Ok so i use to have a blackberry and one of the best apps i had on that phone was an app that allowed me to see who texted me with a pop up notifcation that included both the text and there picture. it was cool. now that i have an iphone, whitch is suppose to have all theses many many apps i cant seem to find an app like this..
got my iphone 4 this morning, and the face sensor works, but it seems to randomly not. on almost every call i've made today i find my face is randomly popping stuff up during the phone call...anyone else experiencing this?
I'm bringing my new phone in today for the same problem I had with my last one. The camera is much better than my last one but it's doing the same thing when I'm talking to someone. Yesterday I was talking to a buddy and all of the sudden he was on speaker phone and a Facetime call was started. When I hung up I noticed that the keyboard had pressed the 5 button several times too.My question is there a fix for this? Is it hardware or software? I've read both here and the fact that apple gave me a new phone last time I'm thinking it's hardware.
I'm spending the day with a deaf friend of mine, and she really wants to try a sign language conversation over Face Time. She reached out on her facebook, but none of her signing friends seem to have the iPhone 4 yet. Is there anybody here she can try it out with?
I purchased 3G Unrestrictor, no dice. Anyone know if there's any way we can use Facetime over the 3G network? Kinda bummed that the unrestrictor wouldn't work.
I have upgrade IOS to 5.1 and face detection on the camera application does not seem to work. It doesn't seem to work on my iPad2 either. has anyone gotten this function/feature to work on either the iPhone 4 or iPad2?
I have oddest question about the IPhone and I don't know if I can explain it right but here goes. When I'm on a call, I sometimes accidentally hangup, put call on hold, activate/deactivate speaker etc. Basically my "face" is in contact with the touch screen as I'm talking and its hitting the "buttons".
In other words, if my girlfriend or boyfriend calls me while connected to wi-fi, and I am too, will the phone call automatically go to Face Time? think this would be an invasion of privacy because there are some things and activities I do in my personal life, that I don't want my friends or family members or significant other to know about.
I bought a i phone 4 from ebay how do i change the e-mail for the face time account for my phone. i already set up my icloud account and i tunes account
Tried out my first face time call. Everything worked great except when I pushed the toggle to utilize the back camera, the person I was talking to said their image of me simply froze. They were not able to see through my back camera. When they switched to their back camera I saw everything fine.
My camera freezes for days when I try to take a picture. The video does not work either. and the face time camera does not work!I have updated, restored the phone but nothing works
I am using xperia neo v. Also, i had updated my software to Android 4.0. In the security settings, there is one option is there. That is, face lock. when i clicking this it show the error that is, "unfortunately, Settings has stopped".
I was curious about the ics update in xperia mini pro, and wanted to ask whether there will be face unlock? as front camera is available... as xperia ray has it...
I have recently bought the S5 and have been experimenting with the face tag function so that the People filter in Gallery is populated. However what I am finding is that the device is forgetting who I have tagged. This has many interesting side effects and I have been to the Samsung service centre who had no advice apart from ringing samsung and samsung themselves said go and talk to the service people.
There is a bug in firmware which causes phone calls to be cancel by accidentally touching the screen with face. The bug is present since 2.3.4 and is still present in newest. The problem is Neo V tries to be smart and turn the screen on when the phone is placed horizontally. Unfortunately it sometime fails. So the actual problem is with identification of the phone orientation, which points to accelerometer. On the other hand the idea of turning the screen on when detected orientation is horizontally seems to have completely no sense. Reliable and robust solution would be to stick with proximity sensor data only and not to take orientation into account when deciding whether or not to turn the screen on.
Where can I get a description of the face of my 8320? I see things on the face screen that I do not know what they are. I have printed out the huge owners guide but nowhere in it is a picture of the face with a legend.
