When she texts/messages me, and the phone is locked I do not get a message text, nor do I have an unread message in the Text inbox?

My iphone 5s has started to fail to make the selected sounds for phone calls and texts. As a result I am missing about half my calls. I have rebooted the phone but still experiencing this problem.

I have had a problem with texts not always going off for atleast a month now, sometimes a battery pull works, other times not. Now my alarm isn't going off. Again it's not always and battery pulls only sometimes fix the issue. I have checked the options for the alarm and text and when I click 'try it' it says 'invalid ring tone selected' which makes no sense, I have changed it from the phone's default tones and to music stored on my phone which I know plays in the music player and neither works.

This is an unusual situation. I have this ringtone that is a song about a cartoon character. Some kids texted it to me and I saved it in my ringtones folder. Later I tried to text it to a couple family members. On one of the attempts, it didn't attach because I hit the wrong selection (not sure what).Anyway, ever since, the song comes on constantly and plays all the way through. For example, if I receive a text, the normal text alert sound goes off. But afterwards, the song starts to play and I can't stop it until it has played through. If I receive an instant message from someone on Blackberry Messenger, the normal message alert sound goes off, but afterwards the song starts and again plays all the way through.If I make a call, after I hang up the song goes off and plays all the way through. If I send an email, as soon as I hit send button, the song goes off and plays all the way through. Nothing I have tried seems to work.I have checked all my ringtone and contact settings. I have deleted the ringtone/song from my ringtone file and deleted the few messages and emails on phone where I forwarded it to myself or a family member. Putting the phone on silent doesn't seem to work. Once the song starts, I cannot stop it until it plays all 30 seconds. Anyway, I still have the same problem and the song will not quit playing. So, I think you can see my dilemma. Anyone have suggestions on how to fix this problem? I thought maybe it had a virus, but no one that I know who has the ringtone has the same problem as me. I did recently install a new update/upgrade of the Blackberry operating system. Do you think it is a problem with the update?

I have tried to resend the service books but it wont allow me saying "your device had a problem connecting to the server". When i try send a text it says "requested facility not implented". I then wont receive messages until hours later when I guess it finally has sent? Also, in my messaging its showing messages from years ago. View 4 Replies View RelatedIs text messaging. If I try to send an outgoing text at the same time that one is incoming it will not send the outgoing message. It will struggle for about 30 seconds to 1 minute (or even more) and eventually time out with a 'text was not sent' error message. For someone like me who sends thousands of texts a month it's the most annoying thing ever! Other phones do not have this problem.
Also the time stamp for texts does not work if the phone is powered off. For example: I turn my phone off at midnight and someone sends me a text at 1:00 AM. I turn my phone back on at 8AM. The text arrives but does not have the correct time stamp as being sent at 1:00 AM. It will be shown as 8AM. So I have no idea what time the message was actually sent. Once again other phones I have used did not have this problem.
when I make a call it immediately says "call ended/closed" and when I enter *110# I get this message: Connections problems or invalid MMI-code.When I restart my phone, maybe repeting that process like 10 times then I can send/recieve calls/texts, but only for a brief moment.Before it wasn't as bad... I always got the Connection problem message after a I've made a phone call. But now it is bugging me 24/7.I have resetted my phone, I've even upgraded it. View 7 Replies View RelatedI created two ringtones, not having an issue with that... found a FREE app on the iPhone to download and create a ringtone. I'd created two (2) tones, I want one to be for my wife's number when she calls, and the other to be ID as default when anyone calls, but I can't choose both of the ring tones I created and sync to the iPhone, it only appears as the recent ring tone I sync to the phone.
My specs: 3GS 16GB (NEW since this past Friday 29th of Jan), using Windows Vista and the recent iTunes software for the PC.
Maybe it isn't done?!I when inside "contacts" tried it in there, and to no avail it isn't showing but the recent sync tone I have. I guess the phone had deleted the first and kept the most recent? Can this phone have multiple tones for different (#'s) you have stored on your phone
