browser problem, so I'll do that as soon as it's hooked up.
What worries me more though is the lack of an MMS folder or MMS option when trying to send a picture. (I can't actually send one of course since my phone isn't activated yet, but the option should still be there.) I did a search on that as well and did find a couple threads about it, but neither really contain an answer to the problem. How do I fix it? I'll be pretty sad if I can't do MMS with this phone.
How To Scroll Horizontally In Single Line Text Box On Web Page In Safari On IPhone
Dec 6, 2014I cannot scroll (horizontally) in a single line text box on a web page in Safari on my iPhone when the text is longer than the text box. I am pretty sure that I used to be able to do this (before iOS 8). I don't remember the last time I tried to do this. I used to touch and hold to bring up the magnifying glass and then when I would move the cursor to the beginning/end of the text box the text would scroll. Now when I try to move the cursor to the end of the text box nothing happens. If I try to move the cursor past the end of the text box the cursor actually moves outside of the text box where the text would be. If I then start typing the text jumps so the cursor is at the end of the text box. This doesn't seem to work to get back to the beginning of the text. Â

Jun 9, 2010I have an 8220 flip (with T-Mobile) that has stopped responding half the time. Some of the time it works perfectly -- and then, without warning, the screens go dark (both inside or out, depending on whether I have the phone open at the time) and the red "you have a message" light comes on, and stays on for about ten seconds. Then everything goes dark for a bit, and then the screen goes white, with the spinning clock in the middle. After ten or fifteen seconds, the screen goes dark again and the red light comes back, and the cycle repeats endlessly until I take out the battery.
Sometimes replacing the battery fixes the problem; sometimes it doesn't. The phone seems most likely to be lucid when fully charged, but swapping out the battery for another has not worked.

Jun 24, 2011Just got the Atrix (ME860, Android 2.2.2) and I really liked the main screen's 3D style display of the 5 different sections (Weather, Tools, Messages, Main screen, etc.) where I could just swipe my finger and switch between them. But for some reason this option dissapeared (maybe when I installed the gmail app?). I can't see that little middle button on the bottom of the main page where I use to press and be able to flip between those 5 screens. Is there any way to get that back? (of course without resetting the phone back to factory settings).

Jun 20, 2010I recently bought Nokia 7020 Flip phone and found this problem with primary display which is 2.2 inches. Problem is you cannot read out the screen when you tilt the screen even 30 degrees. Photos just look like as negatives when you tilt the phone to 60 degrees angle. You can see the correct display on the screen only when it is exactly in front of your face. Is this a problem with my phone or it the problem with Nokia 7020 Flip phone itself.
Nokia Dealer told me that Nokia has introduce LCD screen for this phone and not TFT screen as found in any other model of Nokia, hence this is a normal behavior. You will see the display correctly only when it is exactly in front of your face/eyes.
I cannot check with any other dealer as they do not have any demo model of the phone which I can operate. All are factory sealed and dealer refuse to open the box to get hands-on experience. Even he refused to take back this phone saying this is normal behavior with this model, when I told him that I want to return this phone for this screen display problem.
I still cannot believe that Nokia will introduce this type of screen in this newer model, where user will have to keep the screen in from of his/her eyes without tilting even 30 degrees to see the correct display on the screen.Whether Nokia is compromising on quality to reduce the cost? Could anyone please confirm on this behavior of Nokia 7020 flip screen.
