When I try and update apps, i get told there's not enough memory and I need to adjust settings. Yet the link it offer does not go anywhere. I can see no options relevant in the settings menu. I have 1 gig free, Iphone4 IOS5.
I have a 3GS. I had to change my email so had to change my user name to my new email in iTunes. I can connect to iTunes on all my computers using my new iTunes user name and old password. I cannot update or add new apps on my iphone because I get message saying I am typingmy password wrong.
Have tried hard restarts and syncing with my computer. After I type my password to update, the apps just say waiting. Do I just need to do a factory reset or something? I have looked on the web for a solution, but haven't found anything useful.
Since prompted by iTunes to update software on iPhone 4, cannot update any of my apps as they are stuck in waiting. Have tried to go to app via phone and computer no change. I am reluctant to do factory restore as I assume my phone will be wiped.
So my phone told me updates were available so I went to update all and it says installing but the apps have been in waiting status for over 24 hours with no profess at all
My phone says I have 14 app updates but when I try to update it says I dont have enough storage and to change that in settings. When I go to settings I have lots and lots of storage.
When I try to update apps, and it prompts me for my password, it displays an erroneous email address. When I go to the settings for the App Store it shows the correct email address. I've tried logging out and logging back in, but the App Store still shows the wrong email address.
I have an iPhone 4 and recently updated to IOS 5 and since then whenever I try to download a podcast, apps, or even update existing apps, there is a problem! With Apps, the message is "Waiting..." (So far a Bible app app has been "waiting" for about three weeks to update! Going back to the update apps info screen, the message says, "Installing" and with podcasts, it starts to download and then stops at 9.8 Kb...
All installed Apps work fine and there is no other problem except for updating and downloading. I have a good WIFI signal (have tried this in multiple locations and all show good signal strength). I can listen to online podcasts, but cannot download them.

I have an iPhone 4 8gb and it will not let me update my apps because I have so much space used. even though its saying I haven't even used all of my 8gb. Its just showing I have no free space but I've only used 5gb. Where is my other 3gb and why won't it let me update?
My apps will not update on my phone. I've turned my phone off and let it set and tried to update after and it didn't work. I've tried backing up and syncing and it didnt work either. I've tried to update the apps individually instead of all at once and I get a message such "name of the app is not available at this time" , but it updated on my iPad just fine. I can't use my apps on my phone as it acts like they are currently updating. It's been this way for three days.
So once they come up with a proper JB method for us so we can update, how is the process done to reinstall all the fixes/app that I have? I have most through cydia but some through rock.
I have an iPhone 3GS and noticed some of my apps needed an update. I tried to update them and they stay stuck saying waiting and they don't progress at all. I've tried all I know to do. Furthermore, it does the same when trying to download a new app also.
I would like to upgrade my apps, but my iPad2 writes that I don't have enough memory. Is it possible to upgrade only a part of the apps? In the app-store, you can chose either all of them or nothing.
how to deal with an iPhone app that has frozen in mid-update without deleting it and re-installing it? I don't want to loose the saved data in it but it just won't play ball...
I have 22 updates to do to my apps but can't update apps downloaded as "Cannot download" appears on the screen. Then says: "There is not enough available storage to download these items. You can manage your storage in settings." But when I select "Settings" on the screen, it doesn´t take me nowhere.
I updated to OS 5.1.1 but now App Store only brings up very old Apple ID when trying to update. I have changed ID/Password on the support page and can access my account through iTunes and even through Settings>Store>Apple ID. I have signed out/in, restarted phone and everything works fine EXCEPT whenever I try to update apps through App Store it brings up an apple ID I haven't used in years and is not even recognized on the support/reset pages.
I updated my phone to the IOS 5.1.1. Then I tried to update my apps on my iphone 4S. After I put my password in, an unknown error box comes up. I press retry and the same box comes up.
My iphone indicates that my apps need updating, so I press the update icon. All of the apps update except the iBird App because according to my iPhone the app is over 50mb so I need to connect to a wifi or my computer. So I do but nothing happens.
